Welcome to Sebauduat

Sebauduat, the ancient ruins of a city in the far south of Khemet. The city was built by Wepwawet, the 'opener of the way', and Horemahket, the god of the Sphinxes.

Within these ruins can be found a mystical portal that leads to a pocket dimension holding a city uninhabited for centuries, perhaps even a millennia. Somehow Sebauduat still strands strong in this small dimension, it is theorized to be due to the blessings of the two deities. On one side of the city rises an immense statue of Wepwawet and an equally large and grand statue of Horemahket lays watchfully on the other side. The border of this city is a constant shifting sandstorm that takes any traveler who braves it's wind and sand into another place in Khemet, or possibly even further into the lands of this world.

Inside the city are many portals or doorways to other places, some to other places in Khemet, some to other lands, and even some to other dimensions! Whenever a stranger comes into this city from another world the magic of the statues of either Wepwawet or Horemahket shifts that being into a nejter or sphinx. Why this magic presides within the city is unknown, but it is theorized that it was left as a blessing by the two deities. The portals are unreliable though, opening and closing sometimes with no pattern. Some portals are always open, some open only on certain days or if you have a certain 'key'. It can be difficult to use the city to do where you wish.

The city had lay unknown, it's portals dormant until a few years ago when a brave group of sphinxes found and opened the way there activating the portals once more. Now the portals randomly open in the empty city occasionally bringing forth those from other places or worlds.

Now it so happens that another wayward soul from another world is pulled through one of the city's portals... only to find themselves transformed.

Sphinxifying an Original Character

This is your chance for a character of yours  to stumble through a portal in Sebauduat to arrive in Khemet (or possibly near Phix if they take another active portal in the city). But, fate is fickle and whether good or bad it will affect another person and bring them into this world.... and turn them into a sphinx.

I want to know about your original character. I want to look for one of the most detailed, loved, RPed and filled out characters that I can find. 

If you wish to have your OC sphinxified (or netjerfied) fill out the form below as thoroughly as you can. If you don't have something for the background section don't stress and just skip it. I will be choosing one of the characters who I find the most rounded out with rich histories, designs, with lots of thought put into them from years of being well loved. This will also depend a lot on what is in the form for the custom costume since I may skip ones that have a lot of frivolous requests. (ie. a bunch of items that are not vital to the character)

This will be a tough decision for me, so don't feel bad if you're not chosen.

- light blue greyish Jeans with wide end and metal studded belt and belt chain.
- Thick wide 2nd belt with gun holster & black pouches & the A.D.O. (Aluvian Defence Organisation) Division Z symbol on it. Will add visual below
- Torn black shirt. Sleeves torn short and mid body torn off leaving only chest and shoulders covered.
- Large black ear clip with a tiny sci-fi tech looking panel set in. Attached to a black earplug with a thin mic. (Art below has an "older" concept of it.)

- (maybe) Futuristic hoverboard in colors similar to her jacket. Her go to means of transport and her main "off duty" hobby. Also a thorn in her college's side as she insists on using it inside to. Its iconicly used in RP but don't mind bribing it on at a later date.
- A smartphone esq music player and earplug. If placed inside her ear she has the other plug loose or tucked under her shirt. This to not remove her A.D.O. headset.
- I didn't place the jacket on her because I think it would make the pattern on her lower back entirely inviseble, so I'd like it on the ground but don't mind it being left off.

Appearance: If it isn't hearing her first through her loud way of talking or the volume of the music blasting from her earphones.
Zara's initual apearence comes of as a youthy and spirited individual with generally always a big happy go lucky expression on her face.
Her eyes are bright and lively, and their shape suggest a Korean heritage.

Personality:  Rebelious, outgoing, LOUD!, obnoxious, energetic and a real go getter. Bit of a short fuse, very caring underneath. 0 tolerance to evil, punches first asks questions later.

