I hope everything is okay with the servers and the accounts that wouldn't come up. I know these things happen and hopefully they have things backed up properly. This does make me wonder how often they do back ups - with breeding and all, it should be regularly.

I've not seen PI crash like this that I can recall either. But I have seen some other sites have major database crashes. They are...not pretty. Hopefully with that secondary database to build from they can repair it more easily than others and not be down for days recovering...

Really, really hoping that accounts can be restored... that was my main account shown as deleted and the only one I'd had for most of my time on PI (7 years at this point), ALL of my PI stuff is there including all of my beloved ponies. @_@; My sub-account is just a small character account that houses my DC starters, not very many at that. I need my main account. D:

Saying there is a database issue could mean a lot of things (my boyfriend is a programmer, I asked him what it could mean).

From the backup board chatter though it sounds like they'll be able to fix it using data from the secondary database, but it will take several hours at least.
