Masika winced as her claws shot toward the practiced priestess only to be met with the other's thicker claws. The resulting scratch against her paws told her this was not her year. She hopped back, out of reach and bowed once more before leaving the circle to watch the others. "Best of luck ladies." She murmured.

Disheartened, sure, but this wasn't her first failed battle with Sahret. There would always be future festivals.
