(I'v been using Pathfinder just for my basis and grounding. Can thieves [or former ones] know how to disarm magical traps? checking on that)

Linneaus bemoaned the entire trek across the blasted desert. It was so hot! But at least they made it on good time. He noticed Ammelia's good work on clearing the door, but he threw his paws in quick defeat. "I don't know or have anything for that door. Though my guess is we could toss something at it." He rummages around his pack of stuff for useful, deciding maybe the jewel on the daggers could work if removed.

SO he just uses what he has. ] ((They're half covered so they wouldn't go off until the sand is removed to get into the tomb and they don't go off for inanimate objects either. I shouldn't be telling you guys that though.))

As Julian casts his spell again, using up more of his resources, the glyphs glow, flicker then fade. You're pretty sure that they will reset at some point though... but not before the group is done with this tomb.
