I am Chihana no Akasuna, the Blood Flower of the Red Sands..and this is my side of the story ..a story that while shocking is quiet true, and while some may wonder if I am callous, this tale has changed me...perhaps more so than i know.

Rank 1, Part 1. a Strange Request.

I ponder if i would have even got up that morning, if i knew then what i would find out in the days to come, but I get ahead of myself, It was early morning on a misty summer's day when i recieved a messenger, strangely with a message for Me of all those i live with, the message was simple but peaked my interest simply saying
" Ms,Akasuna,
I find myself in need of some assistance and your name came up, in relation to this debacle of mine.
Please come to my, Residence at 13666 Silent Row, and feel free to bring a friend.
Sincerely Rosemary.
P.s.: For you assistance i might be able to help you procure that goblet of blood you've been wanting to get perhaps? ".
I admit i may have been Too quick to agree, especially since there were few things my name would come up for, but i was too excited at the idea of Finally being able to be a vampire. I considered this Rosemary's mention of bringing a friend..other than Chirin i didn't really Have friends.. then i heard someone step up behind me.. glancing back i was treated to the sight of one of the two ninja i lived with..Amane Chiya No Fuuhania, not a Friend per say but i was pretty sure i could get her to agree to come.. so with a innocent smile i asked the enigmatic ninja to escort me...
Amane considered me a moment before darting forward and snagging the letter from my grip quickly scanning it before i could say something, before she spoke " you realize this is likely a trap yes?..i would hope that is Why your asking me along..but i will merely accept it is more likely you were following the suggestion of this letter.." i was a Little insulted but..Amane wasn't considered the nicest of the group, but she had agreed..and id be safe with a ninja..right?.

Amane and I made our way to the address, knocking on the door of the only building that looked frequented enough to be lived in we waited before a grey and dark red..almost blood splatter looked sphinx female opened the door, she was wearing a surgical mask and only one eye was clearly visible a lovely teal coloring..though i swore i saw a flash of red from behind her white colored hair,she was one of those somewhat rare sphinxes that had wings and horns and i was mildly surprised by that, she invited us in quickly seeming a little too interested in me looking back.
She thankfully was the sort to come to her reason for having us there instead of meaningless small talk, explaining that she needed us to find her Father, a Doctor Vune, since he had somewhat vanished in the middle of some work they were doing, I tried very hard at the time to not wonder on what work that could be, and she went on to explain she had asked for me since she recalled her Father mentioning a Akasuna when talking about one of his projects, I was surprised, since most of my family was nowhere nearby far as i knew, and id certainly not been here before..right?
Amane quickly got us back on track asking where we should look and Rosemary gave us two locations she was sure he would be at one of them, and she insisted if i did this for her shed repay both myself and Amane for the help, me with helping me secure an Immortal life, and Amane with whatever shed like.. i wasn't going to ask about, and thank Bastet Amane didn't ask either what she meant by a "custom guy", We left soon after agreeing to look for this Doctor, admittedly by this point it wasn't Entirely the offered reward that had my interest since i now wanted to know why this Doctor was saying My last name...and I would find out.

Rank 1, Part 2 : Hit and Miss..

It did not take us long to get to the first place, the one we knew the location of, Vune's Mansion, however we found it wasn't as..abandoned or occupied as we would have liked,we were treated to horrific visages of creatures, some looked to have been made from Sphinxes and other creatures, others seemed to have perhaps been bred in horrifying twists of nature, before we could decide what to do something knocked both of us out..

