The day was bright; sun and clouds hanging above in steady motion lazily. The great park was usually bustling, but not today. Everyone else seemed to have gotten home or gone somewhere else for unknown reasons. Either way, an incredibly gold sphinx seemed rather content. He went by the name of Zeoyn; lazing around and rolling on his back to bask his glittering belly to the sky. "It was good to be a dragon," he thought, "other wise how else would I just enjoy this sun?" Something flickered in the back of his mind as he lazed away. Something he felt like he needed to finish... "Now then, I'll just do it later. A quick spell or two and I'll remember..." he drifted off into a nap, slowly forgetting everything around him on such a peaceful day. (OCC: I'll be adding more characters later. This should be interesting )

Acrisus sat at the edge of the park on top of one of the large building the bordered the park. After being forgotten by his acting troupe and abandoned in the city he tended just to glide around the roof tops watching people. But the day was very hot and although the breeze cooled him as he flew it also heated his body. Swooping down towards the fountain in the middle of the park he nearly flew into a tree as a flash of gold caught his eye. hovering slightly his inquisitive nature got the better of him and he flew in closer for a look.

A soft and distant flutter of wings bristle on the roof top distance. Zeoyn twitched his ear, cracking an eye open before rapidly muttering a spell. Bright thin lines of dark light shot straight for the hovering object, warping and sizzling past.
The dragon was now fully on his legs and looking straight up. Irritation passed his pupiless eyes as he called out, "Disrupting my nap wasn't a smart choice, fool. And I don't accept customers at this time of day. Even though they say such- you're not from here." Zeoyn finished, narrowing his eyes at the bright redness over head.

A large figure emerged from a dark corner shaded by trees in the park. Tucking his immensely sized wings in towards his spine, Thaddeus yawned sleepily and moseyed towards the fountain. Had he really just fallen asleep among the locals? ‘I must be growing too used to this place.’, he thought silently. Shaking his head, he nudged the thought aside. Due to his larger than normal stride he arrived at the edge of the fountain quite quickly. Slowly the soldier heaved himself up onto the ledge. He first glanced at his reflection. It had been days since he had bathed last, and a film of dust mixed with dirt and sand coated his face. This place was MUCH dirtier than where he came from, and though he was trained to enjoy no luxuries Thad couldn’t help but miss being clean. Or well cleaner than he was at the moment. He reached down into the pool as he bowed his head closer to the water, and splashed a hand-full up. He repeated twice. After pushing off of the ledge and sitting himself on the ground Thaddeus wiped his face. Feeling pleased with this, he smiled inward, keeping his hard exterior. Only then did his wandering eyes catch the winged golden figure and someone who looked to be from his home. He observed the two, watching the conflict rise slightly. This could be interesting. ((AH! Haven't RPd in a long time... Went a little crazy. XD ))

(OOC: Haha, no worries xD The more the merrier!))
Zeoyn sighed, shaking his head a little irritably. This red one didn't seem to be much of a talker. Perhaps he was in a state of shock, the dragon thought. That tended to happen now and then- others who've never crossed his path staring at him as if he were a large block of walking gold....
Actually, the description wasn't quite off. Still he wished they weren't all so dumb struck at times.
He let his eyes glance over towards the fountain in utter disbelief. Not another one, Zeoyn thought. Oh but wait, this one looked foreign too. He was the color of worn out gold and sand color. Now that was eye catching! Wiggling his eyes brows, he considered the opposing male. Maybe the muscular soldier could join his horde of treasure one day. Either that or add to it with whatever rank he was. "Might I suggest red to be a very distracting color, especially when one is trying to observe from afar?" He called out playfully before pausing; a thoughtful look flowing over his features. "If you want to see a show, I could always give you one."
Zeoyn grinned- it held something dark and playful. With an ushering of a few words, the magician sent a jolt of light and magic straight for the greek soldier. Maybe a small shock wouldn't hurt. Oh, and the dragon didn't intend to miss his target either.

Acrisus let out a squeal as something shot towards him. Landing with a slight thump, but on all fours, he shook his wing with small tendrils of purplish smoke coming from the tip. The edge was singed but was still able to be used. Looking towards the the person of his interest he bowed his head slightly. He simply nodded as he spoke about observe from afar.
"I did not mean to disturb you. It is true i am not from here." He paused looking over the golden male again "I have never seen any one with wings like yours and I was curious."
He flinched slightly as the golden one let loose another magic bolt this time towards another Greek like himself.

Zeoyn focused his attention back towards the red sphinx. He must've fallen out of the sky since he was now on the ground. "Of course not," he replied lazily, abandoning his previous harsh stance for a more laid back one, "I'm just that stunningly rare. Everyone's curious about me."
The sides of his mouth twitched, "But, as I try to disarm the muscular fellow over there, tell me your name. Foreigners aren't found to often in this dusty and green city."