Background:
Zara Mun is one of Aluva's more known militairy figures. Her team is one of the top scoring ones in their task force, but Zara also causes quiet a bit of ... additional costs.
She gets the job done alright, and she is mindful enough to keep people out of harms way, but with a very poor disregard to her own safety, comfort or leaving the battle zone intact, her behavior is always full steam ahead.
Her life and battle style is nothing short of hectic, and she causes her brother more then a fair share of headaches, but when it comes to a get down, she is very receptive of her brothers tactics and pulls them off to  perfection.
Besides her brother her 3 man team's last member goes by the name of Gabriel, who's nickname "Zero" she more then eagerly aplies in a never ending fashion.
Her spot in the team is all round merrymaker (read headache maker), having a furious relationship with the volume button of her brothers lab allround sound system and amateur guitar player.
Out in the field she is the one taking the punches, but more often then that dealing the punches.
Her weapon of choice, whatever causes the biggest bang.

Behind closed doors, Zara's personal self is alot more solemn, she shares a very tight and close sibling bond with her brother.
Zara does not only rely on him to attend to her health, but also her state of mind. All in accordance to the reason why she carried her mothers maiden name.
Zara was never born the natural way but cloned, and with her brother having the skills, knowledge and equipment to regenerate her after every battle.
Being what she is makes her very uncaring about her physical body, and struggles often with finding meaning in life.

• (Pre- birth) Azra murdered, and sends Harod down a spiral of madness
• (Pre- birth) Harod fired in his attempts to further his progress on the studies of the soul

• Harod attempts to flee with Zhane, but Zhane refuses to go without Zara.
  
• Zhane returns to get Zara, but ends in a cave in of the lab. 
• The freed Zara escapes with him, but the accident and improper treatment leaves Zhane with a limb his following life.
• Harod, Zhane & Zara live in hiding. 
• Zara's initual behavior as a young girl is close to Azra and Harod tries to indoctrinate her in a way he thinks will get him Azra back.
  
• Zhane convinces his father to let Zara experience "normal" life and both go to school, this is also where they first meet Gabriel, who everyone calls Zero due to his frail body.
• Zara's unnatural strength being a result of sceince causes trouble when she confronts Zero's bullies, this is also the catalyst where Zara realises and furthers the concept she is not "normal"
• Zara becomes "herself" and grows further away from Harod in favor of Zhane's true concern, With all the ups and downs that come with it along with teenage drama.
• A.D.O. discovers them, Harod dies in the scuffle to take them in.
• Zara and Zhane, despite other expectations, are welcomed within A.D.O. and receive special tutoring and care.
• In this time Zara with Zhane's support develops as a person and accepts her origin story, shedding the surname Etri and adopting her "mother's" maiden name Mun.
• Zara and Zhane choose themselves to join A.D.O. and fight for their cause
• Zhane unfolds to be just as or maybe even more intelectual and talented then his father, paired with his similar looks he is met with alot of prejeduce, One which Zara meets with her "anti-bullshit" type of responces, firmly setting her protective nature over her brother.
• Zara & Zhane's team get completed when Gabriel "Zero" ends in Zhane's care to treat his condition.
• The 3 further finetune their skillsets and make a name for themselves, along with growing close to one another in a "weird little family" type of way.
• Zara's full trust on Zhane's ability to bring her back makes her adapt to deploying a "living shield" style of rescue, and through practise lowers her reception of pain.
• Having her own type of 'I can't really die, you'll just bring me back' reasoning also makes her Zhane's test subject.

What year was the character created?: OHGODS, The first drawing of her that I have in the depths says 2009 on the file, but that was the date I scanned everything in. I think the drawing itself was made about 2 years before that, but the character is older. So if I have to guess ... around 2002. I was 13 then and alot of Aluva's oldest characters got their more solid design in that time period.

She has a single a tattoo of a Thundra beast (cross between a rhino and a dino, not needed on the sphinx)on her ankle.

Personality:  Flamehawke is mischievous and loves to laugh. She does have a temper to even that out though. She can be serious, but only when it comes to magic or a very dangerous situation.

Background: She was found in a field by the male windling who took her in to raise her himself. She grew and named herself. She also passed her test of adulthood by stealing a thundra beast from his rider. This allowed her to be recognized as an adult.

