Yule 2022 - Letters for Santa

All of the North Pole was filled with excited energy... it was only one day to Yuletide Eve! After the group spent the day wrapping presents on a Rube Goldberg-esque factory line, Peppermint wiped her brow with the back of her paw and once again offered to take everybody out for hot cocoa and treats!

When everybody is cheerfully having their after work drinks she has an announcement.


"As you know, tomorrow is Yuletide Eve and the Santa of this world wishes to reward you for all of your hard work up until now. So he has made an offer that everybody who has helped out at some point to write a letter to him asking for one special present." she beams hoping that everybody is as excited as she is.

"He's still very busy but I can deliver them to him. I'll need the letters by Yuletide Eve, tomorrow night, or it will be too late to get your special present ready."

It's time to write your letters to Santa and get one of your rewards for helping out. ^_^

Everybody who entered any game, even once, may post their letter.

(Please do not post anything else in this thread but your entry (sphinx and letter). If you have questions/comments put them in the 'Yule 2022 - Welcome to the North Pole' thread)


To enter for your gift simply post in this thread a picture of your sphinx (who will be getting the item. If it's an alt cert specify by the picture.), followed by a letter to Santa where the present is to be asked for. Put the name of the present in BOLD CAPITALS so it's easy to find in the text/letter.
(Note: Cubs are not allowed to have alt certs because it throws growings off.)


You need to actually write a letter for your sphinx. Stating that they're good, maybe where they live, possibly questions about the reindeer or the North Pole, etc. (Whatever you wish, but make it a letter.) and make sure to include the present they wish for.

I have been very good this year. I have recently added to my little garden of veggies and medicinal herbs. To it I have added a chicken coop and am looking to add a HEN (I will name one of the hens Henrietta) or two along with a rooster. I hope that the reindeer and elves at the North Pole are doing well as I know this is a stressful time of the year. Please all of you do your best to relax and recover when the holiday season ends.

ooo! Hi! How are ya!? Ooo, Im soo excited! See, I saw some of your elves helping around and they were soo HAPPY! Like, stocked up on peppermint sticks happy! So, um, can I possibly maybe sorta kinda ask if it might just be a bit ok to shadow some of the elves (NORTH POLE ELF UPGRADE) this year? I promise to be on my very very best behavior! Maybe I can try my paw at toy race cars. Eee! Oh, can you imagine how the little cobs would feel if they got one of those for yule? Im so EXCITED!!

I hope this letter finds you well and in good health. I would like to think that I have been good this year, and have a simple request I would like to make. Working in my laboratory gets very lonely, and I would love a friend to have by my side, and I've just the perfect idea for one! If it's possible, sir, I would like to ask for a MOUSE to accompany me both in my laboratory while I work on making new and exciting things, and on whatever amazing journeys that life deems fit to take me on!



Forgive me for my droning, however, I do have one question for you. Out of all the cookies you eat during your awe-inspiring travels, what type or flavor of cookie is your favorite one? I prefer a nice, simple, chocolate chip cookie myself! It just seems like a wonderful thing to sample so many different varieties and flavors of cookies from all around the world!

Now that we have that covered, you know I was framed by the other elves regarding last years "gaseous" explosion from the reindeer while you were delivering presents. I swear I did not feed them beans.

Dear Santa,

I know I must be a bit old to be writing you a letter (I think the cubs usually partake every year), but if there's one thing I learned... is that you can be a kid at heart! I made a big change this year and moved to Albion to get away from the deserts of Akhet. Mostly, I moved looking for a new start for the right reasons. And soooo, you maybe wandering, well what am I doing now? Well, I'm not sure yet. You see, I've been working most of my life and wanted to take a break to just have fun. I think a SACK OF PRESENTS would do the trick!

I'd be sure to these gifts with my new dragon neighbors, too. I'll leave at the front of their dens just in case.

Dear Santa,
I have been a very good girl this year. I made sure to help my parents with chores around the house and if I made a mess, I cleaned it up. I took care of my kitty, her name is Miu. I made sure to bathe her and feed her and give her treats. For Christmas, I would like a SNOW GLOBE please. Dear Santa,

I have been very good this year! I have been helping at the North Pole and plan to help deliver toys to the children, too! I even returned the sleigh I borrowed for the races without a scratch on it, though it was a little damp. For this year, I would really like a YULE TREE. You see I don't actually have one, and it would be wonderful to have one to celebrate properly. Can you imagine it, a cute little tree with little round little ornaments? It would be so festive and help me to celebrate this time of year properly! I have heard that you can tell who is naughty and who is nice. How do you do it? Is there a magic mirror that you use, or do you have a secret spy network all over the world? That would be super cool! And maybe a little scary... Never mind about that. I hope you like cookies because I'll be making you some for your efforts! Have a wonderful trip and pet your reindeer for me!

Dear Santa,

Firstly, thank you for all that you do in preparation and execution of the holiday season. After spending my year in Katterheim dedicated to the holiday season I now have firsthand appreciation for all that goes into this glorious season. In all that I have done behind the scenes to help make the season a success for all I believe I have been a good this year.  If this is the only time I get to "toot my own horn" I'd just like to share in the things I have been doing, from helping to deck the halls to assisting in baking gingerbread for the houses, collecting donations, gathering firewood (and coal), feeding the reindeer, ribbon tying, prepping the wassail, sharing laughter and to the many other tasks that go into the preparations. I have put my best foot forward to do whatever I can with a smile and cheer.

I also have been secretly working on my singing voice so that I could sing loudly and with confidence this season. I heard once that, "The best way to spread Yuletide cheer is singing loud for all to hear." And although I have plenty of practice still to do I am so happy to be able to share my voice with all to hear in spreading the glad tidings of the season. Which leads me to my request: I would love to be able to get gussied up to sing with the other carolers to share in the singing fun. So, if it is not too forthcoming, could I ask for a Caroler upgrade (alt cert)?

Anyway, I know you are busy and I cannot even fathom how you read all the requests that you are sent. Don't forget to take care of yourself and enjoy all the cookies and milk that your heart desires!

Dear Santa,

I have been a very very good boy for my new momma and daddy this year. I did all my chores (well... maybe not every day), helped Mama Jewel make her medicines, and helped Papa Creamy take care of his armor. I was also very kind to their cats. They said that since I have been so helpful and kind to their animals, that I can get a pet of my own this year!

I would really like a Goose. They're smart, their feathers make good quills so I will have lots of pens to practice writing with, and they lay eggs so they make a good source of food.

Dear Santa,

I know a lot of people think it is silly that me, an adult, still writes to you, but I know you are real. I've been very good this year, and I've tried to help people even though they are a little afraid of me because of how I look. I've been quietly helping to spread Yule cheer by delivering packages around the cities and making sure no one gets left out during the holiday season. I hope you are well and the reindeer are healthy. There are so many looking forward to your visit this year and I am among them.

If it is not too much to ask, this year I'd like to have a wig... maybe to help me attract a partner to spend some time with. I've thought a lot about it, and I think the WIG - NEROLI would look very nice on me.

I'm really sorry that trying to be Santa went so horribly wrong. I didn't know Nick had been in the reindeer nip before we left, and he got lost. I did try though. Please don't put me on the Naughty List. For Christmas I'd really like a PENGUIN. I'd name him Pyramus becuase it's such a classy name, and I'd treasure him.
