I remember MagikBook and those Neopets days was so long ago! It's so nostalgic. :< I'm definitely curious how the Widdershins lore has developed since those days, and who were the original characters?

I am also loving the new artist's mark, the bear paw with the turtle XD For some reason that seems to fit me as well. The bear paw because I can be like a bear at times, the turtle....for the running gag since 2018 of when I started accidentally catching turtles while fishing XD

Oh yea, I forgot to mention I switched signatures! (-8 felt like a good time when Pooka was going to start using one.
and the barn owls are so cute, (-8 I kind of need all of them... I like when Pooka makes stuff and it inspires me to make new characters. idk if I could pick my fav, but I love the toad animation and have a need to make a witch or druid to go with it!

I'm also curious if anybody actually noticed the Headmaster's name. XD Odhran's family came from greener Isles originally as the O'Realys, but over time they dropped the O' as was the custom of the local Sphinxes... It's more an ode to his ancient relatives that he signs his letters with his first initial to honor the O.Realy ancestral name! (and I cannot resist old memes... I'm never gonna give them up.)

pets are the best! This is my fuzbutt Gizmo. He's just over a year old and is my therapy dog in training. He's a shih tzu and is technically cream or pale gold with blue. He's crazy special because I wasn't able to have a dog until I moved ( I won't get into why). If COVID was never a thing he would have been able to be a working pup( I think it might be too late to start) I'm still going to try to therapy certify him so he can go in stores with me....wish me luck! Gizmo is super smart, intuitive and a huge attention grabber. Loves belly rubs and walks. He's my little boy and I would not trade him for the world.

Pets are the Best! This is my previous feline owner, Tigger. My old printer was his feline supervisor's chair. He was the cat who taught me we poor humans don't own cats. Instead, cats own us. Tigger demonstrated his ownership of us, and the house, and the yard, on a regular basis. That agreement that said he was supposed to stay inside unless he was leashed or on a tie-out? HE never signed it, and he was quite happy to remind us of that any time there was an outside door left open. Oh, and then there was the time I made the error of buying the Wrong Brand Of Cat Food. I filled his self-filling bowl with it... the bastard scraped the entire contents out onto the basement floor, complained loudly all evening, then threw up on the dining room rug and woke my dad at 6:30 am to show him. He was seven pounds of cat with 300 pounds of purrsonality, and he ruled my house for 16 years.

pets are the best! This handsome boy is my furry Angel, BeeGee. While mom's name was on his papers when we got him from the breeder, Roseann, he was my dog. My dog to train and show, but after a 'failed' showing at an obedience match, mom took over training him and didn't give me a chance. However, he was still MY boy. I got his first two legs for his working weight pull dog title, I showed him in agility if there was a conflict with one of mom and Trace's runs, he was my world. When I first met him as a puppy, I had an instant connection with him and it lasted for 14 glorious years. Yes, he was a goof for mom, but that was part of who he was, a big lovable goof. He could speak on command, he even did 'high-five, low-five, high-ten', but when he did the 'high ten' part, he'd usually rear back on his hind paws to do it, so we called it the 'Hi-Ho Silver!' move. I remember one time when I had him in the show ring, I had set him so the judge could go over him. BeeGee went to lift his one front paw as the judge reached down and I said 'no high-fiving the judge' and the judge just snickered. We'd often have people think that his name was just B.G. and would often ask us 'what does the BG stand for?' and we had to responses. It was either 'well it doesn't stand for boy genius' or 'it stands for Big Goof', to which we'd get looks and we'd have to say 'it's actually spelled like the group, the Bee Gees' and they'd soon understand. This was a dog who loved everyone, be they human or four legged. He'd let us put hats on him or other things. He was a big mush and he was my teddy bear. He was also in a movie for this one college student who needed a 'wolf' to finish some shots in his movie. BeeGee had been recommended and he got the part. It was really cool, we even have a copy of the movie. The day we had to say good bye to him, I was broken. I was losing a part of my heart and it hurt like hell. I miss him and while that part of my heart has healed, it's still reserved for him. Getting Blake helped with that healing because I see a little bit of BeeGee in Blake, so it's like having a little piece of BeeGee back.

Pets are the Best! This is Amaya! I adopted her from the shelter after we made an instant connection there. She gets along amazingly well with the other pets in the house, and loves to be loved. She also seems to sense when I'm sad, stressed, or angry and rush over to comfort me and cheer me up. Her absolute cutest feature is when she runs up and thumps her entire body weight against your side to get you to pet her. She does have a pet peeve: Amaya cannot stand any whistling whatsoever. So we definitely try to not whistle, less we face the grumpy glare.
