I love seeing the whole group together, Pooka! Also, hi, happy Sunday! Thank you. ^_^ They just kept being put together as I finished the pictures. I also made a set of pictures of an NPC group of chocobo knights who were in the background. I love so much that I plan to RP them in a Mr. Pooka run game someday. |

Reindeer Games... Ugh...Reindeer came flying and bounding in from all directions to the Games Room in the North Pole, all flush with excitement - It was Games Night! Many of the old classics, like chess and kerplunk were resigned to the back shelves and a few had been banned by Santa. (The corporate greed of games like Monopoly really steamed his pudding!) One of the only classics that stayed in circulation was Candy Land, but that was mostly for the elves... they couldn't seem to ever grow tired of that one. Instead the tables were laid out with colourful tiles, piles of cards and armies of plastic figures. Laughter, playful competitive banter and the clatter of dice filled the room as the Reindeer Games commenced.
Our dark minded Reindeer wasn't really invited to play any Reindeer Games... which was fine in his books. He was pretty much forced to be here anyways and just couldn't wait for this stupid night to be over. He walked past the tables, rolling his eyes to keep from commenting on this massive waste of time. Like flying Reindeer needed to build railway tracks or horde resources... gah, Catan Catan Catan, might as well be a curse word. I guess Cards against Humanity had an OK ring to it, but it wasn't what he thought.  Trotting past the crowd his boredom lead to searching the 'old closet' where retired games go to die. If only it worked on him, he thought, and his first smile of the evening appeared briefly. Ancient games with simple pieces where heaped in great dusty piles. Not that he wanted to play with anyone, but he did kind of admire the ascetic of games where you had to actually use your own imagination and not have it spelled out for you with intricate set pieces, showy graphics and a PIXAR film. He picked up a worn old box of Pente and listened to the glass beads inside clatter but before he could put it back something caught his eye. Another box seemed to have slipped behind the pile and gotten wedged near the bottom of the pile. The corners were crushed and the part of a board was peeking out. He could empathize. With a firm tug he pulled out the ancient game and had to admit he liked the font on the box... what exactly is this Ouija?
Clearing out a space on the dusty floor in the dark closet this dark Reindeer set up his own new Reindeer Game! ............................. Reindeer Game - First Contact!Holiday magic was in the air... what kind of magic was yet to be seen! To play this game please post the title ' Reindeer Game' along with the following. Along with your Sphinx post your choice of ONE of the following words; Hello or Goodbye. You have 22 hours from this post to make your entry! When the time is up, I'll choose the code word at random (hello or goodbye) and everyone who picked that word for their entry will be put on a list to see who our Dark Reindeer contacts and thus win his soul, err, win him as a prize!

For the Reindeer Games contest, would a vampire be considered contactable? I'd say sure! (-8 I went with the straightforward mythologies on the topic, but anything that fits your Ouija vibe is cool with me. (I'm not going to be super picky at all on this one, as long as the Sphinx has a Supernatural 'something' that's probably cool. A regular Sphinx with no traits or job might need a super background story as to why they were contacted via a Ouija board!) |
