Menageries seem like a really cool idea. I don't think I have an Sphinxes that have menageries though... LOL May need to change that.

They made cherry coke permanent. I wish vanilla was as well. You can only get it with those fancy machines in some fast food joints

Question: Are the mons some of us already own recognized here on Mon Island? (Vallhalleon, Sphinxeon, Celesteon, Merryberry, Scorchat, the legendaries, and various others from the Hanashima Heb) Professor Coconut: The short answer is definitely yes they are! Hardly a day goes by without a story of some weird, wonderful or magical new creature is discovered on Mon Island, especially lately. We like to take a rather broad perspective on the topic and our culture is built out of Mons from vastly different worlds and backgrounds mixed with local pets and Sphinxes. Many enjoy battling for fun while others needed to battle for survival, some grew up on ranches or had jobs, other escaped digital worlds and many even bore different names unique to their home worlds such as Yokai or Pals. The tricky question is not really are certain Mon recognised but rather what is the definition of Mon. ...and that is a true Buneary-hole I tell you! Especially when you mix Sphinxification and Monification into the equation! Many Mon seem to be happy and content in a pet like form while some take on more Sphinx qualities and they in turn often collect their own new Mon, while considering themselves a type of Mon or in some cases, descended from a Mon line... but really most simply accept that they are Mon or that any pet they train, battle, ranch or raise are Mon! There may be a few philosophical debates on the topic but really most are happy to let anyone make their own call on what a Mon is or isn't.

I'm happy people are interested in the Pet Backgrounds! I'd originally tried to conceive of some fun way to display Larger pets that didn't fit on certs and crossed the thought over with Pokemon and then got super excited at the picnic idea, (-8 My first thoughts were just a simple spot for a horse and a bear but when Pooka created the field background I really couldn't stop myself and just kept wanting to dress it up, like adding things to an aquarium! I figured they make for great RP images as well, in a way to show off a Sphinx who has lots of pets but doesn't always want a giant cert, or to decorate something special up that represents a particular herd or menagerie... and some of the earlier comments about different backgrounds could be excellent for this as well if the prove popular enough!
Also, the base image is fairly huge and we don't have to use the whole thing, like in one of the samples. We can clip parts of it to make a cozy little scene or we can make it huge and show a giant herd. Also, even the fence has been created especially separate so we can make it smaller to show different proportions, though an item or plant added in there can do the same. A simple item or two really does mix things up as well... say a pile of treasure with a few different dragon pets, or a Yule tree with a penguin, polar bear and merryberry, or a dead looking tree along with a raven, a bat and little demon! they're all pretty evocative of an RP effect, (-8 I know I'm gonna have to much fun with them!

I actually made it so wide for if the cert had to be stretched, not the other way around. I intended for the background on the cert to be more cut off, with the widened version made only preemptively for the inevitable 'hoard of pets' that would show someday. ^^;

I figure each will be built around the pets (and possibly items) added to each on, (-8 We wouldn't use the whole giant background and just stick one tiny bunny on there! ...but I wanted to display the whole thing so everyone could see the potential! ...there's also lots of background and room to make many many smaller collections/certs all feel and look unique and special on their own.
