We're taking it easy and having a relaxing day watching movies, solving table puzzles, reading, and playing video games! I'm pretty happy that this has been a time to recharge because work has been so stressful lately, and it's been nice to sit back and unwind ^^ We are lucky to have so many friends and family members who like to cook and gift, because I suddenly found myself under piles and piles of food to last me into next week. xD And we haven't had any blackouts yet—so fingers crossed there. Once this arctic blast clears up in a day or two we should be okay if it does. Glad your computer troubles are somewhat resolved (even if temporarily), Pooka. ETA: Also, the house buns wish you all a merry christmas too! ^^ |

Everything sounds delightful Rasa, and Angel, (-8 I haven't had deviled eggs in like... way to long and I love them! Blackouts and cooking never mix... I've made some creative meals without electricity. (I made tea with our fondue pot last time!) I made ramen in a coffee maker one time in a hotel room. XD I'm sure housekeeping wondered what in the world I'd done. XD |

*flops over and rubs her tummy* The tank is full, let the food coma begin. Granted we only had some shrimp, a roasted potato and the prime rib with the gravy, but it was filling...and sooooo goooood.
