That's awesome news Pooka!! Congrats!!
I look forward to the event, but in the coming days I'm working on packing the last of what I'm taking with me to the apartment and getting the last little details set for the Celebration of Life/Birthday bash set for my mom on Saturday. I had a bit of an idea come to mind and....I need a lot of birthday candles XD After that, I have to work with my dad to start moving stuff over to the apartment. And...if my one fellow co-worker doesn't get back to me soon about when she's coming to get the bed and dresser...I'm taking the headboard with me to the apartment and donating the dresser. I'm not playing the game >.> She's had an entire MONTH to come get it. I hate packing. If it was just my stuff that I had to move, it wouldn't be too bad, but it's my stuff and mom's stuff. Yea, I need to thin things out, but if i can move it to the apartment and store what I can in the garage and some in the attic...I can work on that a bit more.
Anyway...rambling...sorry XD Congrats again on being cancer free and looking forward to the event!!

*flexes social muscles again* Pooka's kept everyone updated on our last few months (of growing grey hair, doctors nervously practicing polite bedside manners, cross province surgery drives and 1000% effort into keeping Pooka entertained and distracted!) which is had an awesome and successful conclusion, (-8
I don't like vanishing with a full inbox... but I'm right back on that now sorry to keep everyone waiting on trades (and generally being unsocial and not answering some sweet PMs...)
On trades, I did have a thought while we were busy... I think I'm planning on reversing/modifying my current formula for trades. Once everything is all caught up, I'm going to put up a new trading thread that will be open for most of the year and I'm only going to close trading season during our events. I think that might smooth out the process a bit while also not slowing down events when our hands are full. I'm pretty sure that's a good idea, (-8
I had a second idea in the trades area I almost added this time... I think I'll also add a donation or rehoming option. Occasionally I notice that sometimes people end up with a Sphinx that doesn't click for them and also can't seem to trade. I'd be happy to take those ones back and do ... something with them, whether add them back into the prize pools, send them off to Selene IV or Rosemary or Talalara for a refashion and get them back out there where they might have a chance to find a new life, (-8
...and I'll add a wrap up post for the Heb soonish... (and double check a few things that were basically done, but may have needed a check/confirmation) yikes we did just kinda have to run there!
I also see Pooka's been teasing my next pet project, (-8 Let me see how long it takes me to catch up then maybe I can drop a hint myself... or just get it started!

Have to share. New species of lizard was discovered in Laos. It was named Khammouan Karst Dragon (Laodracon Carsticola). I am so excited!!
