Myara waited eagerly as everyone prepared for the trek. She was not entirely sure where they would be going, but hopefully the full days travel would not cause Pharaoh Adjo any further distress.

Amihan decided to just walk over and look over the maps. He was checking to see if he knew the area or had seen or heard mention of it during his training as a golden paw thief on his way to becoming a tomb robber

((BTW, They've been close friends since back when he was a charioteer.))
Adjo took a second look at the supplies to ensure that there was enough water for all. The map seemed to show the trail going deeper into the desert but all seemed good.
"Excellent, we all seem to be ready." he nodded. "We'll travel an hour away, rest then push hard tomorrow." Smiling at the group Adjo added "I'm fortunate to have such courageous companions to travel with." He patted the chariot looking at TaRepy. "Do you want a ride?" The high mage shook her head looking nearly queasy at the thought. "Ah, right." Adjo responded. "Let's go." he snapped the reigns to get his horses walking so he didn't travel ahead of the party.
((I'll just skip travel time. We can assume that they walk for an hour, set up camp and rest for the night before pushing ahead the next day. Normally I just keep chatting during travel time in offline games, but I need to hurry the story along more since we have a lot to do. ^_^ ))
It's nice to rest for the night. A simple camp is set up, not really the opulence you would expect from the Pharoah, but he seems very content. TaRepy keeps the warding spells active on him. Watches are drawn to make sure that no wild animals, or worse, come upon you during the night. It's a quiet night though with a warm fire to ward away the desert chill. Jackals could be heard in the distance but they never approach. In the morning a quick meal of travelling rations is eaten, mostly dried fruits and breads, before pushing hard into the day.
By the time it's reaching early evening you come across a rocky area of bluffs and mesas. The ancient thieves' lair should be near this area.
Adjo is quick to hop down from the chariot, with TaRepy at his heels looking upset that he wasn't keeping still, to aid those with tracking skills. Those skilled eventually find an area where sometime in the past a cave had been un-earthed in the side of one of the rocky cliffs. The side of the cliff it led into kept the sand from piling up too much around it, so no digging would be needed.
The ancient thieves' lair stands before you.

Amihan smiled at Neti and the others "I'm ready to enter when all of you are. I can help look for traps as we explore this place."

Neti smiled at Amihan "I'm glad you can check for the traps and thank you for volunteering. Lets get this done. I want to wipe the smirk of that bat thingy as you called it, Amihan"

Julian stuck close to Fia as they had traveled and now faced with the thieves den, he stood by her and looked at the others. "Should we check for any magical traps as well? I'd be glad to assist if needed."

Ammelia, after finishing her scan (let me know if I should roll), looked over to Julian 'For sure! See if you can find anything the rest of us have missed;

Myara held back while everyone else searched for traps and such. She was waiting for the area to be cleared before moving closer.

Rajan nodded. "IT would definitely be wise to check for traps."

Fia surveyed the area. You never know what you could find in a place like this. With her training and sharp eyes she had an attention for detail or thins that may seem odd or out of place.

"I shall join you." proclaimed Adjo, wishing that he was able to be of aid to the group. But as he started to bound down from his chariot TaRepy pounced in front of him, staff ready and in a friendly, borderline amused voice "Oh no you're not. My spells are barely keeping the dark energy from draining you." she gave a more serious tone "I have to keep casting over you to hold them at bay. It's not the time to be rushing ahead into whatever danger lies ahead." Her golden eyes widened as she gave him a begging, nearly comedic look.
The Pharoah smiled weakly at TaRepy's adamantness and sighed before addressing the group again. "You all seem very capable, so I'm sure you'll prevail over whatever you discover inside. We shall be here if you need us."
((If you are looking for traps go ahead and roll a d20 to see if you find traps. If you are trying (you don't need to try)... those with rogue-like skills need a 12. Those without need a 17. If everybody rolls a 7 or lower (for rogues) or 12 or lower (for non-rogues) or less you may set the traps off! So be careful.))

Dalila was glad her tracking skills came in handy and when they came to the cave she agreed with Rajan "Yes it would be not so fun to come across traps.." she would then let who ever had unarming trap skills do thire thing
