Introduction to a Maypole Dance  "Maypole dancing? What's that? I want to learn." The curious Grecian visitor wants to learn all he can about Beltane and it's dances. So, it's time to bring him to the Maypole dance, it should be starting soon. How to play.This is a two part game, a first to post and a colouring contest. The image below is both a colouring page and a maze. To enter you must both make it through the maze AND colour the inside of the image (don't colour the knotwork maze, just draw your way through that part).  (I slightly edited it, but this page is free to use if you link to it.... Pooka's Pages Somebody who uses the same nickname I do! ) The first person to post both the completed maze and the coloured maypole dance will win ribbons for their sphinx. ^_^ My favourite out of the coloured pictures (with the maze properly done) will win the floral boy above. (It is possible to win both if you are really good and doing a rush job colouring and are both first to post and my favourite colouring job. ^^; ) Everybody else who enters will be put into a random draw to win a second set of ribbons. Remember, only use the knotwork frame to solve the puzzle, don't colour that part.You have two hours from this post to enter your completed puzzle/image. Sometime soon-ish after this contest ends the maypole dance contest will be starting. |

Good luck to all who enter! I won't be home for at least another hour, and my laptop is so slow that it would take another half an hour to get a coloring program open. XD It is so getting replaced later this year.
