(Official RP) the Battle for the Crook and Flail - Part 2

Rajan clears his throat a bit. "After we discovered evidence in the city that pointed us toward this tomb, we arrived here and investigated. It belongs to a sorcerer named Mesu who seems like he may have had a fascination for time. There was also evidence of some sort of thieves guild and clues that pointed toward missing tablets for some sort of ritual. I imagine we are going to need to find those or we are probably all going to die."

When Amon emerged from the portal he was completely disorientated, not knowing if he was coming or going. Dank stale air hits him in the face. Finally his eyes, adjusting to the dim lighting, he looks at the walls around him.

For those new to the tomb, it was a very large, nearly cavernous room. Mostly the armor and weapons, and what could have been items of magic and scrolls, had already been looted. The walls were covered in hieroglyphics and paintings depicting the life of Mesu the magician. A good sphinx who lived centuries ago, one who fought against the forces of evil to protect the Pharaoh.

Ammelia looked toward the Knight and nodded slightly. 'Soo..your King...what was his name/ Adjo? Is outside with Tarepy. Some evil bat thing seems to want to cast a ritual with what she stole. And..your king appears to really be on shaky ground.'

She started to step forward. 'The way should be clear. Ill check to see if the runes on the door have reappeared..but it should be safe to head back otherwise'

Amihan turned "We got in here and discovered there were two tablets buried with this mage that detailed a dark ritual that can be used with the crook and flail. It could be what is harming our Pharaoh. So we need to find them and also end the ritual."

Dalila lookes at the male Rajan who spoke up to fill the new commers like her self in "I see..well then..i think we should start looking..i really do not wish to die..because we miss something or..did not find thies tablets in time.."

Myara held her tongue allowing others to speak and fill in new people. Instead she turned her attention to the murals and heiriglyphs that decorated the walls.

"We should all decide where to start and what we should be doing so as to not waste precious time, as it were." Julian spoke up, still lighting what he could around them with his staff.

Neti nodded to Julian. "I'm almost positive that the last time we were here, we'd found information that should lead us to our next potential area to search. Perhaps we should head that way then?"

'Right, and that would include updating TaRepy..who is outside. Are you coming?'

"I see.." when Dalila hears about Adjo her eyes go a bit wide "Dang..that is not good.." she looked to the mage Julian then the others "Do we know where to find thies tablets?"

Amihan nodded "So we should look for a clue or divine the most logical place for that bat thing to have hidden. I cna help look for clues or see if there is something hidden here to give us a hint"

He paused at Neti's response "Sounds reasonable to me then. What do all of you think?"

Myara, the murals mostly show the life of Mesu. One of the parts was of particular interest where it showed images of the tablets that were looted. It has the story of how he acquired them after defeating a local thieves' guild and looting their hideaway in the desert. He was buried with them to keep the ritual locked away.

For those who were here before you may recall that you had found old papyrus maps that had the location of the defeated thieves' guild marked. They should still be around... yup, they're right there where they were left before you took the portal back home.

Sitting there, Rajan observes the chaos and gives an inward sigh at the red dragon female leaving them with so little direction, though he guessed that wasn't her purpose. This time he stands and clears his throat a bit louder. "I think perhaps it would be wise to go back outside at this time. We have the information from the tomb here and the next logical place would seem to be the location of the thieves hideout for us to explore. Remember we are with our Pharaoh and the High Mage. They will help us."
