Nylora grins with the questions and gently shakes her head. "So you wish to know more of the vampiress? Well become comfortable human and I shall tell you what you wish to know." She shifted her wings and sat back a little. "I was turned by another named Paru. He had taken a liking to me after he saw me first perform. He invited me out to dinner and charmed me. Of course I didn't know he was a vampire at the time, he kept that hidden. My brother was uneased about him and my parents were okay. He asked me to marry him and I accepted. Though before our wedding, my parents and brother were murdered by an assassin Paru hired. I didn't find this out till later. He turned me in my sleep, but made it seem like it was all a dream. He took me to the brink of death and when I woke, I was vampire. Paru though is no longer around. When I found out the truth of my family's death, I killed him."
She shifted once more and tapped her chin a moment. "How long? Oh dear, I've lost count to be honest. I still look as if I'm twenty five. To be honest I no longer keep track that much. I think the last time I counted, which was the other day, I've been this way for...about fifty years. I'm still considered young for a vampire, but I don't care. All I care about is those that come into my life and don't see me as a monster who lurks in the shadows and pounces others for their blood."
She gave a soft laugh. "Weaknesses? Well I am allergic to garlic, can't be near the stuff. I start having sneezing fits. Silver...is touch and go. I can wear silver jewelry so long as it has been spelled by a magician to not harm me. Otherwise it will burn. Sunlight? Oh I can walk around in the sunlight, but if I'm in it for too long I get horrible headaches. Never fun. Stakes? Oh please. Those are good for holding down tents. Holy Items I can surprisingly be around and not be harmed by them. Fire I am still a little weary of. Not sure what it would do so I keep my distance really." Soft sigh came from her. "Now my hunger does often get to me and to keep myself sane, I will go out and hunt wild animals and drink their blood. Again, I don't want to harm anyone and have a hunter after me."
She lay down and crossed her front legs over one another. "My living quarters? Well I don't live in a lair or cave if that's what you're thinking." She chuckled again. "No, I found a modest home, one that is large enough for myself and a husband if I ever find one and for some cubs if I ever have any. Of course I wouldn't mind having that handsome vampire Prince Dark over sometime." She purred and wiggled a little. "Oh sorry. Well after I came here, I worked for my coin and saved every bit of it till I had enough and once I did, I found my humble abode. It is nothing ultra fancy, but it is decked out the way a belly dancer might live. Some nice silk curtains, large comfy pillows, a large plush bed....okay so it is a little more than humble, but it is not like the palace."
Gentle yawn came from her and she rolled to her back and stretched a moment before rolling back over. "Hiding this? Well I do my best to hide it. I am not master of it, but I can get by without someone knowing I'm a vampire. I have slipped up a few times and the other run off screaming their head off about a monster. My cue to leave and go home. So far though I've no had any hunters come after me and I'd like to keep it that one. I am getting a bit better though with the living illusion, but it may take me a while more till I master it. I often pray to Anubis to help me, guide me. I feel that he helps."
