Twin darker tan spots appeared on her cheeks as a blush flushed her features. " I.. well.. uhm.. thank you " she stammered, feeling a tingle down the trail of where his paw had touched. What had come over her? Had either Noir, or the fairy that followed him dumped a bucket of fairy dust on her? From kissing him in front of so many others, even his own sister! To this.. A part of her wondered if she'd been on land too long. " Is it just me.. or.. does it feel like there's.. an extra charge or something, to the air around us..? " she blurted out without really meaning to, wondering if she had sunstroke or something.

Aurelio's eyes widened in surprise when Belle said she felt it too. "Oh.. I thought I was the only one!" Immediately he then cast a suspicious glare at his faery. "Eve? Was that you? Ugh... I hope Solita hasn't taught you any spells..." Eve looked nervous, yet blameless, and she fluttered away hiding behind Aurelio. "Belle, I..." Aurelio began again. He really wasn't very good at this whole romance thing. "I don't think it's Eve, at least... and if it isn't then I feel like... you might be who is making me feel this way." He gazed deep into her eyes with his piercing amber ones and hoped she would understand what he meant.

She glanced over at the fairy , looking apologetic " I'm sorry Eve , its not your fault it seems.." Blue eyes returned their sapphire gaze back to the male in front of her. " Then that must make two of us because you sir are causing some very odd feelings in me too, and I can assure you I didn't get any sort of potions, I wasn't dared to.. well you know.. kiss you back there.. and unlike Kiara I'm not a witch so I can't cast spells .." she raised a paw up, hoping he'd believe that she hadn't done anything to force him into anything.

Aurelio laughed a little. "Oh sweetheart, I know you haven't cast any spells... It's all right." He looked at her raised paw and softly grasped it with his own to reassure her. "Come, shall we go for a walk together? Maybe getting some more fresh air and changes of scenery will help us both cope with... whatever it is."

She wasn't sure which made her heart thunder more, his calling her sweetheart, or taking a hold of her paw, perhaps it was both together. She felt like a giddy little rebellious teenage sphinx out for her first encounter with a boy. "I.. can't believe you just called me that.." she murmured softly, tugging a lock of his hair out of his face. " And yes, a walk sounds lovely right now.."

Aurelio smiled to himself when Belle said she couldn't believe what he'd just said. He couldn't entirely believe it himself either, not because Belle wasn't lovely but because... Well, he didn't usually talk to women like this. Then he looked up into her eyes with his own piercing amber ones, in awe at what she'd done, moving his hair like that. Though he supposed he had already done that to her. He looked away slightly, unable to know how he should be reacting to this. Still, he began to lead her around the park and first he stopped in front of a beautiful tall fountain. The tiny drips of water that fell on those who stood near it were very refreshing. Aurelio sighed.
"Ah, this is better... The scorching sun wasn't the most helpful in clearing my mind." He stood for a while just basking in the tiny water droplets as they refreshed him and cleared his mind. He felt a little less giddy, but something hadn't changed. As he glanced at Belle standing beside him, he realised he still felt... peculiar about her. "Belle, this... water has cleared one thing up.. I don't think I'm under any spell right now. I think I... possibly may have fallen for you." He coughed slightly awkwardly. "And I'm sorry, I'm really not very good with all of this... perhaps that would explain my strange behaviour." He observed Belle one last time looking very beautiful in the sun, and turned his face back to the fountain and the mini shower it was giving him whilst the sun still shone on his face. This was bliss, and it was probably fairly obvious to anyone looking at him right now that he was a man who hadn't felt quite so contented as this for a long time.

She tilted her face up slightly to catch the water better. A few drops slid down the column of her neck, and danced against her pearl choker. Indeed the water felt lovely, but she still couldn't shake the fact that there was just, something, about this particular male, that no other could match. " I.." she stammered, the intensity of her emotions overwhelming her, a few tears slipped from her eyes to join the water on her face. Though these were far from sad tears, as she felt, as if she had wings at the moment. " I.. I love you too.." she managed, ducking her head slightly, shyly, attempting to hide her blush of happiness behind her blue and gold scarf.

