I overheard a really interesting IC conversation in the Stormreach marketplace today. The gist of it was that a dwarf was claiming there were no lawful good drow, and a drow elf (who must have been LG themselves) was trying to talk the dwarf out of his idea.
Result: I now want a drow paladin x)

An Announcement:Tomorrow on DDO I will run a special series of quests for Sphinx people. This does have two requirements though, one is that your character is 5th level (no lower, 6th is fine, 7th should be okay). The second is that you have access to the Phiarlan Carnival adventure pack. This is a quest series that isn't free to play, it's for either VIPs or those who bought the pack for 450 turbine points (aprox $5).. but once you have bought the pack you have it forever with all of your characters and on every server. I will only have room for 5 people, if there is somehow more I'll figure out something or see if there is a guide who knows the quest, and what the reveal is to help you guys through it. But if I can't get a helper it will be only open for the first 5 people to join. All of those who participate right until the end of the 4 quests I will be giving you a premade sphinx with the new special, 'thing' that is being revealed tomorrow. (Can't say if it's a class, or a trait, or what since I'm being sly. ) At the end of the last quest I will give you a huge hint of what's been happening in the background of Ahket! (Right before the RP based reveal in the thread.) I'll be expecting people who want to join to be on and sign up at 12:00 (noon) EST tomorrow, once the first 5 party slots are filled up the first party is done. We'll need some time for preparing, just in case, and I expect to be starting the quests around 12:30-1:00 pm (EST). Those who have run the quest before, but not with me since the Heb started, may also join in for the prize. ^_^ Tsukiclowes took part in this offer I gave on DDO one day, so she doesn't need to run the quest and is considered to have completed it and will receive a premade with the new thing as well. So basically....~ DDO quest run tomorrow ~ Be there by 12:00 PM EST ~ You will need a character of level 5 or 6 (maybe 7) ~ You will need access to the Phiarlan Carnival Adventure Pack ~ First 5 with the prerequisites above are let in If there are many more I'll see if I can find a helper, but it may not be possible. ~ Those who participate all the way to the end will receive a premade sphinx with something new... and a big hint about what's happening in the background of the RP (before the reveal tomorrow). Probably not tomorrow, but sometime soon we will do another free to play quest with different rewards for those who don't have access and don't want to get access to the Phiarlan Carnival Adventure Pack.
Don't feel obliged to go by this package, it just has something in it that is good for the reveal, and is the only one of low enough level with that 'something'. We will do another free to play game/giveaway very soon.
