Rank 1.1 Getting the letter Estoria was sitting in her room reading with her brother lying on the foot of her bed, when one of the other females she lived with brought her a letter. She was first confused at it and setting her book aside accepted it with a wry smile. No one ever really wrote to her other then her parents. Usually they sent her letters asking after her brother. They had not been happy when she moved and had to take her younger brother with her. She hadn’t planned to but the spell that she had totally messed up on seemed to need him to be with her if she was ever going to find a way to fix the problem. She sighed as her mind had been distracted with more memories of what had happened. Memories of that day seemed to sneak up on her far to many times in her day-to-day life. She carefully opened the letter and read what was within. In its pages another sphinx she had only met once before begged her for help. Dear Estoria, I am sorry to ask this of you but I am in a slight bind. I cannot leave my shop and need to find my father. I know you do not know me and I do not know you well. I know you have no true fighting profession but, I hope this task will not need you to have such. I would like to ask you to find my father. I have some books that may have the answer to your problem that I found in my shop in some old boxes I do not remember having. I would give them to you in return for you seeking out my father. Please. You may be my only hope. I have asked others and they have not been able to find him. Please I am begging your assistance. If you would like to know more and help me please come to my shop and we shall talk. Rosemary. She tried to remember when it was she had met the Reanimater. It had only been a moment and it was only a day or so ago. Perhaps she had made an impression? She wasn’t sure. But she figured listening to what the female Sphinx had to say wasn’t too much. If she decided to truly go for it then at least she would have information. Rosemary was asking for help finding her father according to the letter and offered to allow her to look in some old books she had found in a back room. Maybe these books had information that could help her turn her brother back into a sphinx. How a person like Rosemary had gotten her paws on these books, Estoria was not sure and may never truly know as the reanimater had stated she did not know where these books came from. The note did not expand on the books. It did not even say what the names of the books were. Just stated that they were books that might have information she could use. She wondered if Rosemary had even read the books at all herself. She glanced over at her brother where he slept in his current form of a fox. He had been so sad and such since she had accidentally turned him into a fox. He had been a happy go lucky cub not long before. He never complained. He couldn’t talk but he knew how to make sure she knew what he needed. But, he never complained. She loved him. She would do anything for him. And now she was being asked to search for someone and being offered a way that may or may not lead to a way to help him. Didn’t he deserve at least for her to try? She nodded and decided she had to try. If for nothing else but that the answer for her brother may be within those books. She carefully got together a bag of her most treasured books and anything else she may need, and set out to talk to Rosemary. Little did she know but that her brother followed her as she left. He believed she would need him. And he did not want to be left alone. She made her way through streets she did not know well. It was a trip far away from her usual haunts. But she was curious for those books that where promised. She needed to keep her promise to her brother. She needed to turn him back. He deserved to be a cub once again. Since it was all her fault. She was not yet a full-fledged wizard, magician, sorceress or anything like that. She was a dabbler. She needed a proper teacher. But until she could find herself one she would continue to teach herself. She would read as much as she could. And she would keep looking for the way to fix what she had done. Even if it meant she could be hurt or worse. Killed. No she would not think of that. She had to make it back. Being killed was not an option. Her brother needed her. If she never came back from all this who would take care of him? Who would make sure he was safe? Would he ever make it back to her parent’s home? No she would do this and she would come back. She was staying with a friend in Crux for a reason. She was hoping to find the magic she needed to help her brother. She would not give up. This was just one more way in which to look. She wandered through the streets trying to remember exactly where the shop was. She had only been there the once. Her friend the Vampire Aneski had shown her where it was. She was staying with Aneski for a bit. Her friend had claimed there were many books here in Crux that maybe Estoria had not read that may help in her personal quest. After about an hour of searching she saw it. The shops window merely said Rosemary’s. She smiled hesitantly as she walked through the door. Here goes nothing she thought. Killed.

