There's now a snow castle wall around our jeep to high to look over! ...and it looks like we've got another heavy snow day on the way here. Counter intuitivly for many others situations, the more snow we get here the warmer we are because it insulates out trailer well... (at least for the limited time we're still in it that is)
Our holiday was quiet and lovely, (-8

We watched two very untraditional Yule films this year that I really enjoyed and thought I'd mention! There is a good chance that neither of these are most peoples cup of holiday cider, but I bet more people will like them than sardines, (-8 Both are not for kids, just sayin' First up was Violent Night which is big budget enough for everyone to have probably seen an ad or two. Without any spoilers, people who like Die Hard as a Christmas movie will probably dig this one, (-8 Some of the mythology from this one was similar to one of our own home RPs (where characters like Pooka's Juniper and Peppermint come from!) though my version was a bit more Positive than the film version, (-8
Next up is a very very hard to explain one put out by Adult Swim called The Fireplace. This is labelled as comedy/horror and that's pretty spot on. I know there's not a ton of horror fans lurking around here, but this one totally needs a mention because it did something NEW and unexpected which is super rare nowadays. It breaks a lot of formulas, is kind of experimental and you hardly know what you are watching. To quote someone else review, "I don't know what I just watched, but I can't stop thinking about it and I want to watch it again." I'm not 100% sure this will be a classic or is the best thing I've ever scene but I do know that I've never seen anything like it which is a huge plus for me, (-8 It's also interesting that this concept would not work for movie theatre but is perfect for a TV...
I think the only new movies we saw that was family friendly and actually good was the animated Scrooge film on Netflix... I think we already mentioned that one, but it was delightful, (-8 and Spirit, which was also really pretty good!

I meant to respond but the holidays have gotten away from me... :') I love sardines! And anchovies! Especially anchovies on my pizza, lol. I grew up eating a lot of seafood and fish, so it never bothered me. I have good memories of my mom making us Sunday breakfast of sardines baked in a tangy tomato sauce that we would eat with a crusty bread and pickled veggies. Hmm, it's a bit like shakshouka minus the eggs We also did watch Scrooge after your recommendation and I really enjoyed it! Musicals make me cringe sometimes, but this one was good fun and reminded me that Luke Evans (who plays Scrooge) sure knows how to sing. He's so dreamy, lol! xD

Annnd!! I want to properly introduce my new witch, Hazel, (hah witch hazel puns) She's really a fairy but the witch title was good PR, because ya know, enchanted holiday baked goodies ^^ And was inspired by my other Pastry Witch who is Halloween themed! xD Plus, a new reindeer for my collection <3

There can never be enough bunnies around here! (-8 Bunny Bakers go on my list with bunny Pookas, bunny FF wilderness warriors, bunny priests of Frith, to all the Floppsy bunnies to bunny daemons, to star wars smuggler bunnies to cursed zodiac bunnies to time travelling hallucination bunnies, definitely vorpal bunnies from Caerbannog, to tournament fighting bunnies and even biker bunnies... just off the top of my head! also I just love adding those fluffy little bunny tails, (-8
