Travel from his own distant kingdom to Lander had been a bit arduous. Originally he thought that he may be able to offer some input to the council about how his kingdom could benefit from their aid... though inwardly he harboured dreams of being the one able to pull the Sword of Kings from is stone. It was during his journey the first tales of Dragon attacks had begun to spread, putting everyone on edge. He was no stranger to Lander and the affect these rogue dragon attacks where having was easily apparent. Increased patrols, an influx of adventurer types and every Sphinx oft looking to the sky for dread shadows.  He stood nearby and watched the Dragon Slayers train and test themselves... it had not always been this way, at least in recent decades. The dragons of Mal..Mal'tolgalen, he wondered if he'd pronounced that right, tended to keep to themselves. Draconic Sphinxes were not wholly uncommon in Albion either but this rash of attacks was putting a strain on the relationship... such that is was, more of a mutual 'you do your thing and we'll do our thing' as far as he knew. Ah, well, it did seem like building defenses was in order... but perhaps, he thought hopefully, some sort of diplomacy may still be an option.