Rank 1.2 Finding out what is needed Once she walked into Rosemary’s she made her way to the back to find the proprietor. After reintroductions on both their parts she asked Rosemary fro more information and listened carefully to what Rosemary had to tell her. She claimed to be worried for him and needed to find him. She claimed the man was her father and said is name was Dr. Vune. She needed to find him to be sure he was okay and because he knew how to decipher something she was having trouble with. She really needed his help with this so she did not make something that could be dangerous. She knew she could not leave her shop unattended. So she had sent out some letters to a few sphinxes she thought could find him. Some had already tried but failed to do so. She was getting desperate and could not leave her shop to do it herself. She would not say why. She said she would give her three books she had found in the back of her shop. She did not know where these books had come from but claimed they looked to be books on magic and spells. She brought the books forward and Estoria looked at them. They were truly old. Older then many she had been able to find already. She could barely decipher the writing on them they were so old and worn. She asked if she could open one and look at the pages and was given permission. She looked inside and found spells all right. But these spells seemed to have something to do with creation and making something out of parts. Not sure what it meant she closed it again and wondered. She would get to see more once she did as she was asked so she turned back to Rosemary to ask what info on his last known were abouts there might be. Rosemary told her of two possible places she could try. First was a dusty old mansion that belonged to him and was here in town. It was large and the grounds plentiful. Rosemary herself remembered little of it though. The other was a potential hidden Laboratory that Rosemary was not sure how to find. She had only heard of it in passing conversations with him. He had not talked much of wither place. Neither sounded very inviting. With a sigh she decided she had better start with the place that was well known to exist. She took off heading for the Mansion. It seemed the easiest to look for. Rosemary did warn that either may be filled or have some of his experiments and that Estoria must be careful. She was not sure what her father may have been working on and these things may be dangerous. She took one last longing look at the books Rosemary offered and sighed. Best get moving. This quest was not going to be solved all on its own. Her last thought as she left the reanimater’s shop was, what in the world was she getting herself into? Still following her, her brother was thinking the same thing. He could not for the life of him figure out what she was doing or where she was going. He had not heard all the talk and did not know what it was Rosemary had asked of her. He had stayed outside in the front of the store. He had stared in the window the entire time. Sadly it was so dark in the store that he could not see anything. He had not liked the look of things in this city. He had only come with her to Crux in the first place because she needed him there to be able to fix the spell. Now she was heading off into who knew what kind of danger. And she knew better. What would their parents think if they knew? He just shook his head. Did she really have a death wish? This city was just totally not a place his parents would be happy she had gone too. They had said so in many of their letters. He hoped she knew what she was doing. You see her brother was still young. He had been but a cub when her spell had gone awry and he had been turned into a fox. He couldn't talk and warn her that she was being stupid. He couldn’t tell her that this city made him scared and worried and that he felt like eyes followed them everywhere. So he set upon helping her and following her and making sure she was safe. Estoria had some minor spells she had taught herself to help but she was a bit accident-prone. She would never admit it but her brother knew she was. Even walking in a normal way she could trip. And he needed to be there should anything happen. He was her brother. He may not be bigger then her but he was her brother and he needed to protect her. And just to prove his thoughts right she tripped over a crack in the walkway because she was looking down at the map in her paws. She knew she should stop to look and then walk properly. Why did she do his to herself he wondered. His sister sure was weird. He believed she would need him. He wasn’t sure why but he knew she would need him. He nearly ran into to her as she stopped at a weird gat. She was looking up at it with a look of fear and awe. The gate was tall and thick metal. It was black and looked like there was a large V in the swirling rot iron gate. It looked daunting. The small fox gulped. Was she really going in there? He sure hoped not. It did not look safe. And he could swear he saw something in there staring back at him with red glowing eyes. He crouched low to the ground as he watched. He sighed as he could see the look on his sister’s face showing that she was trying to get the courage to open the gates. Yep she was going in, and with a sigh he knew, so was he. You see her brother was still young. He had been but a cub when her spell had gone awry and he had been turned into a fox. He couldn't talk and warn her that she was being watched. So he set upon helping her and following her and making sure she was safe. Estoria had some minor spells she had taught herself to help but she was a bit accident-prone. She would never admit