(('I'm still standing' is playing and I'm entertained by the thought of how the main chorus suits Adjo right now. XD ))

Amihan grabbed supplies standard for his newer position along with water and food. He also grabbed a few things related to his former position. Rope, grappling hook, lock picks, and such were always useful items. He also grabbed some torches just to be safe. He smiled at Shahin as he grabbed a few tricks for the falcon to drop on the enemy. Then he turned "Ready"

Nodding to the Pharaoh's words, Neti nods and grabs a flask of water and some dried meats for the journey. She also grabbed a length of rope, a small pot of honey, and some bandages. She already had her swords so she wasn't concerned with extra weapons. She gently placed everything in a bag she picked up from the ground and looped it over her shoulder. She nodded to the Pharaoh and smiled at Amihan. She was ready to go when they were.

Rajan still wasn't convinced this was a good idea at all, but he had made his points and the risks were readily apparent. The risk was theirs to take and the consequences would be theirs as well - good or bad. He simply bowed his head to TaRepy and Adjo before he moved to the chariot to gather more supplies for the journey (especially making sure he had more than enough water). Once stocked up, he moved to the side to wait for everyone else to be ready as well.

Julian sighed and put the foggy Crystal back. He'd had a feeling there would be something disrupting his own magic. Perhaps he could help in other ways though and that is what mattered. He made his way to the chariot and took what supplies he deemed would be useful and not too hard to carry, anything larger like food or water he put into a magic pouch he carried with him. He really did love that pouch of holding... "All right...I'm set." he said as he finished tucking things away. Umbra popped his head out of the collar of his coat and chittered something then went back to hiding.

((Yeouch! Yeah, thought so))
Ammelia blinked and took a step back. Jeeze, someone is playing out of the lolth rule book. And she didn't like it! 'Theres soo much residual energy..this thing might be using your enery to sustain itself.'
She made a face and looked at Adjo
'You know, I cant split myself up to be in more then one place at once...and my 'magic''... She spoke the word as if emphasizing it--it was more elemental energy then magic--- 'doesn't transfer too well in this area. Are you sure going is a wise idea?'
Her ears perked when a lead was found. Now that was interesting! She had no knowledge of historic burrials over here but those weapons...they were almost--in her mind--barbaric! She was intrigued!
'Hey, you know the way? We need to get going--now--before this gets worse' She eyed TaRepy and smiled slightly. The mage infront of her kind of reminded her of Helen back home. It was...a welcome feeling.

Fia filled her various coat pockets with all the things she thought they would need. She then looked to Julian. "Into the fray we go."

Julian nodded to Fia and smirked a bit. "Just don't hit me through any walls okay?"

Julian nodded to Fia and smirked a bit. "Just don't hit me through any walls okay?" "I make no promises, as long as you dont get in the way again we should be fine." Fia grinned.

Thingamajig glanced down from the building he had climbed. With a shrug he climbed back down and joined the group. He grabbed a pack of supplies and blended in with the others. He let out a creepy chuckle. He had to admit he was a bit excited.

Capt. Linneaus nodded, watching some color return to the esteemed pharaoh's cheeks. However, he couldn't help but let his excitement lighten his features with the high mage's words. "Ooooh, that's wonderful! A trek across land, looking for mysterious objects and things almost left forgotten. I have my spyglass, compass, sharp weapons and all my wits about me! That'll be a wonderful time and..." the explorer trailed off as he helped himself to supplies, "don't mind if I do, kind sir."
He rummaged through the pile taking out some short knives, a few slices of dried meat, some salves, and a thick flask of drinking water. Hmmm, on second thought, he pour what water was left on himself and grabbed another refill. Refreshing!

The group, supplies on their backs, strode through the gates of Ahket beginning their journey towards the tomb. TaRepy led the way with the adamantly travelling Pharaoh being gently forced by her to at least ride in his chariot due to his weakened state. The horses walked slowly, and the sphinxes followed leaving paw prints in the sand behind them.
((If you don't mind I'll skip a couple of days of travel with a time stutter.))
There is a moment of blurriness, a haze not unlike the waves of heat rising from the dunes of the desert but more encompassing. You could swear that you see quick blurry fragments of yourselves both behind and ahead as the dunes, a blur through the haze, seem to whir by.
As the haze fades you are standing near an ancient ruins mostly buried in sand save for one side that seems to have been excavated somewhat recently. The sand has mostly covered over the entrance.
The Pharaoh doesn't seem to notice the time skip, although the High Mage gives the group a curious look as if she's trying to piece together a puzzle. She shakes her head to clear it of whatever was running through it before motioning towards the tomb.
"Here, this is the tomb of Mesu, a powerful scholar and mage from ancient times. He was beloved by the Pharaoh and his guards had weapons had the magical glyphs like the one that you found."
She looked down at where the doorway should be. "This is going to take a bit of work."

Amihan blinked "We dig? I have no skills beyond that for unearthing a door way. Though how do we keep the sand from falling on us?"
He looked over things though he was obviously ready to dig up the doorway any way that he needed to do so.

Thingamajig Nodded and carefully stepped forward. He did not touch anything but he did lower himself to look closely at the sand just in front of where the door should be. He wondered if there were nay traps? He carefully pulled his bedroll from his supplies and tossed it forward. He knew he looked silly but he was not wreckless. He was not going to just boldly go forward and end up in some sand trap at the front door.

((perception check for traps, and a check to see if Kalaya--Ammelias silver dragon--can use her wings to flap some of the sand away?))
