I was looking over all the cool and awesome new tags in Smugmug and noticed something...
When did the velvet tail become the floofy tail? Id always saw it referred to as velvet and always referred to it as velvet so, kinda confused...when did the switch happen? Did I miss the memo somewhere? XD
Purely just wondering/curious on this. XD

I believe the velvet tail and the "velvet" wigs both got a renaming last year or the year before. In both cases "velvet" was switched for "Floofy."

I'd say absolutely tierasa! (-8 The only game thing I can usually guarantee is that you won't win a contest that you don't enter! I think this years theme could lend itself well to some of the traditional long running contests, (-8
I love searching for random stuff to Rayvin, (-8 Hummm, I can shed a bit of light on the floofy/velvet tail I think, but honestly I think a couple of details might have been lost in history. When they were first created they were nicknamed floofytails, which we used for a few years. Eventually I think they were often associated with the Velvet ears traits which were created around the same time and I think we alternated or went back and forth. ...now I don't really remember if there was every a real naming convention? In our trait samples (and on our files) they were named floofytails by the artist and when I redid all the trait samples that's what I went with. Though, I did notice they were still listed as velvet tails on our current customs (when I was tidying up some missed tags and errors) and I simply amended the name on the custom forms with both names to avoid any confusion, (-8 (or is calling one thing, two things more confusing? idk?)
