This is unfortunate information just before the Heb~Bastet but it has already been explained in PM to a few concerned individuals and will absolutely come up during the Heb so here goes. First off I just posted in the FAQ section about how vital Sphinx files are to keeping Sphinxes running properly and until now we have never ever had a problem concerning files. We are missing a large number of Sphinx files from Lostdollie and are not expecting to ever get them from her now. This problem HAS affected a couple of stalkers already but we are now taking steps to ensure that this will not be a problem for anyone else. I'd also like to mention that with the exception of Lostdollie we have never ever had a problem getting all of our files from the rest of our amazing team (in a timely manner!) and that every file from every other artist is regularly handed in and backed up.
First a summery of the problem. Out of the blue, Lostdollie wrote and said that she planned to go on a 'hiatus' and that she would no longer be continuing any started projects (like the birthday club) or saving any of her Sphinx files. I made a list of files that we still needed (which was huge) and many of the files were sent in but many were not. I offered LD several means of easy file sharing to make sure that she could send all of the important files to us (I tested other file sharing programs because LD was having trouble with using dropbox and even offered to buy a physical hard drive, have it sent to LD and pay for postage to mail it to us but no attempt to use these programs was tried and other suggestions were ignored). My last mail from Lostdollie was "I'll see about getting these put in dropbox soon. I've been busy with school (the quarter is finishing) and the holidays. " dated December 7th/2013. I no longer get responses to my mails about updates on the file situation.
I did try to give LD the benefit of the doubt and wait as long as possible but unfortunately my inbox has upgrades that will soon put us in a situation were we will be breaking PI rules and could get Sphinxes banned or suspended so we will be taking things into our own hands.
Any outstanding Lostdollie jobs or projects will now be handled by the Sphinxes account. We have also had very kindly offers from some team members to help with these jobs as well. ...so please do not worry about LD Sphinx that you own or leftover project, they will all be done by us now. Some files will have to be totally recreated from scratch (complete new colour jobs and possible reimagining of unseen file parts covered by costumes) and anything that LD has left behind (like personalized vouchers) can also be sent to Sphinxes. Some of these jobs may take more time then usual (especially Sphinx files that have to be totally recreated) but they will get done! It means much to much to us to make sure that Sphinx stalker is taken care of.
There is still a short window of opportunity for Lostdollie to fix this problem but until then unfortunately she is no longer on the Sphinx team and everything to do with LD's Sphinxes has been suspended. Further action may be required but I sincerely hope that things can be resolved otherwise.
I know that this can be kind of heavy news so if anyone has any problems or questions please feel free to send me a mail and talk about it! (please don't send me the 'Do you have X file' question though because weather we have it or not anything sent into Sphinxes will be done as usual no matter if we have the file or not.)