I wasn't certain what we should do as we headed through the rather..Charming..city of Crux, having woken away from the mansion with rather spotty memories only vaguely recalling that something bad had been at the mansion and we shouldn't go back, so we moved on to find the lab..the hidden one..and in that moment a crazy did-that-seriously-happen-moment occurred,
I was forced to dodge into a side alley by a pair of brawling pirates and a city guard trying to break up the fight..Tripped over a broken cement block and fell into a rotted plank cover over a part of the sewer..which broke from my weight, Thankfully the drop wasn't too bad and this portion of sewer was oddly..dry.. Chirin's light helped me orient myself, and looking around i noticed the area looked rather Too clean as well, calling up to Amane about that fact, the Ninja, instead of helping me out jumped in with me commenting that if we had to find a hidden laboratory..what better place to start.
..Smug ninja..grr....We searched the clean sewer pipe until by Chirin's light, Amane noticed a out of place wall and after a moment managed to get the wall to swing out revealing a passage, she tilted her head and, before i could cheer that we had found the place, she pointed out that this was a old town with a lot of people who didn't want to be found easily..and hidden passages were a good way to hide, We still went through the passage to explore..I think Amane sort of wishes we hadn't continued on this Request..

Rank 1, part 3: Found it! but did we really want to?..

We navigated the passage quickly..and the few splits from the passage, which were somewhat submerged not too far from the main passage, after a few minutes walk along the silent and mildly damp though not moldy, passage we came to a steel door coated in a layer of dirt..it was locked, and i was starting to consider having us stop now since locked steel doors don't exactly get kicked down, but then a soft click occurred, i looked back expecting Amane to have picked it or some other such thing..only to see a grinning Chirin settled on the door handle, i wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth so i quickly moved over, thanking Chirin before shoving the door open enough for myself and Amane stepping in with a haughty walk since surly the Doctor would be there..but no..he wasn't..but i wish there hadn't been anything..
Amane came in after a moment inquiring about the lack of my nagging the Doctor and stopped short as well , i was glad this was a shock to the ninja also.. the area we had entered was lined with vats and there were vats standing in the middle of the room..with floating parts in them..some of the vats contained clearly dead things, others had parts still..moving, even Chirin, who was usually the first to brush something off was looking a bit stricken. I snapped out of it first heading further into the room, leaving Amane behind while she came to the coping point as i looked in morbid fascination heading along i noticed what looked to be a second room with a clear panel..an office perhaps.. i started to head for it but a dull thud caught my attention,,

Rank 2, part 1 : What is actually Mercy?..

I turned my attention to the dull thud, only to come face to face with one of the vats, and the creature within, determined stubborn and perhaps a little feral golden-orange eyes stared back at me from a canine face, dark green antlers sprouted above his, or so i would find out later, brow, his fur was a oil black with strange mis matched neon yellow stripes along his back and dark silver splashes that looked mercury like in color, on his back were a pair of disturbingly Cactifly looking wings, and his back legs looked like a Cactifly's also, his tail was that of a scorpion its tip splashed with acid yellow coloration, another thud and i register that the creature..monster..sphinx? was indicating the office.
I head to the office trying to not focus on the hybrid like being i had just been looking at, finding the room filled with medical tools, books, twine, pieces of metal, needles for sewing leather, and a crude lever panel with numbers on it, i noticed a thick hand bound book with slanted writing on the front labeled as an Itinerary, i moved and flipped it open quickly flipping to the last entry and finding " Ship to my Island secured, leaving 12:30 on the eighth day of the Heb Bastet festivities" that was tomorrow! but way..a previous entry " taking boat trip to my island, holding off on returning until end of the Festival, securing a ship for anyone who manages to find my laboratory".
I wasn't sure what to think, but another soft thudding causes me to glance up remembering the still alive, and apparently alert creature stuck in a vat, i was surprised to see Amane was now near the vat looking at the creature, the thud had been the creature securing itself enough so it wasn't bobbing in the vat, i wasn't sure if it was a stare down of fascination, but either way i moved to the panel of levers calling to mind what vat number it was before pulling the lever.
I had been figuring to have Amane put the creature out of its misery..it surely couldn't be fine with its form right? well she shot that down..yes Amane, her exact words were " you brought me along without paying me, I can claim what i wish, he is my payment from You.." then she moved to help the creature roll onto it's stomach as it coughed, I wasn't so sure this was a good idea but she was the one with the sword..and to find out what was going on we did need info..

