Talalara Refashioning and Transformation Weekend Getaway!
The music was pounding out a hypnotic beat and magical lights were flashing in complex patterns along with the song as Talalara was dancing with Satiah in the packed basement. The walls of the ancient stone building shook and an enchantment caused the dust falling from the ceiling to turn into multi-coloured glitter as it drifted slowly onto the throng of bouncing and twisting dancers. Satiah wiped the sweat from her brow and mouthed something to Talalara but her words were drowned out by the song. The drow bard focused her own voice and with a touch of deep magic suppressed the sound around the pair just enough to hear Satiah as she repeated "Sorry, I have to go. With the holidays just about to begin I've got to get my shop open early in the morning!". Talalara was not ready to loose her dancing partner and pondered for only moments before her skill at skirting rules and obligations showed her the way. "I can't let you leave darling, the night is still young!" While she was having crazy fun, Satiah had heard rumors that sometimes Sphinxes would totally disappear with these drow girls and not come back for days or weeks and she had a business to run. "Sorry, I really have to..." she was cut off by Talalara's playful tsking. "I want to make a purchase... how much to buy your whole shop out of inventory?" The shopkeeper smiled with a don't be silly kind of look "Oh there is way to much to..." again she was cut off by glint of gold and jewels that seemed to tumble endlessly from the drow's pearl encrusted purse. "Maybe we can dance a bit longer?" Satiah said hypnotized by the pile of treasure. It would be well after sunup when the drow pressed her paws to her eyes to block the sun that she began to wonder what she was going to do with all the new stuff she had just bought... Well that would be the second thing to ponder after she figured out where she woke up that was...
Welcome to my Refashioning and Transformation Weekend! It looks like it will be a bit wild, a bit experimental and absolutely entertaining! I know what you are thinking... its just like me! *wink* I've also brought along my shared consort Kezzer to help out with some of his transformational magic and piercing tool kit, and, well, up the eye candy level of the weekend!
Talalara explains how to participate in the Refashioning...
This weekend is similar to a shop with two major differences. Talalara is not selling any items but is doing makeovers but appointment! Slots will be listed and are given out in a first come first serve basis and the jobs will be done right away with more slots opening up every time all the previous slots are done until we run out of time. The next major difference is that you have many more options then the usual shop items. Changing hair colour, dying some costume pieces and even adding new traits are all potential options!
When slots open up below mail Mr. Pooka here on the RP forums that you'd like a slot. You may only get one slot each time slots are put up. Each slot is good for ONE SPHINX's Refashioning(with the exception of things that might other Sphinxes such as a marriage). You Sphinxes makeover can have as much/many things as you'd like to get done with them!
Examples of what you can do with Refashionings slots using Mr. Pooka's Sphinx Irielynn.
example #1 - Irielynn wants to change her hair colour to black. $1
example #2 - Irielynn wants to buy the wig from the new Ranger costume and have it coloured blonde. $5 (when a wig is added you may ask for a simple colour change included with the price/coupon)
example #3 - Irielynn wants to become a mystic ninja $10, have the major part of the costume coloured green $2, use a different wig (the female multi-braid) $5 and have it coloured light brown, add a pair of antlers $5, add a nose stud 25K PG, and some coin earrings 500K PG. She also asks if it is possible to keep her harp (from her last class) and I determine that it will work $1. She also asks if she can get a wink animation added to her and for her it is also possible $1. She also asks if she can have the silky leg trait added to her, but unfortunately that won't work with her file. total $22 + 525K PG

There are a lot of possibilities and combinations listed below and some might not be possible but your welcome to ask or try it out! (examples of things that might not work out... some of the original wigs or costumes are not templated and cannot be coloured at the moment, adding an animated item/option might not work with some other animations, a new trait might not fit properly with existing traits/wigs/costume etc.)

Add a Sphinx trait to an existing Sphinx (This is the category that is most likely to run into problems and I might have to say no a lot, sorry! Some other traits not on the list might also be possible, feel free to ask if you get a slot and I can check on a case by case basis. Any trait that needs colouring will have simple colouring it match or compliment the existing Sphinx.)

Other Requests! (this is a catchall for anything else that you might want that is not on the list and might be possible. Removing a piece of a costume, adding a piece from another costume, a cert adjustment, moving a pet/item placement, a pet fairy of a certain colour, and probably 1000 things didn't think of. I can't make any promises but you are welcome to ask if you get a slot and I'll see what I can do!) Feel free to ask me if you don't see something listed above. Some things will have blanket yeses or noes but some are also determined on a case by case basis due to different file times, combinations and many other factors. (wings might work on one Sphinx, but not another...)
