Neti smiled softly. "I believe Amihan was training to become a tomb robber before he found his way onto a more wholesome path." She did look around at the many hieroglyphs and paintings on the walls. She wished she could read them all so she could know the story. She was glad she was exploring this amazing, and dark, place with others. Having a supportive team around made it feel less terrifying and far more exciting.

Thingamajig just shrugs as he is corrected. Maybe he could trip that person later. He seemed very know it all. But for now he would leave him be. "Be wary. could be more traps." was all he said as he followed the others. He looked at what he could see of the images on the walls.

((Hmmm, Lin is a pretty seasoned explorer! He might be able to look for traps, but try to read the wall partially from experience, but not the full thing))

((If anyone has a scribe background they may beable to offer more insight. Im playing off of the fact that Ammelia isn't from this world so anything she would ever know wouldn't really matter))

(As I stated Amihan likely knows a few things as he was trainign to be a Tomb Robber. Julian might know a bit as a mage, but I don't know as he is not mine)

You don't really need a roll for this part. ^_^
There are no other active traps that can be noticed inside, and it seems as if it was mostly weapons, armor and magic items that were looted along with opened chests that show remnant pieces of some ancient scrolls.. Whatever was in these chests were taken somewhat recently, the useless, non-magical scrolls left behind.
The story on the wall is interesting. It gives the tale of Mesu the magician who fought against the forces of evil. But one part of the hieroglyphs catches the attention of the more perceptive or scholarly sphinxes... there is a note of how he had found ancient tablets detailing some sort of dark ritual performed upon the ancient crook and flail where he had the details buried with him to protect the Pharaoh. He had found them among the loot after destroying a certain thieves guild.
Although searching the chests depicted in the pictures show that the ritual tablets have been looted.
Left behind though with some of the 'useless' scrolls are maps of where the thieves's hideaway was located, probably another couple days of travel away.
There are also notes of his very favourite spell, one that turned somebody to stone for 3,000 years. He never could seem to be able to remove the time limit from it though he had tried.

((Julian does have some skills in translating texts and hieroglyphs but not so much finding traps unless they are magical ))

Fia had been following along with everyone not sure how to help with the magic sid of things. That was always Julian's forte. She carefully tried to search the room, with her tracking experience and hunter training she was always pretty good at feeling out and sensing things. Plus her senses were far more acute then most so just maybe she would be able so see or find something others might miss.

Amihan perked up "We should show TaRepy this about the Dark Ritual on the Crook and Flail. Or Julian? What do you think?"

Julian frowned as he noted the part of the story on the walls about the crook and flail... and the ritual. "Hrm...we may have a problem..." he sighed "Lets tell TaRepy."

Ammelia goes over (carefully) towards the wall and headtilts. 'Can anyone play storyteller. All I see are pictures'
She looked around. 'I don't see much in the way of magic though...whatever went tomb raiding wanted things for war.'
She looks up at the others. 'And the puzzle begins to fall into place'

Rajan goes to collect some of the scrolls and such to read over for more information about the hideaway.

"There seems to be some kind of dark ritual involving the crook and flail..." Julian told Ammelia and the others.