Rank 2 part 2.Where even Ninja fear to go..

In truth I thought Amane maybe had a crush on the strange creature..still do actually, I think its the antlers..oh well, anyway, i collected the books that might give more information about the island form the office..including the itinerary, while Amane helped the slow to acclimate form liquid to air creature, slowly helping it out the door of the laboratory, and i was quick to follow her, not liking how that grouping of eyeballs in a vat seemed to follow me..
We escaped the sewers, Amane helping us navigate to an inn and, thanks to her ninja skills get us inside without the creature being seen,
We, Amane and i, after she had put the Creature in a bed to rest, looked over the info, Amane stating it was time to stop looking into this, this was clearly a set up and would get us killed, and that she would tip the guards off to the labs location, though she said nothing about the Creature she had claimed..I told her i agreed but that i was going to read these books and such and see if i could find out why Rosemary had asked Me to help, she gave me this look..like she knew i wasn't agreeing fully, but let it be when there was a noise form the Creatures room, causing the ninja to go check on the antlered sphinx hybrid, and I got to work reading, with Chirin's help, thank goodness for a resident scholar back home teaching anyone in the home that didn't know how to read to do so..


Rank 2 part 3: By Ill Moon's light..

As dawn's light broke the horizon of mist I placed away the hand written journal which had been tucked into a false book back, a good number of the pages had been ripped out, but enough info was present for me to find out that the island in question was only able to be found by Full Moons light, like a were island..I had some time before the departure time..yes I was really going to go into a very likely trap..but i had to know what was going on, how was my family involved? they pretty much didn't leave the homeland...
Chirin and i packed a few things and money and got out of the inn, instead of the ways Amane had shown we went out the front, Least likely way we would go when trying to dodge a ninja right?..by some luck it worked and my fairy and i escaped the inn heading into the towns market district, thin streets shadowed unless it was midday but the shops already up and running serving to the not so sun loving folk,and those that hunted the vampires, i moved about collecting a few items i hoped would help, rope, some food and water,a compass, flint and tinder and a small knife.
I passed the time keeping out of sight and near the Crux docks, nearing the departure time i stepped onto the docks asking about the ship i was supposed to find the "Fading Glory" some gave me uneasy looks others turned and just walked away, i finally managed to pin down a teenager who worked at the docks and, for a few coins, get the dock i needed, i rushed due to little time left, and made it barely in time, the ship was small..small enough that there was only one person to control the vessel, which was not promising of comfort to me since it would be a few hours to navigate to the island apparently...

Rank 2 part 4: The Hourglass is turned, an hour later through shadows..

Despite my worries the travel was disturbingly smooth.. the waterway between myself and the island, for i hadn't found out if it was a sea, lake or very large river, mirror like with spires of rock being the only reason it took so long to get near the area for the Island.
Suppose it was a little To easy... as night fell and the moon began to rise strange cacophonies of sounds..howling noises, twisted screams..surly some sort of bird right? broke the still silence, as a thick fog rolled in..and as the fog came in as though someone was lifting a veil from view a dark forest island came into view, a tower..perhaps a lighthouse speared above the forest, unlit and not helpful at all.
The noises were somewhat unsettling me not, but id seen some rather strange sphixnes so it was probably fine..I turned to ask the ship captain about the island..only to find the captain gone..and the ship heading right for some rather nasty looking rock, Did i mention i hate water? but i was forced to abandon ship or try and dodge rocks.. so into the water i go...bit of envy for Chirin since she was able to just fly out of the way, after a few minutes paddling i made it to shore, shaking off my soaked pelt, and wringing my dress out i checked my supplies, finding id lost my compass and the steel striker for my flint, just my luck, i finally looked around seeing a rather strangely well maintained pathway, a few sounds were sounding a little closer now... so i decided to follow the path quickly, Chirin shining brightly with her dark blue light zipping along beside me as i bounded quickly along the trail hoping to find somewhere relatively safe to figure out what to do Now...and really hoping this "Doctor Vune" was here and id be able to get him to go back..and take me with him otherwise...this would be one of those " I told you so" moments..
I kept walking, half running when something sounded too close, Chirin forced to take breaks on my head as her wings tired out, finally salvation. Of a sorts.. a old gate, opening onto the grounds of a manor...that had lights on in the windows!, I was ecstatic and rushed through the gate heading to the front door, checking myself over when i was in front of the door and smoothing out my outfit and hair before tugging the doorbell which released a sharp peal of sound that was more reminiscent of a cannon firing then a bell..after a moment the door opened...

