An Invitation to Mayolin's Mansion

Tathulan decided to follow the other witch to her pocket dimension. Perhaps her own powers could be useful. She was certain she had a few tracking spells that might be able to help locate the missing object.

Memphis sauntered casually behind the group. His bow in hand and his quiver slung over his shoulder. He gave a small hair flip before running his paw through his locks. "I'm here to help where I can. Direct me where I am most needed." His voice boomed, but with an ease about it.

It had been.... a long time since Kesi had done anything outside the city of Ahket. She had been too busy with her job and her children, and truth be told her heart hadn't been in doing anything outside just surviving and existing. Why today was the day she decided to chance to change that, she didn't know, but she was happy for the invitation and arrived punctually with Abrax at her side (the others had been left back at home.) "Thank you very much for this invitation. I am happy to accept and help you where I can."

Tiaua, "fresh" from her volcanic adventure on the illustrious tropical getaway stepped forward, "I'm .. very curious now. I've seen an exotic island full of ... well for lack of a better term traps and something called 'LAVA'. This, can't possibly be like that.. Can it?" She mostly spoke to herself and she didn't look TOO concerned about danger. Once you've hovered over an active volcano.. it would likely to a LOT to scare you again.

Or maybe she's really just a thrill seeker? ;)

Lotus, seeing tiaua sighed on relief and padded over. Thank goodness she had made it out

Mhara came forward. "Miss Mayolin, I know I have never been with you before, but perhaps my talents could be well used here? I'd like to come along and help."

Tiaua's expression perked up and she moved to meet Lotus mid-way. "Oh hai! You're here too. Do you know anything else about what to expect this time?" Her head tilted and she smiled, "OH and thank you for the lovely toothy child you send me. She's been a blast to follow around!"

Ahti spotted Akari looking his way and did his best to stay focused on the task at hand; helping Mayolin.

Lotus slot shook her head. I don't she started, but I have heard of great things from her family so it can't all be bad
Can it?

She smiled at the toothy comment. Hopefully it isn't causing too much trouble!

Tathulan did a quick inventory to see if she had all of the necessary ingredients for her spells. This could prove to be quite the adventure.

Mayolin looks so relieved that such a large crowd showed up, this would make the search faster. She felt the need to explain a little more.

"How did I lose something so important? Well.... ' she gets an angry look ' you see, as I mentioned Amai is the main one who knows who is where in my mansion, but when I know somebody is here I have the ability to force them out of my pocket dimension. At some point Ranko was able to get inside disguised as one of my friends. She quickly found and stole Amai's disk and before she could break it I realized what was happening and forced her out. I don't know where she was at the time and the disk could be practically anywhere! She also brought in some charmed sphinxes to wander my mansion, but I don't really know who they are so I can't find the sphinxes to remove them. If you can find them I would appreciate it."

"What does it look like? Like a small, metallic looking but more fragile, disk with a hole in the middle, about the size of your paw. Written on it is this... ' she produces a few small papers where each has the same Hanashima Symbols on them ( 告白教室が大好き) It's called 'Kokuhaku kyōshitsu ga daisuki' or 'Love Confession Classroom'. " Mayolin has a pleading, hopeful look "It's very important, so please be very careful with the disk when you find it."
"I'll open up my mansion for you to search. I'm really trusting you guys with this since my divinations showed one of you will find it, but I'm not sure who that is."

"I'll reward you of course, possibly with things that you find interesting around the mansion. I can't just 'give' you anything that you see though, but I may be able to compensate you with something similar." she smiles

The portal witch traces a magic circle in the air that hovers and glows before stepping through.


The foyer
The portal opens directly into a large foyer decorated with white marble flecked with golden cracks. The arching stairways lead to many levels of balconies. There were large, open archways that led out of the huge room along with a two story high glass wall that displayed a pool of water outdoors.
Hanging on the wall was a large, round, wooden plaque carved in the shape of a bonsai tree. Beneath it were the words 'Yama Sugi Outlaws' then in smaller letters beneath that 'Because We Care.' On another wall was a framed portrait of a small dog swimming in water (Pippin from the Meg) with a plaque beneath it saying 'Our Mascot, Kelly the Dog.'
At the back of the room was a large marble table with an illusionary three dimensional display of many passageways and rooms that seemed to be laid out in a very chaotic fashion... designed by somebody who obviously wasn't an architect.
"Normally I would have a simpler way of communicating across the rooms, but with Amai being inactive the usual means aren't quite working. But, I do have maps in varying places around the known parts of the mansion. So feel free to explore as you wish. Save for keeping out of personal apartments and locked rooms, and use the same basic common sense that you would when visiting somebody's home. "
"Oh, and before I forget, you may come across a few other guests that I have invited into my home. They could be lost as well so perhaps you can help them out? So please, find Amai's disk!"

Tiaua nodded slowly and looked around. Wondering who some of these new faces were that were joining for this .. exploration? Was that a good term. She blinked and the thought fluttered away. Turning back she replied to Lotus, "That's good news. But now it's making my nose twitch with curiosity." She pressed a paw pad to her nose and wrinkled it, "You know what I mean? Hopefully it doesn't result in more dire circumstances for her home like it almost did for Mr. Ito's tropical getaway island."

At comment about the toothy-child being a problem Tiaua waved a paw airily, "Not at all! She's been absolutely a gem. I do need to figure out her name though. Something fitting and fun."

Akari perks up and happily sets foot though the portal "Im always willing to help anyone who is lost" she smiled at everyone there but forgot she was waring a mask so they could not see her smile
