Cynamynn followed the group and in seeing the cuteness, she went for one, but was not quite fast enough to catch one before she was once again through the portal. Maybe she could come back another time to get one.

Mistletoe had been completely distracted by the cute little round thing. It was just so adorable! She had to run to catch up to the others. "Wait for me!"

Drummer Girl and the Mouse

The large multi purpose building you appear in seems to be 50 percent workshop and 50 percent laboratory and 50 percent storage of curious and 50 percent armory and... no wait that's to many percents. There was a lot of stuff going on in this room! As everyone hops through the portal we seem to interrupt a recital of sorts. A musician was beating her drum playfully while several... mice? ... danced around at her feet!








Drummer Girl: "Oh hi there!" said the drummer seemingly barely phased by our unconventional entrance. "I'm sorry but the Captain isn't in at the moment. Off on that secret North Pole miss.. hey some of you look like you might be from the North Pole! Is this a coincidence or is the Captain with you? Oh, Captain Nemo." She clarified.

A quick scan showed no Goblin Santa and Peppermint confirmed that she was from the North Pole like some of the other helpers.

Drummer Girl: "Ah what a lucky coincidence! You being here I mean. I know the Captain wanted to make a connection with Santa and had in fact been working on creating some toys as a offering of good will and alliance. He's always big on working with people he respects and he definitely seems to approve of Santa's methods and anti-consumerism gift giving. Oh yes and the Goblin... lets take a look! This island tends to distort several kinds of magic so he most likely appeared somewhere else nearby."

The Drummer Girl moves to an area with curious scrying devices and begins to use switches to invoke their magic, while clockwork mice slowly started to wind down around her. She motioned dramatically to one of the devices!

Drummer Girl: "There he is! Oooo, I bet he's regretting flying near the aviary!"

The scene on the scrying device showed a terrified Fake Santa thrashing the jingle bell reigns in a frenzy while several giant birds of prey, each bigger then the sleigh itself and some with trailing tinsel streamers, gained on the Goblin and his raccoon accomplices! With a flash he very narrowly escaped though another portal while a massive eagle snapped its beak in thin air seconds later.

Mayloin assured us that now that they had a piece of Santa's Regalia she could follow again quickly and we won't be at all behind due to this dimensional hiccup!

Drummer Girl: "If it's ok with you, I'd love to help! I feel it's what the Captain would have wanted. Also I've got a box of these mice for you!" She said passing the crate to Peppermint. "A gift from Captain Nemo for your toy giving endeavours! Oh, there's a couple more test mice around if anyone would like one, grab one if you'd got time!

Most likely. Delibirds are apparently 2'11, so about the size of one of the larger dogs. That's assuming it's main file is big enough (I think it is.)

In order for a chance to win the Drummer Girl we need FOUR players. Someone needs to post the word "ONE" in an enlarged font, followed by another person posting the word "TWO" also in an enlarged font, followed by a third person posting the word "THREE" in an enlarged font followed by a fourth person posting the word "FOUR" in an enlarged font. These posts MUST be in sequence with no interruptions or mistakes, or the game starts over again from the beginning! The four players who pull this off will be entered into a draw for the Drummer Girl!

We are in a rush so don't have time to search the chaotic room for wandering wind up mice... but some of us can grab one if we're quick and lucky!


Everyone may roll a d20 in this thread along with the title of this contest, "and the Mouse". The first person to roll a natural 20 will win a windup toy mouse and so will the person who posted a dice roll directly above and directly below this natural 20! (any conversational or non game posts will be ignored for this game.)

You may make another roll if at least 3 other people have posted dice rolls since your last dice roll. (as long as there are at least 3 contest entries by other players you may roll again... and again... until we have a winner!)
