Yesterday we had a bit of rain but it turned into fluffy snow while we were out. ...looks dry for the next few days but then it'll warm again a bit for more rain, but we're close to the temp where just a degree or two turns a rain into a blizzard! Tis the season, (-8
...but, I'm stocked up on holiday teas so I don't care what happens outside atm, (-8 Oh yes, I saw a bunch of festive tea yesterday and they all look lovely! There was a big Celestial Seasonings Display at the end of the isle filled with some sweet looking holiday options I've never seen. With such an advertising push I figure they're popping up all over the place if anyone is interested, (-8 I picked up Sugar Plum and Sugar Cookie. I'll prob pick up more before they are gone.
*googles Celestial Seasons for link and then falls into a rabbit hole... always interesting when google auto types 'cult' on the end of what seemed like an fairly pure intentioned query...* Huh, there's my learning for the day!

There are most certainly some Druids in Albion... and she really does look like she's on her way! (-8

I don't think I have any of the Sugar Plum or Sugar Cookie, but I definitely have Candycane Lane in my cabinet. XD

I'm sipping a Sugar Plum right now... sweet and spicy, I like it! I even love the box... I kind of wish they had the picture on a little tin or even one of those cardboard tubes like Tetley, I'd totally keep it forever, (-8
I'll prob pick up some candy cane and every other flavour on my next visit! I do have a fine collection of mint teas so I opted for some flavour combos that seemed newish or that I didn't have, (-8
There was also a Tetley display (boxes, not adorable little tubes either) that wasn't specifically 'holiday' but was new, Indulgence. I picked up Cookies and Cream as well as Chocolate Mint. There was also some other ones I might grab as well, like gingerbread cookie, (-8
So, yes, I'm in a fancy Tea mood it seems!

I think I've had the gingerbread one. I LOVE gingerbread cookies, so pretty sure I picked that one up at some point. My newest editions have been their Bengal Spice blend, which is SUPER spicy. I usually use two tea bags for my favorite cup, but with that one, it is one. I also can't let it sit too long. My other new one is cinnamon apple spice, which has a hint of chocolate to it and is pretty good but has a bit of an odd aftertaste.

Just a little wrap up...
Halloween had come and gone and it looked like things were getting back in order around the school. It was a secret about how a group of students found a dungeon beneath the wizardball field, which quickly meant that the whole school knew about it.
The professors seemed to have learned full well what happened and gave hints to the students from the adventure that they were planning to deal with things more fully when it re-opened in a year. The three missing Catpaw students may have been ghosts, but they stuck around to be re-enrolled into their previous classes.
Along with the rumours of the wizardball court was word that many of the professors had protected the school from an onslaught by a pair of dragons who flew in from Mal'tolgalen. That night only a few professors stayed behind to keep an eye on the students, including Shadowstone the transfiguration teacher. It was shortly after Halloween a student found the elusive 'great crested grebe' and the original transfiguration professor was able to re-take her usual place. Professor Shadowstone mentioned that she should get back to Ahket to help at Yama Sugi Golden now that she didn't need to fill in the transfiguration classes any longer.
As an after note of the dragon attack, as of late the dragons seem to have been becoming more agitated. Many of the warring kings in Albion set plans to gather for a conference including the chiefs of the blue painted barbarians, the high druid and the Headmaster of Widdershins, to discuss growing matters.
But for Widdershins things quickly returned to normal, well 'normal' for the school that is.

Oh, and as a final note: I kept track of the House Points for fun. ^_^

Silverarm 60 Whisperglyph 55 Verden 100 Catpaw 60
It looks like Verden wins the house cup by a long run.

Asherah cheered for her house, knowing that she'd had some small part in earning those points.

This isn't the best picture of me (my hair is a mess, my bang's aren't straightened, and I'm just kinda taking a candid picture) but I have to show my new necklace! Mr. Pooka apparently bought me TWO anniversary presents! The second one just arrived today. It's a pure silver necklace pf Eilistraee's holy symbol. <3 (Her classic one from 2nd edition, not the 3rd ed one.) Eilistraee's original holy symbol: (It's supposed to be a sword against the moon with her long hair encircling it.) Eilistraeean drow have been a HUGE part of our RPs, and our RPs are a HUGE part of our lives, so this is a very, very thoughtful and symbolic present. ^_^

I'm fairly sure I've had a box Bengal Spice once... it was heavy on the pepper, if I remember, which is nice when the mood strikes! I also just finished off a box of cinnamon apple spice, (-8 I drank a bunch of it when we were playing our Anime RP (and following Heb) because apple flavours played a big part in the RP and character backgrounds. (Via some Idun decendants who tended a massive Apple Orchard, making it a local community flavour/tourist destination) I also bought Pooka a Cinnamon Apple Chamomile last time we were out of town and she went right through the box already, and it was really nice! By a brand called Stash I think. It took a long winding trip through Russia and Europe that was kind of exciting to watch with tracking, (-8 It's traveled way more than I ever have, but I'm super happy it finally got here, (-8 Pooka wanted to make some but we ran out of time... and that is a good note about the school, that unlike a certain wizarding school from another world, Widdershins is open to all sorts of Sphinxes of interesting backgrounds including but not limited to ghosts, fae, vampires, werecreatures, elves and more, (-8 Some might get their own special rules (ex. No drinking other students blood!) but otherwise are quite welcome!
