~ This is an English language site. Please post your messages in English... we're not sticklers if it's not your first language, but do expect posts to be readable by the general community and mods.
~ Please be friendly and polite. Sphinx threads are a place for fun and excitement! Rude or mean comments will not be tolerated.
~ Sphinx threads are also meant to be a happy & stress free place, please do not try and mess with that! We have open threads on the Sphinxes RP forums where you can talk about things that don't belong in these happy and stress free threads where people have come to play and relax. (If you are sad, mad or frustrated and you know your post might share the same feelings post something in our Sphinx General forum, not our main Sphinx threads or in the forum shoutbox! We have a strong, compassionate, giving and kind group of stalkers who can read and post there if they wish to.) The Sphinx generals forum is a great place to have conversations, ask questions and discus topics that don't fit a fun game thread. Please don't interrupt other people's threads with your drama.
~ Begging, whining, drama and trying to guilt other players is not allowed.
~ No posting a link to a picture/video/etc that is higher then PG13 without a clear warning. But still typically try to keep things to a PG13 level.
~ The same basically goes for forum posts/RP/Stories - try to keep it to a PG or lower rating. If you need a higher rating we have special, non-public forms you can request access to.
~ Please don't post advertisements for other adoptables in sphinx threads. We have provided a specific area on our forums for this.
~ No stealing the art. Feel free to use your own sphinxes in avatars/banners/etc., or other sphinxes if you have the owner's permission. You may also use your own sphinx as a reference picture for roleplays. ^_^
~ On the topic of no stealing art, AI generated art is not allowed to be used for any contest or game. (We support Human Artists)
~ Do not alter your sphinx in any way.
~ Please link to the url we provide, so that future sphinx changes (such as costumes for classes) can be altered.
~ No editing contest posts for any reason. (if you think you made a mistake try and repost!)
~ No deleting your posts for any reason! (Save for in your own sphinx profile threads.) If you need a post deleted please contact a mod.
~ If you post animations/moving gifs that are possibly choppy please put them into a spoiler. Sometimes these cause motion sickness in some of our stalkers! (examples, .gif created from an animated source (say the Star Wars Clone Wars TV show) = cool, .gif created from a live action film (like the first Star Wars trilogy) = maybe not cool. Use your discretion. Thanks!
Claiming
~ To claim a sphinx (or pet/item) won mail the account Mr. Pooka with the ID# and owner and name. Sphinxes not claimed (through pm) within a week after being won may be reclaimed. We basically do our bookkeeping through PMs, so we rely on the claiming messages, so if it's not claimed within a week it could wind up going back into the pool so don't forget!
~ To get your Sphinx added to the Database/Inventories please post your sphinx/pets/etc in this forum. We don't always have the time to add them in as we're doing events, and have some wonderful volunteers/team members who go out of their way to help with that. So posting them in that forum helps them to find the sphinxes to add in. ^_^

(added rule banning AI generated art. We support Human created art and do not accept AI generated art that is built upon art theft.)
