*braces for the storm* I don't think most of you near this huge storm zone but if you are stay safe and warm, (-8 If you're not in it, you're probably not getting all the warnings constantly, but most of Ontario and Quebec are bracing for some record weather (like 30' waves for Lake Ontario! that's like some crazy Hawaii style waves, not lake waves!) and everywhere south of us has already closed up shop for the tonight/tomorrow and maybe the weekend. There is gonna be almost guaranteed power failures all over as well (a huge rainstorm, turning into a massive blizzard with 100K wind gusts = broken trees and power lines for sure!) Where we are, we'll prob be spared the worst of it, but with big power outages expected everywhere if we disappear for a bit, that'll prob be the reason!
also, just sayin', don't worry about us. We're just on the edge of things, have enough tea and cream to last a couple weeks as well as a few back up batteries in case we lose power, (-8 Even if we got snowed in and the power goes out, we'll be safe, warm and snacking on Yule treats, (-8 (and probably be roleplaying by candlelight, (-8)
...and now back to my Sphinx project, (-8

The wind rose howling and freaked all the animals out. Patches even lashed out and he has not done that since he was introduced. Heck he protects Amaya at all costs usually. Not sure what the higher ups will say about closing early, but we'll just play it by ear. Would be nice if we could get out early so that we're all safe, but we'll see. Right now it's not doing anything, so I'm hoping that maybe I can have some luck and get down to work dry. I have gifts to deliver at work XD |

So much snow! so far we're dodging the worst of the storm, just getting lots of snow (a few feet last night and more non stop today, tonight and tomorrow prob). .. fortunately we've got no where to go for days, I'm just watching it pile up.
