Eraiya and Perlesse had remained quit, Eraiya had pulled a worried expression over recent events while Perlesse skidded closer besides her in a slightly childish scared manner.
However pressing the situation seemed however, The crimson haired Sphinx did not seem scared.
She eyes the white furred girl a short moment before deciding it is best they found a new location to discuss.

"...would you like to take a stroll?"
Shen gathered his wits back together, politely thanking Chione for her attentions to his paw and turned to Song of the Earth,
"Alas my lady, I must be getting back to my duties, the mail never stops you know. I must ask you to hold on to that crystal for me, I'm going to try and find the sender of the package and explain what has happened. He may want the remaining piece back, but for now I feel it is safer in your hands..."
Shen fluffed out his wings, taking a few scrolls held out by other Sphinxes for sending and peered back at Song one last time,
"There is some dark power in that shard, take care that it does not go astray" he shuddered, and then leapt into the air, beating furiously to gain altitude.

Song of the Earth nodded. She had expected so but had hoped anyway. Oh well...she thought and smiled up at Shen.
She nodded in reply and her eyes wandered to look at the crystal again. What strange power does this little crystal hold she wondered. "I'll try and keep it safe," she told him. "Perhaps we will meet again, good bye!"
Song watched him go and kept a happy smile on her face before turning to Chione. "Shall we, unless, that is, you have other duties to attend?" she asked softly.

Chione frowned as she watched the messenger take off before shaking her head. She smiled brightly she turned to Song of the Earth and said "None at all! For the rest of the day I'm free!" Kamhila wandered over and Chione stood and said "I'd love to go for a stroll!" her smile never leaving her face.

"That's great!" Song replied. This time a small smile that was real appeared on her face. Her blue and green eyes twinkled and she started to set off before stopping. Song just realized that there were so many paths to take! To the North, East, West, South, or down one of the small paths she wondered.
"Is there a certain path you would like to take because I'm not sure which one we should journey on..." she asked Chione. "I think we should stay on one of the main paths though." Song of the Earth looked at the kitty, Kamhila, that stood beside Chione and smiled. The kitty was adorable and she hoped to get a cat soon herself.
