Say My NameWhile we don't have time for a full tour, one thing you need to know about Sone is that the people who live there are artists. It's a harsh, hard and war blasted place which would have been left as a literal dump after the Dragon Empire conquered the place and ripped what resources they could before abandoning it and it's few remaining people. A single Dragon from the original invaders couldn't get enough of the place though and moved herself in as the Emperor, ruling over the last few cities and even leaving one zone to live as the people did before the war in bloody metal harmony. The characters are not in that place. The People of Sone had to rebuild and had nothing but ruined cities, crashed starships and spent munitions... which was plenty for the musical and artistic people to get started with. While some consider the place a backwater, it's culture seeps out in it's two major exports, art and music. Most people on the planet participate in either art or music and everyone has been in a band at some time, just for the passion and love of it. Working twelve hours a day in the empires factories is bearable knowing you will have a chance to raise your voice to the gods and scrape the heavens with your guitars!
Nearly everyone has a name... No, what I mean is most people create their own backstory, history and epic stories to live by. You might have been born a Jim or a Mary, but those names get lost to history when you find your real name... The second most important part of living on Sone is participation in everyone else's art. There is a part of you that knows that Khorvan the Executioner, ie. the guy who works at the steak and fry shack, probably doesn't actually work as an executioner and also maybe doesn't keep an small army of demons in is basement at his beck and call, but who would be the dead hearted jerk to mess with his story? You just ask him how his demons are and order your fries. He in turn is gonna inquire about your wicked concert shirt, face tattoo or guitar with daggers welded to it and when you explain your own backstory he will not question it but throw you some devil horns and tell you how awesome you are and ask where he can get a copy of your music.
Life on Sone might suck a lot more if everyone wasn't together on this one... and outsiders will learn these lessons quickly.

Add some backstory if you wish, I mean you already just quit a concert to jump in a random portal because some Viking Goblin interrupted your show so there's that...