Right after this she was apprenticed to the village elementalist to learn the craft after she nearly burned a bully after her temper snapped. She was rescued from drowning by the elf who would later become her close friend and blood sister.

Flamehawke is a very old and very loved character. She is the oldest one I have that I play with regularly and recall with ease for personality. The fewer clothes on her the better.

Appearance: Eleni is a tall girl, around 5',9", with a lightly muscular almost a dancer's build to her body. Her waist- long hair is the color of wine, and when not in battle, she allows it to hang loose with just a few strands braided. In battle, she will have her hair in a tight, rope-like braid. She has sloe eyes that are dark metallic blue and shine with a rather happy and welcoming light. She has lightly tanned skin, with a notable scar running from her left shoulder blade to her right hip, and a second scar running from her right hairline to her right jawbone, luckily sparing her eye. Eleni is usually always wearing a white linen dress, that the ends look to be dip-dyed in blood. She also wears silver sandals on her feet and silver wrist guards. The only jewelry she wears is a silver chain that holds a deep red ruby on it. The ruby is cut in an oval shape and is the size of the pointer and middle finger in width and the size of the pinky finger in length.

Personality: Eleni is a quiet girl in truth. She spares few words but is always ready and willing to help anyone that she finds injured. Though she speaks little, Eleni is known for being incredibly kind and caring, a far cry from both of her parents. She is a hopeless romantic, and hopes to find love but does not go looking for it when there are so many people to help.



Background: Eleni was born on a hot summer day, in caves where Spartans would usually sacrifice their prisoners. This is where her mother and aunt (the only two blood nymphs on earth) lived. On that day, the King of Sparta himself was told by an oracle about the newborn nymph and struck a deal with her greedy mother about her daughter marrying his son. It was the only thing that kept her alive as her mother had no intentions of keeping a child of Ares.



She was raised partially by her mom before she passed. With no other family, she fended on her own and began to learn first aid early as a result. She began to find it to be her calling and used it a great deal during her time with Artemis' maidens and their hunt. She was eventually sent to find and live with her father, who taught her how to fully defend herself, and she became a follower of his and taught his men how to use medicine on the battlefield. A common practice still used today.

1: Meeting Omen, a at the time dying Lore, this led to a lot of what would come later on. Also causes her to become Half-lore
2: Meeting and befriending another lore named Green Steve, and subsequently helping him be free of a Evil Lore called Dark Steve.
3: Green Steve slain by Nightmare Steve...leading to Raven having a breakdown which ends in her killing Nightmare Steve..for awhile.
4: Sacrificing the remaining half of her non-lore race and partially her freedom to become strong enough to force a Lore named Shadowbrine to leave.. this causes her transformation from regular angel to being a Seraph level as well despite her no longer being an angel.
5: Green Steve returns, having been corrupted/resurrected then freed of said corruption and managing to escape, though with damaged memories. due to trickery Raven is forced into a fight with the being who had "helped" Green Steve and was merely using him to try and get someone to kill him.. a strange power triggers and the being is defeated. and forced to try and make reparation, to earn his final rest...or be forever imprisoned with no escape if he should fail..

Is this character from a pre-created setting? If so which one?: ..Sort of? umm shes based out of the game Minecraft, and has a lot of the Creepypasta's (lores) mixed in though beyond being based in that world and having some of those characters its fairly original I think?

Due to unknown reasons Ravenkasha actually acts as a..conduit/warden for Lores and other beings, (she isn't the only one) but this tends to lead to her being distracted or shifts in her personality at times.
While iv only had her for a rather short time she is one of my favorite characters iv made, (excluding a very op dimension traveling dragon goddess and the rp around that one but..yeah that wouldn't translate so well...) and I'm planning to make my own art for her (beyond making her in-game appearance) she is also why i wanted my forum title as Seraph of Chaos..XD

