Garlands of May! All around the city of Phix flowers grew in abundance at this time of year. Fields of wildflowers, carefully cultivated city boxes, parks, at temples and in noble gardens watched over by trained gardeners or even the occasional user of magic users or wilderness priests! It was also a tradition among the Sphinxes of Phix to gather flowers for the creation of garlands to both wear and decorate their homes! Everyone from commoners to Nobles loved the fragrant and seasonal adornments! Everyone who creates a garland of flowers using any medium may enter this contest! You may draw a picture, create a real flower garland, or get any kind of creative that you are rocking like say origami, collage, sculpture, cut it out of a corn maze and take an aerial photo... whatever your medium of the moment may be! All entries must be posted in this thread withing 24 hours of its posting. Everyone who enters will be added into a draw for the Maenad above and I have two bonus mystery prizes for my two favorite entries!

 And its final resting place:  I would do this all the time when I was a kid with these exact vines. Its a bit early in the season so the periwinkle isn't quite flowering--but I did see a few! The white flowers are some of my spring bulbs that kind of went flat in the garden (heavy tulip leaf mowed them over) Yes, that's me >< |

Garlands of May!Got a lovely bouquet from the boy thing this morning for May Day as our annual tradition! He surprised me and went to the store while I was in the shower! As soon as this contest went up I knew exactly what I was going to use for my May crown. So here it is! 💜🌿🌸    It’s so fun when you get the crazy looks while you are at work. Though I work with a lot of people who claim to not be artistic so it was mostly marveling with a few odd looks. Lol Materials: Boything-bouquet Rubber bands Staples Paper clips

I think based on how successful I was this year I’m going to have to start a tradition. It’ll be so neat when I have a full collection of May Day bouquets turned into flower crowns! 💜

I have some beautiful pictures of my dog Evie in a really gorgeous flower crown, but it was made by a RL friend, haha.
I loooove photographing portraits with flower crowns though!

I wish there were more flowers on the periwinkles  They cover the wreathe like that daisy one when they start going. Perriwinkle is easy to weave as well--theres nothing holding the crown together except for the weave itself |

I actually got an invitation from a friend to be the subject of a flowercrown photoshoot recently. Super excited for that prospect! :3
I was actually a little worried with my crown MA, just because the flowers weren’t super plyable. I had to use a lot of rubber bands to get them to do what I wanted. XP