it but her brother knew she was. Even walking in a normal way she could trip. Rank 1.3 The mansion As Estoria came to the gates to the property of the mansion she felt a chill. Something wasn't right here. The place seemed menacing. She wasn’t so sure she wanted to go in. She got the feeling that the place really didn’t want her there. But she had to try. She took a moment to catch her breath and settle her nerves. She was not aware of the eyes watching her. Nor was she aware of the eyes behind her watching. She still had no idea her brother was there. After her moment she moved forward. The metal of the gate was cold and menacing. First she opened the gates and stepped into the dark overgrown path leading to the building. She heard strange sounds she could not identify. Some sounded almost like low level growling. Some sounded like the soft flapping of wings. She nearly turned back around to leave. She did not like these sounds. She took a breath and settled herself. She was not a chicken she told herself. She could and would do this. She slowly made her way forward. The grasses here where way overgrown. The walkway crunched under her paws. The trees seemed to reach down for her like skeleton hands beckoning her to their embrace. She shivered at the imagery this formed in her head. About half way there she had to pull out her torch and light it. The grounds were far more overgrown closer to the mansion and impossibly dark. Something rustled in the tall grass next to the path. She squeaked and nearly dropped her torch to run. A small mouse dashed past. Again she had to take a breath and continue. This was not going well. Here she was being spooked by mice and such. She did not like all this dark creepy stuff. She jumped as a bat flew overhead. She should be used to bats. Aneski had a few as pets, but she was so spooked anything could and would frighten her. After a deep breath she continued forward again. She made it to the stairs leading to the door of the mansion, when a low growl sounded from the porch. It was deep and guttural almost animalistic. She froze as she tried to see onto the porch to see what was there. All she could see was a crouched shadow at one end. It had eyes that glowed red and menacing. It almost looked furry. The fire of her torch seemed to be swallowed by it. She wanted to see it better. She wanted to put her torch closer to see if she could see this thing. When she went to do just that there was a slightly louder growl that erupted from the figure. She dropped the torch with a start. The torch sputtered but stayed lit. Then there was an answering growl from behind. She spun to try and see what could possibly be behind her. Another growl came from the figure again. She then tried to turn just right to keep both in front and behind in her view. This was not easy at all. Her heart beat hard as it felt like it wanted to jump from her chest. She felt that she could hear it mix with the growls; this was not what she had thought she had signed up for. She thought this was it. This was the moment she was going to die. She had a flash thought of her little brother never knowing why she had not returned. She thought of her parents. Suddenly there was a blur from the porch heading her way. She stumbled and fell back to her haunches. As if from nowhere another blur launched itself at the blur, this one coming from behind her. The Blur from behind her was smaller then the one from the porch. The one from behind her was small and red and white and was not launching at her but at the figure from the porch. Sirius had come to her aid. She was surprised and instantly worried. What in the name of the goddess was he doing there? There was a scuffle on the porch. She knew Sirius was to small to do any real damage to the thing from the porch. She heard a lot of growling and yipping. She stood and readied herself to come to her brother’s aid. She was just not sure how to. She heard a yip of pain and dashed forward. All hesitation was gone. He should not have followed. Now he was hurt because of her. She snatched her injured brother from the ground and beat a hasty retreat. She ran with all her might. She could hear the sound of pursuit. She barely made it to the gate. She slammed the gate behind her as something heavy hit it. She had tears in her eyes as she heaved with heavy breaths that were near to sobs. Perhaps the mansion was not the place to start. From somewhere in the darkness of the grounds behind her there was a howl. She took a moment to sink to the ground and gasp air in and out. She wanted to cry. She wanted to weep as her quest had gotten her brother injured. She gasped her need for sobs and tears back so as not to frighten him and gathered her brother close. She carefully arranged him on her back and ran all the way back to her friends home. She needed to regroup. She needed to take stock, bandage her brother, and see about finding the Laboratory. She just hoped that the Lab was not as dangerous. She was so ready for this adventure to be over. She was past ready. She was not an adventurer. Why did sphinxes put up with this? Maybe adventures where not for her. She was to afraid of things. She had been useless to fight the thing that had tried to attack her. Her thoughts revolved around her newest failure as she ran. Tears did manage to slip from her eyes as she ran. She had failed. She had let her little brother become hurt. She was not even worth becoming a wizard. She wanted to be a great wizard some day and she couldn’t even protect her brother. She had no clue what that thing even was. And now her brother was hurt. She was such a failure. She hated herself. He deserved a better sister then her.