Costume Design: She wears an armor breastplate. The breastplate is more of a “crop top tank top” type style. The breastplate also specifically has Odin’s ravens Huginn and Muninn. She does not show cleavage. She adorns a long, loose & flowy, high waisted white skirt with a slit up to her waist. Knee high gladiator-style lace up sandals. Her winged helmet is more like a circlet and does not cover the top or back of her head. This allows her long flowy silvery hair fly free. Her hair does have various locks that are braided and have wire wraps or metal run incribed beads. All metals are bronze/iron colored although also have an ethereal glow. She does also often times adorn war paint. Typically gold or white paint of three dots in the center of her forehead, a line horizontal across the bridge of her nose, a vertical line over the center of her lips, and one line coming down her cheeks from each of her eyes to her jaw line. Her shield has the helm of awe in the center of it.

Appearance: Bhindi’s initial appearance is intimidating. She has a very stoic face due to bearing years of scorned lovers, lost friends and family. As well as general disdain for her life and duties prescribed. Her armor, shield and spear also add to this off putting initial impression.

Personality: Bhindi can be difficult to get along with due to her initial appearance which turns most away. She is very abrupt in her actions with others and this too causes distance. She does genuinely have a good heart, and cares for others deeply. However due to her distant Aquarian-like personality traits most people think she is self-centered which is far from the case. Despite all of this she has a natural ability for humor and her laugh is infectious.

Background: Bhindi was born in Asgard and quickly was accepted into the duties that belong to the Valkyries. This she struggled with throughout adolescence as she felt it as a restriction to her desires of freedom. This of course lead her to fall into Odin’s audit on numerous occasions as her choice on the slain did not always align with his wishes. Bhindi’s from favor was long and drawn out, however was catalyst by her mother who became enchanted and left behind Bhindi to marry another man.

To fill the void Bhindi confided in another Valkyrie, Sigrun. Who unfortunately befell a tragic end. She also fell in love with a warrior by the name of Siegfried. He eventually betrayed her love when he himself fell in love with another. In this betrayal with her emotions out of control she assisted a King who was far from Odin’s favor. This lead to Bhindi’s assignment to collect 300 souls for the halls of Valhalla.

When she goes out on the town doing her superhero stuff, she has changed her physical appearance, including bone structure, so that no one could possibly think that Lady Mist is Misty Rose. She also has a tricked out sky blue jaguar that the boy programmed with an artifical intelligence modeled after her deceased mother.

Well, she is still building on her character and such. In her future she will finally trust a man enought to marry. She will find herself a partner she will trust and work with. She has an arch nemisis. She will have kids much more. And she has a perchance for curse words.

Costume Design:
Hair: If you want to draw something new, its usually half up half down with some kind of thread woven through. She will sometimes put something where the ponytail part is that she finds while out, like seashells (this was all a lakebed once), desert blooms when in season, feathers, bone, beads/gems or tassels. Loose curly, about mid back length.
The lexa or flora is a good substitute so a custom hair isnt really necessary.
Hair colour is a dark blond--something like CD853F as a base, feel free to go a bit lighter or darker to make it work

Top: Think a tube top that is a scarf or large handkerchief wrapped a few times and tucked in. The clan shes with weaves bright traditional style textiles (think a mix of polyneasian/aztec/mayan/morrocan). A typical handkerchief top will work as well (tube style with the last bit of fabric flowing through the middle of the front and down)--as long as there are no sleeves or shoulders. Colours and whatever design may be woven in...vary on her mood and the season. At the moment shes wearing alot of pink/light blue with yellow and beige/cream accents. the only flower bloom of the year has started so its a rare chance to gather up the flowers for all their uses.

Bottom: Its a mix. She sometimes wears basic bluejeans with a fringed wrap around her waist. The cold season is fading at the moment so she would probably switch to a layered skirt: Knee length, atleast 3 layers of textile fabric including frays/tassels/twine. She will probably have a hip scarf over the skirt. Skirt itself varies in colour, texture and design but the base of the fabric is typically beige or cream. The hits of colour come from the scarf and tassles/gems.
If oyu feel like drawing jeans instead of a skirt, that's fine

Like all Hyeans, she has a multi layered necklace (black chord with gems in different places on the chord) and friendship style bracelets (from the textile that the clan produces--hers are shades of sky blue, purple, gold, darker sky blue). These items are magically bound and cant come off of her. She wears some golden bangles on one arm--that metal is part of the temple she has access to.
Wears either runners when in jeans or strappy sandals when in a skirt.