Rank 3, PArt 1: Meet Doctor Vune and The moment when you don't want to be polite..

The opening door revealed, i was rather thankful, a sphinx, he was a dark red color with black markings, white hair, and brown eyes wearing a monocle and white coat, looking back i realize he wasn't surprised to see me, at the time i was just happy to see a, apparently, friendly face.
The sphinx introduced himself as Doctor Vune ushering me inside as he spoke, " Oh my you look exhausted, I am Doctor Vune, come in come in, lets get you warmed up, might i know your name young lady? come, come.." Vune herded me into a sitting room with a fireplace, a butler, or so i vaguely identified, wearing a mask held a tray with two mugs of hot liquid..i would say tea but..not so sure anymore..
He settled me in front of the fire and I introduced myself, he gained this almost..giddy look after i said my last name Akasuna, before i could ask him anything he was offering me one of the mugs the butler had on a platter, rather parched form my run i accepted..plus it was polite, but it also kept me distracted long enough for him to start talking about the island being inhabited by strange creatures that were most active at night..which was also one of the few times the island was visible, if it was a full moon, he went on to explain that he was studying the creatures of the island trying to classify them and find if any would make good company for the everyday sphinx, he started to go on about some of the species he had found on the island, and named himself since he identified them, meanwhile i was sipping my drink and trying to puzzle out why he seemed vaguely familiar to an extent..not like id met him physically. Something else...
After a lot more talking on his part a soft gong sounded, and he informed me it was dinner time, he insisted i join him and his guests, i debated saying no but..he had been nice enough to let me in..and it was late.. so i agreed, also hoping i could ask him how he knew my family over the dinner, and it wasn't exactly a happy thought to consider going outside right now..plus i had no way off the island myself..
Dinner was a strange affair, both the food and guests, the small talk enough , especially since a few of the guests spoke to me, keeping me from questioning Doctor Vune, I wasn't entirely sure about the guests, a couple wore masks, or partial ones,one guest was certainly a vampire, though oddly subdued seeming, another of the guests Seemed fairly normal but occasional from the corner of my eye i could have sworn her hair moved on its own picked up food and then shoved it into the back of her head..Vune seemed fairly relaxed and unconcerned by the oddity, though when i saw the meal..or most of it, I got the feeling it was all normal for the eccentric, and possibly crazy Doctor, there were fruits, breads and cooked grains as well as something that looked like cheese that was fairly normal..then there was the strange dishes, oddly colored meats, an assortment of eyes from various creatures..thankfully none human or sphinx as far as i could tell, tureens of blood and various strange liquids as well as cooked insects.. swallowing my want to go careening out from some of that things which i could have Sworn twitched, i ate what i could manage to not think too much on, though mid meal it wasn't so hard as the a couple of the guests conversations with me got uncomfortably.. strange and with a level of familiarity i wasn't expecting, One even asking how my family was doing just as the meal ended, Adjourning, with the guests and the Doctor, to the sitting area, i finally got the chance to ask Doctor Vune about getting back to Crux, and about how he knew my family...

Rank 3 part 3: Never answering letters from a Reanimator again..

