Hey there! You've probably noticed that we've dramatically slowed down over the last several months (almost a year...) and we've been trying to figure out how to fix that and look towards the future. I don't usually talk much about personal things in public... and I'm not going to start now, (-8 but seriously we've had a few very serious life changes over the last year that have really affected our work and productivity, especially some (yea, more than one) lifestyle changing medical diagnoses. We are still trying to figure out how to deal with and live with some of these changes and finding a balance that we can maintain has been elusive, but we're working on it! There are still several Sphinx projects we're working on but we do have one major change that I'm hoping will help things run much more smoothly and help us out.
Pooka is going to step back from fully running Sphinxes and I (Mr. Pooka) am going to take that job over. It might seem like a minor change on the surface but it will have a dramatic change on this end of things. How does this change things for our followers/stalkers? Well mainly we ask that all questions about Sphinxes should be sent to the Sphinxes account on PI or Mr. Pooka here and not to Pooka. This includes everything from simple costume questions to requests/bribes to problems etc. Messages sent to Pooka that fall into these categories might get missed or ignored. (Pooka will not be answering these and with no forward option on PI...)
For the time being Pooka will be working much like our other artists, working on projects when she feels inspired and participating in events and threads when she can.
I think that's really it atm. This little change alone I hope will have some big changes on this end that will get us back into a stronger work zone! It is very important for us to remove stress from Pooka's day to day and sometimes that stress comes from the oddest sources which I can hopefully filter away from her, (-8