He nodded his head remember in his manners. "I am Acrisus. For the great travelling troupe Greek fortune...but sadly they left a few days ago and I was lost in the city." Looking towards the other Greek he wondered what he would do he was a soldier known to be tough but how he would stand up to the magic he did not know. "My I know your name golden one?" he asked sheepishly wondering what he would do.

The magician's eye sparkled at Acrisus's tid bits of information. Loosing immediate in the greek soldier near bye, Zeoyn tilted his head quizzically, "Greek aye? I have a friend who dabbles here and there. Quite interesting woman she is..."
His mood seemed to darken however, when Acrisus mentioned about being lost. And I lost some precious nap time, Zeoyn thought with a small scowl. He flicked his tail in irritation, eye the ground and muttered something incoherently. When suddenly, he was struck with a rather intriguing idea.
"Oh, my name is Zeoyn. I have a proposition for you; since I know my way around here and possibly every where, I'll help you get back home. Maybe I'll take him too," Zeoyn motioned towards the greek soldier near by, "It looks like he needs to get home aswell. But in turn, you must help with some of these little errands of mine. For you see, even if I can do it alone, what fun would that be? What do you say?"
Zeoyn felt like applauding himself. This might have been a good turn of events. If the other agreed, then great! If not, then the magician would... actually, he didn't know what he'd do. Probably something grim if his mood darkened at the rejection.

Acrisus paused thinking deeply for a moment, the way Zeoyn spoke seemed to suggest something deeper. But then again this magician could fry him at any time He nodded slowly. "As i was so rudely disturbed you i feel it only right. i will do what i can to help"

Thaddeus didn’t have much time to react before the burst of light pinged his chest. He looked down at his rippling peck watched as a small patch of irritated skin grew redder and redder. ’Was that supposed to hurt?’ he thought. Shrugging he returned to the golden one’s words. There wasn’t really an answer needed so his words remained short.
“What sort of show?” He asked with only a little curiosity in his voice.
Looking back down at the sport where the magicians lightening struck him he rubbed the patch. ‘Ow. I guess it’s a gradual thing.’ He listened intently to the exchange between the other Greek and the golden magician. Home? Where was home? Surely he couldn’t return. Not without his troop. That would make certain of his demise. And then of course there was that female, the one who was trapped here in Khemet just as he was. He couldn’t leave her.
But the proposition intrigued him...

At the sound of crackling thunder this little anubis hound perked her ears, with a dash she sprinted to investigate leaving her companions at the time in the distance. The sound had dimmed away at half the way, and the little anubis sniffed around the ground hopefully, nothing. She sat down, ears twitching around. And sure enough, with patience a second sound emmerged and she was now certen where it came from. With another fast dash she headed into the direction, halting on a safe distance at the scent of unfamilier people ... Slowly tiptoing closer the clever hound first caught the glimpse of a golden sphinx, hard to miss after all. But swiftly she also discovered the other sphinxes present, curious the hound snuck closer and lay down under a bush. Laying her muzzle down she could take a safe peek just under the bush's bottom leaves, hoho she wonder if her master would be pleased with this.

Zeoyn's eyes brightened (more than they were already, if that were possible) at the commoner's reply. "Wonderful! Then we all shall go. But first, I have to... hrmm.."
The magician waved his arm, forming a small circle of light. He reached in and searched around until he felt something. "No, that's not right." He frowned when he pulled out a few animal bones. Followed by a few gold chains, some diamonds, dusted powder, feathers... At last, Zeoyn produced a statue about the size of a cat. He eyed with with some fondness, happy at his small achievement. Zeoyn grabbed it, letting the others have a look as well.
"This, right here is a Ka Statue. Great second plan if you ever plan to die. Or get accidentally killed." He smiled inwardly, ignoring the soldier's remark about some show.

Thaddeus observed the statue from the distance. He was still unsure about helping. After all he wasn’t getting anything out of this.
After hearing the magician’s words he furrowed his brow. This land was so STRANGE! A statue able to bring you back to life? Only gods were permitted to do such things in his land. Even the great prophets and oracles were leery to do such things without the direct permission from the gods. Yet a common magician in this land was claiming to be able to bring someone back with a statue? Strange, strange, strange.
Maybe he wasn’t such a ‘common’ magician. There were those wings...
Thaddeus nodded to himself. This intrigued him. Even if he got nothing from this experience, maybe he’d be lucky enough to run into one of his fellow lochos. There wasn’t much use in staying where he was constantly. If he was found not searching for his troop he’d be found of a capital crime, and punished accordingly.

Zeoyn removed his eyes from the statue, looking over to his company questioningly. Were they interested in helping him? Would they stick around for long? It didn't really though, since all he need was for them for a little moment.
Whatever, he thought. Getting up, the dragon brushed the dust and dirt from his tail. "Well now, I'll take your silent musings as a 'yes'. And so you will join me? The dead don't like waiting, you know, the very impatient kind."
Turning around, Zeoyn began to pad lightly in one direction, leaving the Great Park to it's peace and for the other two to hurry up and follow along.
