Fern and her new traveling companion scout around, but then made camp for the night. Perched up in a tree they slept til morning called. After a quick breakfast, they continued onward to search area 1920

Eska graciously accepted the gift from the Sphinx before parting ways to search 1907 (or 2006 if 1907 isn’t touching the river. I’m having a tough time telling)

Thalia turned her map two ways before deciding it would be easier to simply travel across the land than following the river back to the split and heading back up.
Tucking her wings she kept her head down and slowly made her way through 3609

You find a beautiful spring orchard in full flowery bloom with some People of the Deer camped here for a spring eel run. They only stay here in spring and fall for fishing and follow elk herds in summer and winter.

You may travel on or you may skip a turn to help out netting eels with the group!

This larger village is hosting a guest delegation of artists from the People of the Raven and celebrating an upcoming marriage! The local Chieftess had met a young People of the Raven male while on one of her extended hunting adventures in the north east and invited him to join her as one of her husbands. The guest artists have been commissioned to create a totem pole which describes the intermingling of families in order to honor the marriage, preserve the history and be a spiritual guardian for the young husband to be and his new relations.

Several other People of the Raven are here for the upcoming celebrating but a few were simply helping out. It was a monumental task bringing the incredibly enormous log half way across the world for the carvers which required dozens and dozens of strong Sphinxes!

Having come across such a lovely event, Ambrose was overjoyed for the happy couple despite not knowing them. He offered to help however he could and decided he would very much like to stay for the celebration! After all, such a lovely thing to come across in his journey for inspiration had to be the best omen, right?

A small camp of Star Nation Members, mostly People of the Bison, are set up here to harvest watercress and cattails from a series of bountiful ponds. A striking monument stands seemingly out of place near the camp... a great pile of gleaming polished stones form a large mound which is caped by a huge draconic skull with curving ram-like horns. Storytellers from the camp nearly race to tell the epic tale of one mighty heroine who slew the ebony scaled beast that used to terrorize these lands, freeing the local people but also scarring the heroine nearly beyond recognition... The tale lends itself to local superstitions of acceptance regardless of appearance and it is extremely taboo to judge others on how they look in these parts!

One of the plainswomen is helping with the harvest, but really the monotony of gathering is grating on her nerves a bit... especially when an another adventurer shows up reminding her of what she's missing. She'd be happy to join your travels if you need a warrior!