Items (if any): The spirit of her father has given her a section of his necklace to give to the second in command. It acts like a 'restore' from just before her father died and he is now allowed to do that for him. She has given the piece to him but keeps that section on her at all times as remembrance to her father. Its woven into her hip scarf.

Class: To be eventual clan leader (she technically is due to birth rights but she still has to earn the trust of others), psionic/seer/desert druid. She can hold her own in a weaponless fight.
Alignment: neutral good
Deity: Hard to explain. The temple she and 3 other clans protect have a higher tier group of hyeans that are like their specific deities..and they have control over them due to blood rights. These Deities originate deep within the land itself and they have a mutual bond to protect it through these clan leaders.


Appearance:
Around 5'8" ish, slender build with a tiny bit of muscle in her upper arms--but not enough to really be seen. Her skin is almost always tanned but she never gets overly dark, no matter how long shes been in the sun. Hair is mid back legnth, curly (loose) and either up in a high ponytail or half up half down. Clothing typical for her race and the harsh desert climate she lives in, though she hates wearing a cloak in colder/wet weather or in sandstorms.


Family

Born in: A small narrow tunnel inside of a sacred temple with a locked door her father lost the ability to open
Parents: (biological)Father--former clan leader. Killed just before Lei was born. No mother (not all hyeans have one) though there is another female (non hyean--her father was caring for her at the time) that was forced to take care of her within the tribe. She has a half father--one of the deities imprinted his dna into her to save her life when he realized that the killing of her father shouldnt have happened. Her half brother is his full son.
Siblings: She has a half brother whom she protects with her life


Personality: Skittish at times around the other clan masters but can also be quite vocal, stubborn and 'listen to me!' at the same time. She always admired her fathers second--who had to take on her fathers role after she was born--but due to a curse on her clan he couldnt ever touch/hold/talk/teach/love asside from giving her commands. She envied him and the other clan leaders and just wanted to be respected and to learn things.
She usually gets her way when shes stubborn and is very clingy and loving to her second father and her brother. She hates the one deity that killed her father and since he is within that group of deities her second father is very stern and nips anything that comes up in the bud. Gets upset easily and feels she needs to constantly prove why she thinks what she does. Bickers at the one closest clan leader to teach her something he and her father used to do in combat.

Background: Born from the residual energy inside her father and was supposed to be killed with him but was spared at the last second. Her father was convicted of something he never did that was unforgivable and had died in a chamber in the temple by one of the deities. A curse enveloped his clan where the child was pretty much stripped of any right she had. Only the non hyean could touch and take care of her--the rest of the clan could only watch miserably while their 'heir' wasnt allowed to awaken and be reduced to nothing.
The second only had soo much power within him to continue on (he was never meant to take this responsibility) and his responsibilities were eventually passed onto the closest of the other 3 clans. He grew weaker and the entire clan suffered, some slowying dying as they didnt have the resourses or blessings to recover due to the curse/had to beg the one clan master to help). Eventually, against the will of the second, she got soo upset she ran into the highly trapped temple. She was 16 at the time and parts of her--the very core of her bloodrights--were pushing her to do what her line was meant to do--be part of those that protect and guard. She managed to get to the back part of hte temple only other clan masters had access to but was met with horrible mental images that terrified her but those images were what eventually saved her as they were leading up to the true culprit of what framed her father. She eventually gets a bit of respect as the curse wears off but needs a ton of help.