Doctor Vune gave me a soothing calming smile before informing me that unfortunately, it would be a few days before a ship would come to the island to take everyone to Crux, but that I was welcome to stay and explore to my hearts content, as to my question of how he knew my family, he gave me this strange smile, that for once made me really wish id listened to Amane, before stating that was a conversation for another night as it was quiet late.
Before i could say much a butler was ushering me out, and up the stairs to the bedrooms leaving me out-front of a door before i could ask anything of the butler, left alone i went inside finding the room rather tastefully decorated, sharing a look with Chirin i sat on the bed looking at the small fairy before speaking softly " I really stepped in it didn't i?.. here's to hoping that Amane will maybe send help..though i don't know her really..so i doubt it...".
Chirin chimed gently patting my head before fluttering about the room exploring as i removed my outfit settling into the bed, but before i could fall asleep a sharp chime from Chirin catches my attention, and sitting up i saw her flutter over to me carting a letter that seemed hastily written, i opened the letter Chirin's light enough to read by only gaining, at the time a bit more confusion at the letters words..
" Akasuna , I don't know your first name..but i recognized you to an extent, I haven't the time to write much so please try to figure out what i managed to write, Don't drink the "tea" secondly under the greenhouse stairs, press the panel of the fourth step and slide it to the left, third ill help you if i can, you shouldn't end up with the same fate..." The letter cut off without much else and it worried me, the same fate? same fate as what? or whom?..i would find out i guess...

Rank 3 part 4: an ally in the dark, and Fond memories.

Morning woke me, it wasn't the song of bird, nor even a lot of sunlight,...it was the sudden lack of loud sounds and cries to which I had fallen asleep to, I had a slight headache and a dryness to my mouth as i slipped out of bed moving to the bathroom, Chirin still asleep I did my morning rituals, sipping some of the water there as the words of the letter drift into my mind, and I was too thirsty to have considered not drinking something..
stepping out and getting dressed, noting my outfit seemed like it had been cleaned, a little eerie since i hadn't heard anyone enter the room, i woke Chirin before exiting the room carefully and heading downstairs, finding only two of the other guests there chatting over a normal breakfast meal, I settled in quietly a bit away from the chatting pair carefully picking out foods and water ignoring the tea, while making sure to feed Chirin who was still half asleep..lazy fairy..
I finished quickly before slipping away, not noticing a servant sweeping nearby watching me go.

I moved through the mansion slowly exploring and trying to find the greenhouse, getting a little frustrated before I spotted one of the servants, or so id dubbed them, staring at me from one of the halls, he looked like he Could be a vampire but the flush to his skin indicated he was alive.. a bird like head, colored like a ravens but crested adorned the sphinx, shiny pupil-less red-violet eyes almost hypnotic in a way caught my own golden colored eyes, his fur a a dark brown almost black with a golden sheen to it and a few yellow bands of color around his legs and around his neck jsut below the feathers, he bore a reptile like tail strangely.., the Gryphon like sphinx was the one who broke the staring moving off down the hall he was standing in subtly glancing back then continuing quickly along stopping at the end of the hall...until i moved to follow causing him to carefully continue walking...and follow i did, the gryphon like sphinx reminding me of a wooden carved puppet my older brother had carved for me when i was younger..and he lived at home instead of traveling..The Gryphon like sphinx finally stopped letting me get closer, he stood in front of a glass door that..led into a garden! the green house probably considering the spiral staircase inside, I looked at him surprised but before i could ask if he was the one who had warned me he darted off, and after a moment i heard footfall so i slipped carefully into the greenhouse heading towards the staircase, Vune had said i could explore as i wished, and i intended to do so.. and find out what was going on...

Rank 3 part 5: The Hourglass shattered, and Unshed tears..

