I hate it when that kind of thing happens, Cam. I will say, though, that I firmly believe that almost all chocolate belongs in the freezer regardless of meltiness. XD

The Jelly Popping Candy was a limited edition one. they do it every other year. Edit: I was wrong we still have it and it's on sale atm XD  We currently have some new flavours - Banoffee Nut Crumble, Fizzing Cherry, & No Frownie Brownie Fizzing cherry is AMAZING. and it has popping candy in it ^^ Oh my gosh, fizzing cherry sounds so good! ...plus I just presume the UK version's are even better (-8 (though at least we can get the good UK imports here in Canada!) I usually only get this kind of stuff once a year anyways, as holiday treat/stocking stuffers so I don't notice their comings and goings! I love reading about, trying, and seeing all the different chocolates and candies that other countries have. Me to! I love searching the import aisle, ordering or making treats from around the world, (-8 Pooka had a friend visiting from the US and when we were talking about fun Canadian things to do, I suggested the grocery store... which everyone thought was crazy. ...but I love going to grocery stores in far away places because you find so many unique things in different places/regions. (even just across Canada!). Long story short a day of grocery store shopping and a cart full of unique and amazing treats later, my idea was not as crazy at it sounded, (-8 My sister, who moved to NYC last year (I know, quite brave to move to the big Apple in the middle of a pandemic…), she just sent me a box of goodies her significant other’s mom brought back from the Dominican Republic and other goodies she got from Korea town. So many cool and interesting things! 💕 I’ve only tried a few of the gummy candies. None of which I can read the names of. There were a few packages that turned into gummy-globs due to being out on the porch for too long in 90+ degrees. 🥵 I’m most excited to try these green tea chocolates. They too were melty so I’ve got them in the freezer for now. 😂 When we do a bit roleplay based in a place the resembles a real world culture, I always try to make some fun and local foods from those places for the fun of it and to enhance the feel, (-8 ...also, if you search for it, you can often find gift box style treats from around the world on places like Amazon, though you have to really search to find actual good deals, some are pure extorsion! ...and I just remembered we live in the middle of nowhere so there might be easier options searching shops in bigger cities, (-8 I hate it when that kind of thing happens, Cam. XD I used to have a good store of chocolate in the freezer... usually from after the 'chocolate holidays' like easter/valentines/christmas. You can find ridiculous deals that are much cheaper than the baking aisle. Half an easter bunny, a hammer and a bit of stress relieve later, you've got all your chocolate chips for cookies for a fraction of the cost, (-8 I would love to go to tobermory again eventually! It's gorgeous there It's been forever for us as well! I remember it being so pretty there, (-8 I'd love to drive all around the Bruce Peninsula, checking out places I used to go as a kid... |

It’s just been so gosh darn hot around here, but do agree all chocolate should be stored in the freezer! ☺️ I haven’t looked into too many international goodies, but when my sister offered to send some I couldn’t resist. I’m planning to send her some locally made toffee and other local items, but it’s too hot for me to feel comfortable sending them yet. Don’t want them to spoil. Pooka also just dropped this little love off for me today and when I say I’m an unequivocally enthralled its not an understatement 💕  |

He’s part dragon as well, if that helps with your intrigue So he looks that good AND hoards books. Sounds like my dream guy XD We should totaly do a sweet trade at some point. I love cinnamon candy's and sweets but you don't get much over here. |