• The second can no longer keep ontop of things, child meets closest clan master for first time, he takes control of this clan and cold shoulders child
• Child grows rambunctious and cares for clan but cant do anything. She learns of the stories of everything at this time.
• She eventually breaks down, upset that noone cares for her and her father was taken away.
• runs to temple mid night(has never been before), avoids getting nailed by traps, finds her way into the back room

Most of my Hyean characters come from reoccuring vivd dreams that tell their own story and evolve over time. I had plans for her for years now to be incorporated into sphinxes and recently theres been an in--on why she would find herself here. Its hard for me to condense things into a nice packet--this whole form is just the tip of the iceburg. I tried.

Appearance:
Full human form: 5ft 7in (170cm) hair down to mid shoulder curling slightly at the end(constantly changing color), very pale skin, Butterfly tattoo (location moves). Bandages on arms due to scars
Syrian Bear form: 153cm from nose to tail, 5ft on hind legs pale brown in color with four brown paws. deep brown stripe/lines in faded part of legs represent scars on arms.

Personality:
Human: Quiet and calm unless provoked. very shy of people and has more of a connection with animals due to the demon influence.
She looks after the animals on the mountain and occasionally helps the farmers at the edge of the forest. she doesn't speak a lot for herself but does when the demon starts to take over.
Her voice is soft but fairly deep, surprising most who hear her speak for the first time. As the demon starts to take over her voice raises in pitch and her eyes change from blue to orange.
She also gains a posh English accent when the demon is in control. Even the demon doesn't know why.

Bear: Violent when challenged but tends to use sheer size to intimidate others rather than fighting.

Background:
When she was born Misika was blessed (or cursed depending on version) with the spirit of the bear from the western branch of the zodiac. Misika's parents were not ready to deal with her curse and sent her to live with her grandmother in the mountains.
Growing up in the woods she was taught how to grow and catch her own food but didn't learn how to interact with others. When she was 15 Grandmother got sick and went to town. She never returned. Misika just plodded along with her daily chores and tended the farmland behind the house.
It was nearly a full year before someone from the main family came. They had come to renovate the house so one of the family members could move in to protect the forest. They had no idea that she had been living there on their own. She was shipped to the city to go to school but withdrew into herself till she turned 18 and moved back to the mountains.

Started as a Fruitbasket Au but grew into her own self after the AU forum was deleted.
The heart locket was her grandmothers that she found in the house after she left to the doctors. She stole it when they took her from the house.
The demon stopped her aging at 25 when she makes a pact with it. She doesn't know this as she doesn't really make time in her home

Personality:  Where to begin! His personality ties in a lot with his history. Unlike many others Heaven does not see the world in any shade of grey. He can seem overly harsh, but the divine justice he delivers can seem that way. Obviously he is not involved in any sort of political squabble as he sees them as beneath him, nor does he pass judgement on them, his sole concern is right and wrong on a cosmic scale. Somewhat aloof and hot tempered he can be hard, if not impossible to reason with once his mind is set. He is exceedingly stubborn in the face of all emotional pleas but can be reasoned with using logic. Considering his harsh personality he has few friends and is mostly content to be hermit. Though he may seem like he might get along with priests or priestesses given his faith based background he considers their opulence revolting and has had the most success with scholars, soldiers, and hunters. Essentially complete honesty to him and well as to oneself is required for him to deal with him. He is surprisingly curious given his demeanor, but he acknowledges readily he does not know everything. Thus he gets great pleasure from exploring culture intricacies and spending time in libraries. He believes in trying to get as much information as possible about the circumstances before passing judgement. While it does not sway his ultimate judgement- divine judgement stays constant- it can influence what he sees as an appropriate consequence. While at one point it seemed he may have had a soft enough spot and flexible enough to find love, after his sister's death he became rigid and lost any softness he might have. He is unlikely ever to be swayed in love and he is resistant to the lures of lust.

