Meeting at the park (Ialu and Naohm)

[Nephthys]

Naohm waited for Ialu on a rock. She hoped he was nice, and she hoped he was actually coming. She anxiously cleaned behind her ears. She then took a deep breath of fresh air. She loved the outdoors. Naohm's tail curled around some leaves and she pulled them in to her side, almost as though they were alive. She had heard gossip that breeding season was going to be coming around soon. Maybe... if she and Ialu... No. She was too shy to even think about it. But ever since she was a cub herself, she had wanted children and dreamed of having her own family. Now that she was an adult, that desire was even stronger. Naohm fidgeted some more. She did hope he would be coming soon.

Ialu padded silently through the streets to the park, his satchel of scrolls carried with him as he had not had a chance to stop at home first to drop off the scrolls. He had gotten a messge that someone wanted to meet him. His sister teased him as she had seen the note as well. He shrugged it off, but had asked his friend, Ashira, if she knew the person. He had heard that she was nice, so of course it couldn't hurt to meet Naohm. As he entered the park, he looked around till he saw her on the rock. He paused in his step and looked at her from a distance first, his tail flicking behind him, his ears forward. After a few seconds, he moved closer, clearing his throat.
"Naohm?" he asked as he drew closer, hoping that this was indeed her.

(sorry for taking a while to post XD Mind was still buzzed from earlier. I might not be on tomorrow or monday, but I'll try and slip on to get in a post, if not, then Tuesday^^)

[Nephthys]

Naohm turned around. "Oh is that you Ialu?" She smiled warmly. "Sorry, but I do get awfully shy..." She jumped off the rock and started walking towards him, her mind whirling. Naohm loved his markings. They were very unique. "So you are a scribe aren't you? I heard that's an interesting job."

[Angel_of_Music]

Ialu gave a charming smile, though he was a bit nervous. "Yes, it's me," he said and moved closer. When he was closer to her, he let his eyes look over her form a bit, then back to her eyes as she spoke. "O-oh..yes. I didn't have time to drop my stuff off at home before I came. It is interesting...though I can be a bit of a scrollworm sometimes. I like to read." He chuckled softly and settled his bag beside him a bit. "What of you? What would you want to do if you could?"

Naohm's heart fluttered slightly at his charming smile, and watched as his eyes darted over her body. She hoped he thought she looked... alright. "Well, if I was a scribe I think I'd have my nose in a scroll most of the time too," She giggled. "Although I have always dreamed of being a hunter. The idea of studying animals and being in the outdoors all the time just... appeals to me very much. Then again, a dancer would be a very a rewarding job." To demonstrate, Noahm twirled gracefully on her toes. Then laughed out loud at her foolishness.

Ialu couldn't help but thing Naohm beautiful, her colors were striking. "A hunter? A rewarding job as well as it gives you a chance to not only study animals, but to gather food," he said and watched as she twirled, then chuckled softly as well. "You would make a lovely dancer as well. One of my friends is a dancer actually. Then again my little sister wants to be a dancer as well, but she's a bit clumsy yet." He shook his head and chuckled again. "Do you have any hobbies?"

Naohm chuckled with Ialu, then thought about his question. "Hobbies? Well, I try to stay out of doors as much as possible, and I like playing with cubs alot. I also try to practice my dancing and singing, when I have the chance of course," She smiled at him sweetly. "And what about you? Oh yes, a part from reading."

Was silent as she spoke, taking in the words and what she liked, though he blushed softly at the mention of 'playing with cubs'. "I'm sure you have a wonderful voice. You are rather beautiful," he said and shifted a little. "Aside from reading, I help my parents take care of my little sister. She can be a handful at times, but little sisters can be like that. I like to write a little, though I also like to sing. Do you like walks under the stars?"

When Naohm heard what Ialu said about her appearance and voice, she felt rather faint. "You think... I'm beautiful? Wow, um, thanks!" She blushed rose pink, then concentrated on responding to the other things he said. "Your sister? I'm sure she's adorable. All cubs are. Though they require a lot of time and attention!" She giggled, and paused for a minute. "We seem to have a lot in common, Ialu." Noahm got butterflies when she said his name. "Walks after dark- or walks of any kind are one of my very favourite things... Maybe, we could meet up and do that sometime, perhapes?" She paused again and flicked her tail. "When I'm outdoors, I feel I can do anything..." She said, trailing off a little.

He grinned as he saw the blush and tilted her head. "Why would I not think you beautiful? If anyone has said that you're not, then they're either blind or stupid," he said and reached over to brush a strand of her hair from in front of her eyes. "Yes, little sister. She can be a little terror at times, but...I love her anyway." He chuckled and shook his head, watching her. "I would love that. A nice walk after dark with you would be nice and yes, I know the feeling. As much as I love to read, I like to walk as well."

Noahm froze as Ialu reached out to pull her hair back, but without meaning to, she leaned into his touch a little, then blushed. "You are quite handsome too..." She said shyly, then paused for a second, not really knowing what to say. Instead she leaned forward and kissed him gently on the cheek. A little shocked by her own action, she whispered half to herself, "Actions speak louder than words..."

Ialu smiled softly as she leaned into his touch, which was gentle. He blushed a bit himself and nodded. "Thank you," he whispered softly. He looked into her eyes, the color reminded him of newly polished emeralds. He blinked a little with the kiss to his cheek, though grinned a little as he heard the whisper. "How about that walk? We are in the park afterall." A soft purr came from him as he leaned forward to softly nuzzle her neck.

Naohm smiled, looking up at Ialu through her eye lashes. His fur was the kind of colours you only saw in dreams... Her heart skipped a beat as he leaned forward to nuzzle her. She eagerly accepted it, and a low purr rumbled in her throat. She curled her tail around her body and her eyes darted to her beautiful surroundings. "Oh yes, a walk..." Naohm mumbled in a smooth as silk voice. She slowly rose to her feet, still in a dreamy like state. She slid down off the rock gracefully, expecting Ialu to follow.

Ialu's smile never dimmed as he watched her. She was very beautiful and he was glad he came. Hearing the purr from her, a purr of his own slipped out. He shifted so she could move, then once she was off the rock, he was by her side. "So, tell me a little more about yourself. i'd like to know more about the lovely vision that I walk with."

[Nephthys]

Naohm swallowed. "Well, if you want to know something... shocking about me, I was abandoned as a cub. I've never seen my parents since. And a good thing too. I was terrified of them." She shuddered at the thought of them trying to come back to find her. It was something she had nightmares about often. "I also have a sister Nathifa, in case you didn't know. I do love her, but I just wish I could understand her some day. In other words, she is... not so nice. Infact, one could say we are complete opposites." Naohm hoped Ialu didn't mind having to listen to her sob stories. She looked into his deep blue gaze, hoping that she could trust him not to tell a soul.
