The Kids in the Hall were a Canadian staple... I know it was broadcast in elsewhere but I wasn't sure what kind of impact it had. I kind of want to try and sell it to everyone who hasn't heard of them! Surreal, self-aware, absurd, smart with a real edge that is still sharp today! They were the kind of sketches that made some people shake their heads but more people memorize and quote, perhaps way to often, (-8 30 years on and I can still hear some skits in my head verbatim, (-8
The revival is spectacular... if you're a fan! I mean if fighting over an imagery girlfriend, naked sixty year old comedians jumping around and Paul Bellini might not be everyone's cup of cabbage but it's a perfect continuation of the original, (-8 I'd highly recommend it! (if your not having fun by episode 2, maybe run away and ... I'm sorry.)
I want to spend hours going over older skits online now, (-8
There's probably something offensive hidden in some of these videos, just so you know!

In high school my friends and I would chant away 'evil, evil, impolite and evil!'. One of my friends, when asked for a favour would say things like 'No problem, I'm happy to serve you.... aaaaand Satan!'. (I went to a Catholic school, so um, the teachers weren't happy with those jokes. >.> )
The 'I crush your head' was nearly always being quoted by one nerd or another. lol
Kids in the Hall were nearly like the Canadian Monty Python. lol So it's really exciting for us oldbies that they've started up again, and it's pretty much a continuation and catering to us old fans.

Normally I wouldn't put this into a main thread, but it's important since it may cause Heb interruptions, but between the two of us we have three surgeries on the horizon and it will cause some interruptions. >.< These may be scheduled in during the Heb since they're important. (I have one very minor next week, but that's just one day gone.) Although we're going to do our best to keep the Heb going as strong as possible.

In another thread we had a some volunteers offering to help out and I think we might take up the offer for days we're away... like we've done a few times in years past, if anyone is interested I'll draw some prizes into a pool to let other stalkers run some games and give them out, (-8 I've always loved doing this because it adds a different layer to things with games done in ways that we might not have tried or neat takes on other forum games. I think that might be a fun choice to fill in some of our missing time!