I quickly found the fourth step, and pushing from behind activated the trap door, a portion of floor behind me swinging up out of the way to reveal a stairwell down, prodding Chirin awake fully so she could light up more I headed down, a kernel of dread finding its way into my heart, the trapdoor above begins swinging closed behind me as i walk, Chirin lighting the metal covered passage way, unnoticed to me a black brown and yellow falcon dropping silently through the opening just before the passage closed completely, its bright red-violet eyes glittering in the darkness as it glided silently after me, not that i was aware of it.. too focused on the growing feeling that i would not like what i would find...
The passage opened fairly quickly to a medical style office, files and such strewn on a desk, as well as a entire wall of monitors noticeable none were on, which mentally i supposed was a good thing..i slowly moved along into the next room, not seeing the Falcon perch on the desk..
I explored slowly, looking at the rooms for "patients" mercifully empty, a room for "acquisitions" also empty though a tuft of hair that looked a Lot like the "guest" whose hair was moving's was stuck in one of the hinges.. finally i came to the last, for me, it was actually the second door in the area i merely was,..getting a feeling of that door being what would reveal all, the " Storage" room..
I worked up the nerve and opened the door and stared, piles of neatly folded clothes shelved carefully, other items stored in boxes, and vat like freezing units set into the floor... swallowing I moved slowly looking until I found the reason...the reason for my uneasy..the reason for Doctor Vune knowing my family..Freezing vat # 34...Selcis Massress No Akasuna..My older brother.

Rank 3 part 6: The Blood Flower Blooms, Dance of the Red Sands.

I stared, I couldn't process, Couldn't believe what I was seeing, one of the reasons I chose to leave the homeland, The very reason I had the confidence to say I wouldn't be a ninja... was laying here dead, his face pale, his short red hair dulled with ice, his eyes closed and his chocolate brown ruby and sand yellow calico pelt coated in ice indicating he had been there awhile, looking closer stiches ran along the top of his head, and i notice that he wasn't in an outfit but a blanket like gown, his abnormally long tail wasn't visible and suspiciously there wasn't any sign of it or one of his back legs.. and I blanched in horror the memories of approaching Vune's mansion coming back in a sudden flicker, a pair of oddly familiar gold-brown eyes a very long tail but on an unfamiliar face and form..
I chocked a bit Chirin panicking a bit before i finally calmed myself enough to tear my gaze away moving off to the items area my face becoming emotionless and my eyes dull and cold, I quickly found the drawer of items that were my older brothers belonging, collecting them in my bag carefully, stopping when i picked up a small puppet carved to look like a wooden butterfly cat, expertly carved, I set that aside for the moment before pulling out another item that made me stop..it was a picture..not of the family since id already found that..this showed a group of sphixnes..including my brother...and someone that looked suspiciously like Vune, i shuddered putting the items in my bag then picking up the butterfly cat looking puppet staring at it then furrowing my brow before extending a claw and carefully making a shallow slash along one of my arms lightly coating the back of the puppet, then slowly..the wings twitched and the puppet fluttered its wings coming to life, my tail curled up as the puppet fluttered to it perching and stilling, i quickly exited the room debating trying to blow the place up..but deciding it would be better if i didn't possibly take myself out... letting out a soft growl since that also meant i had to be careful about confronting Vune..
The black Falcon was waiting for me, finally i noticed it staring startled at it before it took wing and landed on my shoulder easily..I was numb..too numb to ponder it at the moment as i walked out leaving the horror behind, coming to the start of the passage I considered it trying to figure out how to open it..until the black falcon hopped off and changed becoming the gryphon like sphinx , he didn't speak merely pushing a piece of the stair causing the hatch above to swivel before he exited waiting above as I stepped out, the hatch swinging shut before finally.. the gryphon like sphinx spoke, his voice slightly rough from dis-use but a deep baritone that went along well with how he looked " The Doctor has a ship hidden in a cavern harbor... It is always prepared to go incase the hybrids band together and attempt to attack the Doctor...It does not take much to navigate it out..and by magic it will automatically home in on Crux once out of the cavern.." he informs soft enough to not startle me, I looked at him, i wondered why hed help me...then part of me wondered a moment..if my brother hadn't been a "storage section" candidate at first.. I swallow but nod thinking before speaking*..I want to know what happened... will you wait to lead me to the Cavern until iv confronted Vune?..." I requested, not overly hopeful that hed agree, but those soothingly hypnotic eyes gazed at me with understanding and he nodded stepping away before with a flutter of feathers a black falcon took off..
I headed inside navigating my way towards the sitting room i had first been shown to, My anger an ember, my fury cold, and my sorrow banked for now.