Rank 1.4 Trying a spell Estoria made her way to her safe place. It was the home of a friend. She tried to reign in her emotions before seeing her friend. She took a deep breath as she entered the home. There she told her friend of what had happened and tended her brother's wounds. Her friend shook her head worriedly. Sirius had a couple scratches and what looked like a possible bite wound. She was not sure what could have bitten him. She cleaned them and put on a healing salve. He twitched and yipped in pain. She hated causing him pain. “Well you wouldn’t be in this position had you stayed home.” He looked at her with a look of accusation. “Yes I know, I should have stayed home. But, I am helping someone that might have a book that could change you back.” His look changed to a sigh and roll of the eyes. “Don’t give me that. Any chance is better then no chance. I would do anything to fix my mistake. I know I am no wizard. I know I am not supposed to play with magic. But, I cannot be anything less then who I am. I like magic. So I want to learn magic. I am sorry it got you all caught up and changed and all that. I have told you how sorry I am for it over and over and over again. I don’t know how else to make you understand I am sorry. I want to make it better. So I will do what has to be done.” Her brother placed his paw on hers and looked into her eyes. She let a tear drop. He knew what she was trying to do for him. And she knew he would be right there beside her trying to help. She sighed and whipped her tears away. She patted his paw and set aside her salve. She again checked that her work on his wounds were good. “We will get through this. I may have failed this little part, but I have to keep trying.” She was trying to keep it together. Once she was sure all was ok and cared for as best as she could, she carefully wrapped the worst of it. She was gentle as she could. She then created a special sling to carry him in on her back if needed. And she knew it would be needed, as she was not about to let him go home alone. She sighed as he fell into sleep. And she knew he would not allow her to go on alone. If she did not let him go along he would follow. There had to be a way to figure out where in the whole city the Lab was. It was her only other option at this time. She wondered. Sitting down with her brother curled next to her she pulled out some of her books and began reading. Maybe there was something in them that would be of use. As she read she saw a spell in one of them. It claimed that if you gathered the right ingredients you could create a spirit like apparition that could lead you where you wanted to go. She glanced at the ingredients list and sighed. Some were not going to be easy to find. She sighed. Heck most were going to be downright difficult. Where in the world would she find werewolf hair? She had never seen a werewolf before. Why did it need something like that? Did werewolves even exist she wondered? She then happened to glance down at her brother and notice some hairs on him that did not match his own red and white fur. She tilted her head and thought for a moment. Could the howl have meant? Maybe. When she thought about it she supposed that beast they had come up against might have been. She had never seen or known of one before. Should she chance it? She carefully gathered the hairs and put them in one of her jars. She hoped her guess on them was right. She also hoped it did not mean even more trouble for her little brother. She would need to read up on werewolves. And what a bite could mean for her brother. Then she carefully gathered him up and put him on her back in his sling as she set out. She needed to get the ingredients so she could start on the spell. She knew it would not be ready till the next day. She had to visit 3 different shops to find some of the things she needed. Once found she only had one thing left to find. Actually it was not hard to find. It was just some dirt, but not just any dirt, dirt that had ash of the dead in it. She sighed. Next stop the graveyard. She crept up to the local graveyard and frowned. This was not going to be easy. Ghosts hated when the living came in and took things. Leaving her brother and bags safely out side the gates she dashed in and made her way to a spot she had heard people often sprinkled ash. She quickly gathered some dirt and dashed back out. She felt the paws of several ghostly things gently brush against her. It was creepy and made her want to shiver and twitch. Once back outside she grabbed her things and her brother and went back to her friends place. There she began prepping the spell. It took her longer then she wanted. It took her through the night and well into the morning, then right on through the day to the evening. She made sure she followed every part of the spell to a T. She carefully checked and double-checked. Once finished with the spell she cast it and waited. She hoped those hairs had been right. If not she had just wasted everything. She had wasted all her work if those hairs had not been as she had thought. She prayed to the goddess that they were. Please don’t let her have made another mistaken fail. She couldn’t take another fail right then.