Aurelio looked suddenly at Belle as his ears pricked up at her words. "You.. Belle, you-" He stopped himself. Talking here was useless, not when there were so many other better ways to react. He tilted her face upwards with his paw gently under her chin, and then when she was one his level again, he leaned in to kiss her. As their lips collided he suddenly felt the cool blissfulness of the water droplets beside them dull in comparison to the euphoria that overwhelmed him as he connected with this beautiful woman in this way.

She managed a brief nod of assent before he swept in. Framing his face with her paws she kissed him in return. This was not the teasing kisses she'd given him earlier while they watched the others. No, this was a kiss that proved her feelings true. And to feel them reciprocated by them, only intensified the weightless feeling she'd already been experiencing. She felt a deep longing, perhaps even a need, to be with this one, permanently, she found visions of cubs dancing through her mind for the first time in her life. She felt she was truly and utterly happy, at last.

Aurelio felt tingles all over his skin as Belle touched his face with his paws, and he closed his eyes in contentment as he kissed her. He truly had never felt this way before, especially not with any sphinx. His lips lingered on hers for a little while longer before gently pulling away. "Belle," He began, his amber eyes burning with intensity once more. "I've never felt about anyone before, the way I feel about you... I just want to be with you. Do you know what I mean? Gods, I hope you feel the same way..." He glanced at the ground slightly with shyness.

She met the burning intensity of those amber eyes with the warm, ocean like depths of her own blue ones. The adoration in their gaze would have been obvious to anyone. She lightly tugged the end of his hair, and used her other paw to bring his face back towards her. " Yes I know what you mean, and yes, Aurelio I do feel the same, I love you, and only you, no one else.." She felt as if a great weight had been yanked off her, when she let the words spill out. There was no deceit in them, only the pure honesty of someone who has found the right person for them at last. She leaned in, unable to resist kissing him again, as if to seal her words, her feelings, with the gesture.

Aurelio smirked a little as he felt Belle pull him back in for another kiss. He truly had never felt like this before, he knew because he had never felt so wonderful before. He was so glad that Belle seemed to also feel the way he did. Her words seemed to be as delicious and welcome as honey. He pulled away briefly so he could speak. "And I, Belle Starr, will never stop loving you." He cupped her face in his paws, enjoying the feeling of her beautiful silky blonde hair on his fingertips as he then kissed her forehead.

She let out a soft purr at the feeling of his paws against her skin. Snuggling herself as close to him as their clothed forms would permit her to be. " Nothing, not even death could make me stop loving you Aurelio.. I would even renounce my status as a pirate simply to be able to stay by your side for good.." She let her tail wrap around his in a gesture of solidarity. She was almost dizzy with happiness and love, only in her wildest dreams had she thought she could ever feel this way about another.

A low chuckle rumbled in Aurelio's throat as Belle snuggled close to him and said her words. "Of course you would... I have no doubt. And even if you were not willing to... I'm not sure if I would be able to stop myself from making you. Knowing what it is now, to be with you... I feel quite ill at the thought of you potentially leaving to sail on a boat full of low-life thieves." He cupped her face in his paws again so he could look her deeply in the eyes. "Please never leave me Belle." He whispered. "From now on, I have a feeling I'm going to need you like the oxygen I breathe."

The blush that had, it seemed, only moments ago left her cheeks returned. Splashing her tan features with warm rosy patches once again at his words. She gazed warmly into his eyes , her own full of honesty and love " I won't leave you, I swear, even if it takes the last of my coins to buy the contract to change my job solely that you don't need to worry about such a thing again.. I would do it " After all pirating had been a way to rebel,to escape her parents control, and now that she had found what made her happy on her own? What need for thieves and such was there?