Background:
I'm going to go over the bare bones of his backstory. He was an Arch Angel under Gabriel's rule of the heavenly army. He was a respected general with great skill and strength in the fight against demonic forces. His sister was his only family, she was frail but brilliant. One day she discovered a way of magic( or science- I'm still not sure if I want this set in the way way future or past) to merge heavenly powers of one individual into two making them twice as strong. She tried to hide and destroy this creation as it would weaken the donors. Gabriel and the other leaders discovered this advance and took it from her with force. Heaven found her in her laboratory weak and dying, he tried to nurse her back to health but she rapidly deteriorated and died in his arms. He went in search of the armies leaders to confront them about what they had stolen and found not only were they using his sister's magic/technology to blend forces but they were blending heavenly and demonic forces to try and create a super warrior. The first experiment had used his sister as the heavenly force. This went against every fiber of his devout being for he believes the war must be won using only heavenly force. The creation escaped and the leaders implored him as their best warrior to find and kill it, recognizing their mistake. He killed the creature in a long and brutal battle and as it died he saw it had his sister's eyes. He came back to camp and deserted the army as he could not support what they had done. Now he fights for divine good and justice on his own, killing demons and those who oppose him.

Appearance: A graceful mix of Caracal and golden tabby tiger, she has the look of a caracal with the black tufted ears and facial markings, but the colors and markings of a golden tabby tiger. Her hair is like a fine cognac amber. Ears are caracal in size and shape with the tufts on the ends. Tail is long as a tiger's. Eyes are a golden sparkle. A rose like marking on her right shoulder blade gives hint to her name. She wears a knee length, one shouldered chiton of violet blue fading into sea blue with spring green sash/belt around waist for everyday things or a longer chiton for more formal things. A silver necklace around her neck with a circular pendant with a stag on it.

Personality: Can seem stubborn, but she is kind and hard working. Once she sets her mind to something, she makes sure to get it done without putting it off too long. She loves children and hopes to perhaps have some of her own.

Background:
The island she was conceived and born on was an island that was run by females, much like the Amazons. However, there were some colonies of men on the island, these were located on the compass points of the island. If a female wished to marry a male on the island, it was allowed, but the male could not run the home. It wasn't often that this happened though. Any son born on the island was kept with the father when he was two years of age. Females of the island though were not allowed to mate with males NOT of the island. Acacia wound up breaking this rule when she encountered Ajax one day while in the Northern port town. Ajax was a tradesman that came from Greece and traded goods on the island. While he did love the caracal and she the golden tabby tiger, Ajax was not about to settle down on the island and Acacia was not about to leave it. It was during a festival that the pair wound up sneaking off and having some 'quality time' together for the rest of the evening as well as a few nights after that. A few weeks later, Acacia found she was pregnant. When Kalyca was born, she was treated alright, but because her father was not of the island, she was not given certain privledges.
As Kalyca grew up, she came to know sewing, cooking, archery, some wrestling, became quite a swift runner, learned to fish and hunt. She was not allowed though to take part in warrior training. Even with that, she could still take part in some tests and if she passed them, she could be called an Amazon, even if she would not be allowed to take part in actual fights. She'd be more so held back to protect the elderly and too young to fight. She was though allowed to travel to the male colonies and learn other skills. So she learned to work with leather, learned some blacksmithing, learned to make fishing nets, learned to work with wood, learned to make jewelry. She enjoyed all of this. Of course she did get to meet her father during one of these times in the colony. He gave her a necklace of silver with a leaping stag on it. During festivals, she has been allowed to attend, but due to her being a child of an 'off islander' father, she has had to wear a band of cloth on her upper left arm that marks her as 'off limits' to males. She grew tired of this and one day, snuck off the island to live her life and to find love and a place to fit in. As she traveled, she found some odd jobs to do, gaining coin and lodgings. She eventually did settle down and started to make a name for herself.

-Became one of the swiftest runners on the island, is able to travel from the East coast of the island to the west coast of the island in one and a half days.
-One of the best archers on the island, is able to hit a running stag from three hundred yards.
-Was the third female to leave the island to make her own life.