Rank 1.5 Finding a Lab About five minutes after the spell was cast a small glowing orb appeared. It took the form of a wolf stood waiting for her to tell it where she needed to go. “I needed to find Docotor Vune’s Hidden Lab… Please” she added the please hesitantly. It began moving almost instantly. It glanced back at her when she did not start following right away. .Estoria again gathered her things and her brother and set out. She had been smart to make sure her things were at hand. She didn’t know how long this spell lasted and she did not want to lose the little glowing wolf. Once she started following it moved swiftly with a purpose. The little glowing thing lead her here and there and even across things she was not sure she should be crossing. Then it led into a very dark and troubling alley. She did not like the look of the alley as it reminded her of the pathway at the mansion the day before. She followed with a gulp. Though she had not slowed in any way. Suddenly it came to a stop and vanished. It was so sudden that Estoria, who was running full tilt to keep up ran right into someone, or more like something. It made the strangest garbled sound. She squeaked, it gurgled, Sirius yipped, and there was confusion. Estoria tumbled one way it fell another Sirius went sliding yet another. She tried to scramble up, grabbing at her brother. She was having flash msmories of the monstocity near the mansion and was in panic mode. As she was scrambling she noticed there was a door. Estoria quickly dragged her brother through it. Once through her breath heaved and she gagged. What was that smell? It was like something rotting and nasty and she wanted to plug her nose. Luckily the thing from outside had not followed them inside. As she made her way deeper there were sounds that were a bit, odd, frightening, crazy... just not normal. As she stepped into the room at the end of a corridor she saw what looked like sphinxes from many walks of life stitched to together with odd metal things here and there and well she just couldn't describe it all. Most of them were on slabs. Some were just propped in corners. There were also some floating in cylinders in strange liquid. Some looked similar to some of the stuff she had seen Rosemary do but she had never seen such extremes. She shook her head and tried to decide what in the world this Doctor Vune was trying to make. They were most disturbing. One had great horns, a wolf’s face, Wings like a butterfly, eyes like a bug of some sort, and was that hooves on the back legs? What in the world? And one over by a wall looked like it could have once been a large snake but then there were antlers and feathered wings. Wait make that one feathered wing and one bat wing? Oh good goddess what had she gotten herself into now. She couldn’t decide if she wanted to vomit, run or look closer. She was oddly curious. She wasn’t sure what he had been trying to do but some of them looked strangely interesting. She also saw some small beasts in cages by a back wall. She moved closer and looked at them. One looked like a snake with feathered wings and a cats face. She looked closely at another one and it looked like a fox with bat like wings. It was the most normal of the things she saw. Well, except for the wings. Her brother moaned and her attention was diverted. She found a clean space, well as clean as she could find. She cleaned his wounds yet again and re bandaged them. He whimpered and she sat there for a moment and held him close. He was a bit spooked by all the machines and such. His young mind had had enough of all the monsters and such for one day. She wondered if she would find any answers here. She could tell that the man that had made all these beasts was long gone. But, had he left any info as to where he was going? She had to find out. She had to look around and see if there was anything she could find. But, first she needed to settle her brother and calm him. He was getting really freaked out. Heck, she was freaked out too. She felt lost and frightened and in way over her head. She glanced around as she sat there rocking her brother gently. Everything had a film of dust. If this was Doctor Vune’s place then there had to be a=an office or something. Maybe she could find it and that would be a safer place for her and her brother to rest and figure out what to do next. She carefully put him in his sling and set out to find the office. Once there she sat down and made him a soft lace to rest. He was calming more now. She set to reading the papers she found scattered around the office. Maybe there was something there. Many of the papers were filled with odd medical like terms. At least she guessed that is what they said. She could not understand any of the words. Many of the papers showed diagrams of the different creatures he tried to splice together. One showed a wolf like sphinx mid transformation as it said but there were antlers on its head as he had tried to create something new. The paper said he had been trying to mix predator and prey in one beast to see if it would meld or try to tear itself apart. She shuddered. The sphinx was a mad sphinx. What in the world was he thinking? The paper was stating something about trying again with a different mixture and then it just kinda stopped. She knew that was because there was not another page. She started checking drawers and found what looked like a journal. She sat down to read. The pages were filled with his thoughts and his madness. Perhaps this was something Rosemary would want to read as well.

Rank 2.1
Estoria had fallen asleep in the office when she had been done reading. She had curled on the floor with her brother. He was whimpering in his sleep. She had woken several times to his sounds. She just cuddled him closer and whispered that he was safe with her. He would then fall into a slightly deeper sleep. She ended up not getting as much sleep as she had wanted. With him making his whimpers and the sounds of this frightening place she was just not able to.
She woke from a dream of glowing eyes and howls to light flittering through a grimy window. It made the room slightly less frightening. She sighed and stretched. Her brother in his fox form whimpered but stretched a little. She took the time to check his wounds. They were already looking like they were partly healing. She shook her head. That was not normal. She worried. What could it mean?
She cleaned the wounds again and put a new layer of salve on it. She then wrapped it again. She really needed to get a book on were wolves. She worried that something bad was going to happen to him. Hadn’t she done enough? Already she had turned him into a fox. Had she now inadvertently gotten him turned into a were? She sighed. She needed to get this done so she could find a way to turn him back into what he needed to be. He needed to be a Sphinx cub, not a fox, and definitely not a werewolf.
