It quickly got cooler here for us. It's perfect sleeping weather because I like to pile on the covers while it practically snows around me. Not that it's gotten to that temperature yet, but hey xD
Olive Garden is a bit meh to me, but like others said, the free salad and bread isn't bad! My taste for mediocre Italian was spoiled when I went on my trip to Italy many moons ago. I was just blown away by the diversity and simplicity that the westernized version missed the mark on.
I'm not sure what I'm having for dinner. We might have steaks if I feel up to cooking, but otherwise I'll just make myself a sandwich with some easy chicken noodle soup! ^^ I do have a mushroom and squash risotto on the plans for this weekend. :9

...also we've got a fine collection of cooks around here... I think that might have to be some event focus if we ever manage to get together sometime, (-8 (It's pretty tricky to come up with a taste test forum game!) Leave it to me!

It took me many years of cooking to learn this truth!
..and I just recently picked up the cutest owl mug for Pooka and she uses it every day now, (-8 ...I think I've mostly given up on matching sets of dishes, just picking up odd and interesting pieces... it adds a variety and spice to our everyday meals I think!

The one I had was a pumpkin brulee from Teavana. It's amazing with a bit of honey.
Oh! And supper ended up being Jamaican patties (gluten free for me) and fries.

If anyone has a recommendation of a good Chai or Rooibos teas, I'd love to hear them. I need to stock up on some. I'm hard pressed to think of any chai I haven't liked, (-8 I prob mostly buy the Tetley one but just because it's easy to find and delicious. There is one variety that I really enjoy, called 'dirty chai'. It's basically chai tea but with some Espresso beans in there. I don't drink coffee, but love coffee flavoured things (I know, I'm weird) and this sort of just hits the spot... plus the caffeine boost helps start a slow morning, (-8 While I know there are other brands, unfortunately the only one I'm familiar with is a Canadian one (PC) so I can't give you any good reviews! I can't help with the Rooibos though, it's one of the few teas that just does not agree with my taste buds!

Professor Realy: There were some excellent candidates in the running for Potion Master this year and the choice was not an easy one, I assure you! After some careful consideration, discussions with our staff and a few pertinent divinations spells we finally made a choice. I'd like to introduce the our new Potions Master, Professor Howland! Congratulations and welcome!
