Neti made sure to have a tight hold on her swords, looking at Airian. "You, stay right with me okay, pal?" She hoped her little friend understood as she hopped through the rift. She was ready for this. Or so she hoped.

Myara blinked curiously at the hourglass item she was handed. ‘What a bizarre thing-ma-jig.’ She pondered as she rotated in her paws observing all the minute details on its surface. Timidly she clutched the hourglass and peered around at the others who had also received the item. She returned her focus to the hourglass in her possession and firmly fastened it to her amber necklace. She shouldn’t want to lose it after all. After ensuring it was fastened tightly by tugging on the rigging of it. Her gaze returned to the others around before she approached and entered the time rift, vanishing the same as Ranquillane.

Amihan blinked at the spiraling a bit nervously, but kept his travel up as this needed doing

Julian looked at the hourglass in his paw and slipped it quietly into one of the various pockets of his coat. He paused, looking at Fia. "I'll see you on the other side." He winks and smiles before hopping through the rift after Ranquillane.

Fia takes the hourglass and puts it in her coat pocket. Smiling excitedly she jumps in to the portal after Julian.

Rajan was not about to go into this... time portal first so he patiently waited for others to go before him. He had his own reasons for doing this and he would wager they differed quite a bit from the reasons the others had. It was no matter though. While the others walked through, he made one more check of his supplies and added the hourglass in with them before strapping everything to his belt. Once he was satisfied that he could not hear any screams of agony from those who had gone through he stood. He spared a quick look to Darmaj, the demon who served him, and tilted his head a bit. "Take care of things while I am away." It was not a pleasant parting phrase, it was not a request, it was a command. Rajan watched the other male bow his head then finally turned and headed into the portal with the others.
(OOC: Pooka if we have questions is it better to ask here or in the main thread or...?)

((If anybody didn't post jumping through it time, it's cool and we'll assume that you made it through before it closes a minute later.)) The sphinxes step out of the dizzying rift into the night inside of the garden in the Pharaoh's palace, obscured by the myrrh and date trees. The air smells like rot and the clashing of battle can be heard in the distance. As you carefully peek out from the foliage to see what it happening you witness many an undead sphinx fighting the inhabitants of Ahaket. There is a clearer view of the Pharaoh Adjo, wounded and exhausted, a bat netjer hovering in the air above him with the crook and flail of the Pharaoh in her grasp. “You haven’t heard the last of me!” the bat netjer cries out while shaking her fist, before whispering a spell and teleporting away… with the Crook & Flail of Osiris. The undead collapse or crumble into dust save for the undead inhabitants of Ahket and a reptilian, mummy netjer who has been beaten and defeated in the courtyard. Ranquillane raises a paw to motion that the group should stay still for a moment. "Give it a few minutes." the draconic sphinx whispers loud enough for the group to hear her.

Neti shook her head after the slightly disorienting trip through the rift. She did blink at the battle raging around them. When did this happen? How could she forget something so important? The Sword Dancer wanted to jump in until the battle seemingly ended. However, she did listen to Ranquillane and paused, waiting to see what was about to unfold. So far, this was already a strange experience, but it'd be a story to tell her daughter when she came home.

Amihan crouched taking his cue from this strange lady, but was ready to lash out if needed. He recalled this battle somewhat though it was a bit foggy in his brain. He hoped he could help the pharaoh recover such important items. He felt it was imperative to help repair this time flux issue thingies that were happening all over. He simply wanted things to go back to normal. He looked the cowgirl calmly for a signal they could work at long last on this. He had to admit secretly that she was a pretty lady

Thingamajig had indeed jumped in when the others did and stayed in the back of the group. He found himself a shadow to sit in and watch. When cautioned to stay back and observe he did just that. It was what he was good at after all. He watched the others as well as what was going on. He vaguely remembered this day. He remembered it being fun. He had not planned then to be one to go after the Bat sphinx but he was bored at the moment and figured heck could be fun.

After stepping through the portal and nearly bumping into one of the Sphinxes in front of him, Rajan took a few steps from the group to give them all some room then settled down, watching the scene unfold before them. He remembered this happening and couldn't help but wonder if the citizens of this place were disappointed in their ruler for being bested.

After stepping out of the rift, Medea's fur instantly stood on end... there was a strange atmosphere present, before she even became aware that they had teleported to the scene of a battle. Then she stood, frozen to the spot. Out of fear? Or confusion? Either way, Medea was pretty shocked by the response of her body. She usually expected herself to be cool and collected, ready for anything. But then again, she did just travel through time... that's not an every day experience for any sphinx. Still, she gritted her teeth with resolve that the next time she was thrown into an odd or unnerving situation, that she would not allow herself to become paralyzed on the spot like some fool.
