I find that interesting because a theif is simply a mesmer with no mass port >.> now personally I dislike heavy classes because they 'MUST BE META' in any game. Thats why I don't play them lol My Artificer isnt 'meta' persay but I literally scare the meta warfordged artificer types. They can do lots of melee sure(If I speced I could) but I out DPS them with RANGED xD I lol so hard. Same with my mes, I run a phantasm build for PvP/world bosses, a 'glamor bomb' for WvW/PvE. The amount of times I;ve tanked with my 'squishy' mes is amazing. Actually its just like my Artificer, hard to hit lol It's honestly because a starting assassin is hard to adjust to for me. I've been playing mesmer since GW1 -- So I'm used to them. I play some rangers as well but I mostly do well when I'm not an 'in your face' player. I suppose it's more support I do well as. And I've tanked several dungeons on my Mesmer -- which is odd when you consider how much squishier my mesmer is to Paul's assassin.. XD Just personal pref really. I've tried out three different assassin's on GW2 -- didn't like them any time so I scraped them before lvl 15. Not willing to put in the time I guess. I'm just being finicky. heh |

It never actually made me run fast when I would NEED it to. XD Just when I was running through the market etc, it would look glitchy and fast, like watching a DVD on fast-forward.  That would be the new ship buff I bought that gives +40% to movement speed in public places. You're welcome.  Aha. NOW I understand. XD On another note, I'm starting to have dreams where I'm running around in DDO. Someone help me, I think I've been infected!  |

Humm..
You know, I never was thrilled when they changed the sequence for epic gianthold to include that 1 quest Mr. Pooka knows I hate. I cant remember the quest name but there are different challenges including a maze, speed through the traps to get a piece, major traps underwater...yeah.
Id rather do the planes quest over and over and over..then again, I actually like that one xD

I must confess I was tempted into getting some more characters. This game is way more addictive than I anticipated. >.> My new additions are: Bryneth Grove (Shadar-kai) Mijathul Lokulfson (Male Shadar-kai this time) Purphixiel (Sun elf) When you have the chance of course, guild invites for these three would be greatly appreciated! (I also miss not being able to run uber fast when I play them >.>) These are the last ones from me now, I promise. *hides* XD |

I finally downloaded DDO onto my laptop. ^_^ So all added. There's a sale on character slots this week too!! And, I'm kinda excited about this, one of the mods offered to let me have a custom avatar on the DDO forums!  I was asking about name changes (I'm Luadrilae on there, and keep regretting signing up with a character name instead of my usual PookaWitch) and I was offered a custom avatar... something special on there, usually from huge donations or a big game prize. |

So apparently in the next patch some of the ship errors are supposed to be fixed, such as you should be able to finally bind to the actual binder in the banquet hall, and you'll wind up on the ship when you die like you're supposed to.
One of the updates is being able to name your guild ship! It says that you can only do it once for free... so I'm trying to think of a good name. Hmmm.

Mr. Pooka suggested 'Cookie' or 'the Cookie' or 'the Bed Ship' (Bed ship is a long joke with the older guild members. XD From a high level quest where you actually created an airship out of bookshelves and beds. We kept going on about how much we wish that we could make the guild ship a 'bed ship')

OMG! I seriously love that one. For a time I've been debating between 'the Cookie Jar' or 'the Bed Ship'... it was tough but the ship will be called 'the Cookie Jar'. XD (Phae'shalee was set up as the guild leader, since I need to have one of my characters being leader to own the guild... and I guess that so long as she's still the leader she's calling for cookie jar. lol ) If you guys seriously, seriously don't like it I can think about changing it (it will cost me some AS), but I love that name. ^_^ It suits the guild leader, is fun, a nod to Sphinx craziness, and has some fun innuendo. >.> |
