Neteru gave a slightly sad smiled. "You are actually right, my childhood is part of the reason I am here. I came to Ahket originally to reconnect with a childhood friend, that I had not seen well.... in a long time."

"I'm sorry, it doesn't sound like that went well...but please, tell me your story, I'm listening." Wit smiled gently and settled in to listen.

She smiled watching him settle in to listen. Neteru was unsure about telling him everything, She did just meet him but she settled on telling him the shorter version and if he needed and clarification she would give it. "As I said I came to Ahket to reconnect with a childhood friend, One I had not seen in about five years." She paused and looked at him. "You see in the village where I was raised, it is customary to take what is referred to as a seeking quest at the age of fifteen. It is meant to be a journey of self to find ones true place in the world. Where you go and how long your gone usually varies a bit, some never return finding their place outside the village. My childhood best friend, Sabah, was one of the ones that never returned. I of coarse was sad but accepted it, though after a while I felt like I needed to reconnect with her. I missed her." She smiled at Wit. "It went as well as a surprise, hello I haven't seen you in five years visit could be expected I guess." Neteru laughed a bit.

[Moophles]

"I see I see...a bit sad though that you lost a friend for so long...you still seem a bit sad about it all though...I can only imagine how the visit went, really." He smiled, a bit chagrined. He settled a bit on his paws and looked thoughtful. "Perhaps you need a bit of cheering up? I can help you tour the city if you like! I know it very well and since you probably haven't been here very long...well...surely you'd like to see more of Ahket?" He had bounced to his feet, excited.

Neteru couldn't help but giggle sweetly as Wit suddenly bounced to his feet. "I would love to see more of Ahket, That sounds like a great idea." She said smiling as she stood and began to gather up her things. When she was done she looked at Wit. "Where should we start dear tour guide?" She asked giving him a sweet and playful smile.

"We shall start here, in the park and make our way through the market and then onto the temple district!" Wit grinned and gave a little hop of happiness. Her smile invigorated him in a way he couldn't quite describe...she just made him feel all kinds of giddy. "The temple district is beautiful, you'll love it after we manage to get out of the market place and away from it's boisterous occupants." Wit was just happy she had agreed to spend time walking around with him. He'd show her all the best spots!

Neteru was happy that she seemed to be making Wit happy. "It sounds lovely, I cant wait." She found it hard to believe she was agreeing to spend the day walking around with a stranger, even though he was a handsome stranger. She smiled to herself. Wit's giddiness seemed be infectious as Neteru found herself getting excited. "Well what are we waiting for come on lets go." She said grinning as she instinctively grabbed his paw with hers and lightly tugged him.

Wit grinned more and followed the tugging, taking her paw in his and leading her about the park, showing her the few good spots to lounge and sunbathe, or catch a good nap, then he took her out of the park and to the bustling Market district. "Watch your purse around here." He told her cautiously. He was a Golden Paw thief, he didn't really do business in the market, from patrons. Sometimes he did, if the market was full of nobility with heavy purses....but otherwise he stuck to the Noble quarter where he could get a good amount of gold and bring it back for the few orphanages he helped out with his thievery. He also kept a little for himself, but a guy had to eat after all.

Neteru loved seeing everything there was to see in Akhet, It was starting to make her trip her a bit more bearable. She smiled fondly at Wit as he pointed things out. "I will be careful." She stated smiling when he warned her to watch her purse. Neteru look around at the bustling market a bit overwhelmed by everything. Then her eyes caught a glimpse of a jewelry stall and Neteru lightly tugged Wit over to it. "My tail jewel broke on my trip here, I wanna see if I can find another one." She said as her eyes began to search the stalls wares.

"Oh of course, let's find you a really pretty one." Wit agreed and walked with her to the stall, looking around for a new tail jewel for her. There were a lot of shiny things here, but he wasn't finding anything- wait! He pulled one out and held it out to her, the pretty thing glinting in the light of the sun. "How about this one?"

Neteru looked over to the tail jewel Wit had held up for her, It was silver with a sparkling purple gem and was indeed pretty. She smiled, "I love it!" she exclaimed and promptly paid the stall owner for it. Looking down at herself she realized most of the jewelry she had on already was gold and that the would clash a bit but Neteru didn't mind. "Thank you." She told Wit as she took the tail jewel and clasped it to her tail. She looked at it fondly it would be forever connected to the memories she made today and her time with Wit. Neteru looked at Wit smiling happily "Where to now, my tour guide?" she said playfully.

"Wherever you wish to go, my lady." Wit bowed and chuckled, smiling at her from under his wisps of wavy brown hair. There was something about her smile that set his heart to fluttering. He didn't want this day to end. "We can tour the temple of Bastet if you like?"

Neteru blushed slightly as Wit smiled at her from behind a few of his brown wavy locks. He was quite cute Neteru thought. "The Temples sound like they would be lovely." She said grinning as a piece of her own wavy hair gently fell in her face.