Background:
Rin was born imprisoned and was take from his mother so he never knew her. He was raised as an assassin until he was blinded by one of his opponents, a woman named Lunei. After being blinded, he escaped his evil Aunt and went on a bit of a bender, Breaking hearts all across whatever world he decided to visit that day. Until eventually he was taken in by his uncle and passed off to his cousin Ina who taught him the day to day life of a normal person. He loved her endlessly, she was the first time he felt real familial love.
Lunei on the other hand, came back into his life and flipped it once more as he slowly fell in love with the woman who had blinded him and did not recall his face. Slowly, she fell for him too and through arguments, broken mirrors and roughly cooked meals together they found a true love. True love became their first child together, Isis.
They took that love and found another world where they could settle down with their now infant daughter and well, their choice depended on a promise Rin had made years prior to an old friend.

Personality: She is fiercely protective of her adoptive family and their decedents, though she must stay hidden in today's society. She tends to act like anyone that is not considered family or the Grand Draconus (leader of the dragons) are pathetic and worthless. It is hard for her to trust humanoids.

Background: (limited to 2 paragraphs tops. I want a good idea, not a novel.)

The first memory Poccri has is emerging from her egg and seeing the lifeless body of her parents and being surrounded by countless humanoids with weapons. She heard the cries of one of her siblings as they pierced their swords through its egg. Pain seared through her as another severed her right leg from her body and laughed as he brought his axe down to cleave her left leg off. Out of the corner of her eye she saw others laughing as they found sick pleasure in throwing daggers into her sister (Caoimhe.) Suddenly the energy filled the air as lightning rained from the sky striking and killing the humanoids. Her eyes drifted shut as she felt something being wrapped around her. She awoke to a soft voice, a gentle hand stroking her head, and looking into the face of a child. Looking around she found she was surrounded by children, while two adults attempted to save her sister's life with magick. One of the adults (a healer) would take her sister to ensure that she was completely healed, and Poccri would remain with the wizard and his children.

As she grew her father worried about her, a dragon raised by humans alone. So after speaking to the healer and several others, they took Poccri and Caoimhe to ask the leader of the dragons for his guidance. The Grand Draconus, leader of the dragons, gladly accepted the girls into his court. At this time is when beings of magick gathered to discuss and created a new "world" connected to Earth. One only for creature of magick or those who accepted magick; with special gates that only a handful of bloodlines could pass through. Her father and many others sacrificed themselves to create this haven that became known as Lond. Some humans relinquished their magick in order to stay on Earth, including some of Poccri's human nieces and nephews.

Anything else to say about the character?
My great-great aunt Sab's home had steps made of wood planks held up by cedar bricks. One day when I was around 5, for some reason the bricks slipped and the stairs fell... with me on the middle stair. Luckily I wasn't hurt but it did scare the pee-y pickle juice outta me. After that I started having dreams of being pushed off a giant building/ferris wheel or standing in the middle of the sky before plummeting to the ground. One night I had a dream I was so high in the sky I could touch the stars. The clouds were dancing around me, one had snowflakes surrounding it. All of a sudden it was like the floor had been pulled out from underneath me and I started free falling to the ground. The snow cloud turned into a dragon (Poccri) and snatched me before I hit the ground. When she set me down I was in a cave staring at a large black hole, and I knew she'd be there to watch out for me.  She's been with me since.

A unique and complimentary combination. Not overly 'beautiful' but someone who would catch your eye with her coloring and baring.

Her children are her life; her mate her soul. She will do anything it takes to protect them and their pack from anything that might even look at them cross-ways. Sometimes she's been known to be impulsive, but this habit has begun to finally taper off as she has grown.

Background: Ronnie was never one who sought the top tiers of rank in the pack. Previously content to stay a middle fighter for them and secret agent among humans. She has had moments where she didn't wish to follow orders and as she grew older, especially the years following her own traumatic confinement by a nut-job serial killer, she's begun to stretch herself to take on those higher ranks. Seeking to prevent anyone even remotely weaker then herself from suffering such a fate. This has been a bone of contention between herself and her mate but he's slowly adjusting to the life of shared responsibility.

The true change occurred when she had her children. Seeing in them the weakness she'd felt during her darkest hours and wanting to grow stronger because of it. She still struggles with confined spaces but you'd never know unless you knew the Ronnie for before.