Rank 3 part 7: The Final Bell,To Crux!

I waited in the sitting room, only having water, and after the butlers second attempt to give me tea, my glare apparently scared him off.. hours passed my tail occasionally swishing, causing the butterfly-cat puppet to twitch and flutter, before finally pawsteps entered the room, and a sharp gasp of recognition, I looked back with what would probably be called dead eyes looking at Vune, who had recognized the small puppet, Behind Vune a couple butlers held platters of snacks and drinks.. and a few of the other guests were also there, most confused by the apparent confrontation.
I stared at Doctor Vune before asking in a emotionless tone " Why did you kill him?.. didn't you work together?" Vune shifted a bit before stepping forward a bit with a placating gesture and speaking " I didn't intend for him to actually die, we were trying to find another way for immortality. Similar to the Ka spirits..but without the small statue..a physical construct for the spirit to inhabit and move that reacts as a real form would without the decay..it works for flesh and bone! it just hasn't worked for wood and clay constructs like your brother wanted.. it was an accident.. we were trying to test out a new adjustment to the wood and clay version, im sure you understand..your brother said you were very smart.. if we work together im sure we can fix the process and bring him back..."
I will be honest..I thought about it..but when i did i saw his eyes in another's face...the words written by the hauntingly handsome gryphon sphinx..and i knew it wouldn't work..and that my brothers death was perhaps more planned than was being implied, and so i spoke once more.. " My brother. Would have taken more precautions than would be needed before trying anything..and his death did not mean you could desecrate his remains..If you hadn't had killed my brother.. I probably would have helped you..but now?..The bell tolls.." I swished my tail forward causing the puppet to surge forward and start battering at Vune as i darted around him and past the stunned butlers and guests, the puppet jerking after me as i hit the range limit I exited the building quickly looking for the black and yellow falcon, worrying that it wouldn't be there then...the telltale red-purple eyes I took off following them, and thus escaped...

*the crimson gold and black sphinx sighs a slight scar ran along under her right eye* you want to know what happened next huh?...ok...

Rank 3 part Completion: You were Right Amane, Rosemary's warning.

Arriving in Crux as soon as i stepped off the ship the green haired Amane was on me in a second hissing about stupid arrogant vampire wannabes while checking me for injuries, the gryphon sphinx stayed back amused before shifting and taking wing gliding high above..after a minute or two I finally got Amane to back off by telling her she was right, but that In a way I had to go.. Im not sure what stopped her, me saying she was right..or the tired and probably a bit haunted look in my eyes.. either way she nodded and helped me back to the inn, i decided id inform Rosemary of my findings the next day.. after a nap..
The next day I made my way once more to 13666 Silent row knocking on the door to Rosemary's abode, she opened the door, seeming a little surprised, but before she could usher me in I spoke " I found your father on his secret..or Was secret island..I found out what happened, and I found out about his experimenting work...im not coming in..im not chancing having a drink or something with you..." My tail flicked sharply "Ill find a goblet or someone to turn me on my own, considering you did hire me this is also a warning, the City guard, and probably Nightwatch have been alerted of this address.. " I was about to move before Rosemary struck and gave me this little reminder.. *she indicates the scar before continuing* her actions were probably on the fact that she wouldn't have a lot of time to move much if anything but escape herself.. making it so she would lose a good portion of her supplies and notes most likely.. instead of staying to get upset or let Rosemary rant at me..I just turned and left and headed back towards the inn, looking up as i did and seeing the silhouette of a bird..perhaps it was just a regular crow.. but in my mind i saw red-violet eyes.. *the female sphinx finishes telling her story stands and moves away clutching a butterfly cat puppet, a few tears falling as she walked away to her room.*