Once she was done cleaning and bandaging and all she pulled out some food for them both. It wasn’t much, just some jerky and some water. Once they had both eaten she made sure he was comfortable and told him she was just going to go look around for clues. She told him she was not planning on leaving him. She left her bags there and cringed when he whined a little.
She wandered around. She saw many strange bodies. Everything was dead. All the beastly things he had made were dead. Perhaps these were the failed things. Perhaps he had not been able to bring them to life after creating them? She was not sure if she really wanted to meet the sphinx behind these monstrosities.
As she wandered the lab peeking into many different rooms she got a more and more uneasy feeling. There was not going to be a clue here. She just knew it. Most of the important things were gone. There was nothing to even give a hint. She was about to give up when she thought she heard something.
She followed the sound to a door that was closed and at the back of the building. She stood there listening to the sounds from the other side of the door. It sounded like a gurgling and was that crying? Was someone crying in there? She knocked on the door and heard a gurgled gasp. Something hit the door and started trying to open the door. It sounded like the person on the other side was panicked and frightened and desperate to get out.
“Help… Gurgle… Please…I…Stuck.” It cried from the other side. It sounded like a child. The voice was soft and pleading and odd. Estoria could not figure out what it was that made her a little frightened to open the door. But the pleading of the small young voice made her try anyway. It took her a bit but she got the door unstuck and opened.
Once the door opened she looked at the small being on the other side of the door and was shocked. On the other side of the door was indeed a small sphinx. Well, more like a almost sphinx, not quite a sphinx? She wasn’t sure. He was small like a child. Coming from his head were three protrusions. One was like a rams horn, one was like the horn of a beast she had read about once, if she remembered correctly it was called a Kirin, and then there was an antler like that of a deer. The antler was small and not very developed. Then there was a line of stitches that crossed his face. On one side of the stitches his skin was a dark chocolate, on the other he had flesh of Pale moonlight white. His eyes were even different colors. One eye was blue as a crystal clear lake and the other eye was almost black as a starless night. His sphinx body was crossed with lines of stitching as well. And there was several different patches of animal skin. Some patches were short fur, some medium length, some long, and even some scaled. And coming from the poor child’s back were wings of metal and gears.
“Master? Gurgle… Were Master?” It asked
“I don’t know. I am looking for Dr. Vune. Do you know where he is?” She asked it. She hoped it understood.
“Master say Creature bad….” It started it’s gurgling cry again.
“I am so sorry.” She got down and tried to comfort him. “Why did he say you were bad?”
“Creature a fail. Gurgle…Hicup…Creature no fly… Master no want Creature.”
“Well, that is not fair. And not your fault dear. Perhaps we can find master and you can show him you are not a fail? I can help you.”
“Pretty Lady help Creature?” His little face brightened.
“Yes.”
“Master take others. He take others to the pretty place. Gurgle… They go to pretty place.” He stood and she saw that his back legs ended in hooves.
“So where is this Pretty place?” She asked as she headed back to the office.
“Preety place has water round it. Master take floaty thing.” He said happily. He seemed so much happier not to be alone.
She lead him all the way to the office and collected her brother and her stuff. She needed to do some more research and find more things to make this adventure. She took out a blanket and carefully arranged it around Creature. She wasn’t sure how people might react to him. She then left the lab to head back to her friends place. She needed to prepare more. But she had an idea of what she was looking for. Creature followed looking around all excitedly. It was his first time out of the lab. This was new and a little frightening. The sun was bright. As they passed a strange shop Estoria stopped and went in.
Sirius and Creature sat outside the shop as Estoria went inside. They watched her through the window.
Estoria grabbed a few books she wanted. One of them was on werewolves. She needed to know what that bite and scratch might mean for her brother. She needed all the information she could get. She was not going to be unprepared. She left the shop and gathered her brother and Creature. They made their way back to her friends home and there she carefully cleaned Creature, her brother and herself up. She then fed her brother Creature and herself a full meal.
Then she let the boys play as she sat down to read. She needed to read up. On book she got was on werewolves, one was about the area, And the final one was about spells that might help them along their way. She new this adventure might lead somewhere she might not like. This was going to be a hard and perhaps dangerous trip. She wanted to be prepared. Or at least as prepared as she could be.
