The Redbone song I posted was a pretty big hit (they had a few in the 70s) but they've also had a pretty big comeback due to being on the Guardians of the Galaxy playlist. Some of the songs even got back on the popular charts a few years back!)

Gentle Cougar pads her way towards the shore where the small boats carrying visitors are arriving.

"More visitors. Welcome, as Spring Creek, the chief of the People of the Bear tribe, said you look like you've seen better days" she put a paw to her chest. "I am Gentle Cougar and I bid you welcome."

Never Listens nearly falls over her paws in a rush to get to the shoreline. New visitors meant more curiosities, and there was even a more diverse group of sphinxes then she had seen before.
"Hello!!" she waved "If you don't mind I do have a spell to help you understand our language. In this tribe some of us have learned foreign languages but it may be easier if you can speak ours."
She paused in an afterthought. "Oh, right. I'm called Never Listens. I guess a testament to my parents' frustration with me." she winks.
