Nihebereah walked into the park, eager to enjoy the flowers, grass, and peace. The blue haired Sphinx was glad to be away from everyone finally, and to enjoy some time being on her own, and not forced to try and talk with everyone. It just never worked out well for her. Though, as she relaxed amongst the flowers, and listened to the soft sounds of the fountain, she couldn't help but remember a certain Sphinx she'd run into. She felt her cheeks get all warm and she shook her head, deciding to read from her rather worn out book on medicine to distract her mind. |

 Riesling was tired of darting about the shadows of the cityscape, hearing the din that was far too loud and reminded him nothing of home..a home he could never return to, he was surprised and elated to find a beautiful park.. it wasn't the darker beauty and danger of his homeland but..in a way that was...nice and didn't remind him of the darker aspect to his coming to Akhet.
He padded along, scanning about observing the flowers and plants he didn't know, and the few he knew and could name, his thoughts wandered as he went over the past couple days..he had mostly stayed away from the fighting but had joined in when he realized that there were too many enemies for those defending..and every person could perhaps alter the tide of battle.. but his thoughts shifted further, to a girl with a pelt reminiscent of a slightly cloudy sky, and dark blue eyes of the sky as the sun went down.. he pauses and quickly shakes his head, while they had said they would meet again..Akhet was huge, what was the chance they would run into one another?.... he padded along then blinks spotting something amongst a portion of flowers...he observed more intently, he had seen a few odd colored animals....then he stares as his mind registered that the girl he'd just been thinking about..was right there he rubs his eyes a moment checking it wasn't some sort of mirage.. then glances around, observing a lack of others about..did he go say hello?..or not...he hesitated before stretching and padding slowly over and eshitantly coughs lightly not wanting to startle Niheberah |

It took a moment for a small cough to register in her head. When it did, she did look and blinked, blushing and smiling softly. "R-Riesling! H-Hi!" She managed out with a soft squeak. She'd not expected to see him so soon and was excited and nervous at the same time. Closing her book, and picking it up, she did make her way over to him. "I-I'm so...so glad to s..see you." She said, blushing to her toes. "A...Are you..well?" She asked, looking at the very Sphinx that had caught her attention.
She couldn't help but blush more, he was just so stunning with that deep green pelt, and those stunning eyes that reminded her of the purest of emeralds. She shook her head a little to clear her mind, but the blush stayed if not getting darker.

Riesling dips his head in greeting " G..Good Aft....Afternoon Ni..Niheberah, It..ah..its good to see you as w..Well " he clears his throat trying to focus enough to not stutter quiet as much " I..im a..alright.. Wha...what about y..yourself?.. " he inquires shuffling his feet slightly, his face flushed with a rather bright blush, then blinks noticing her shaking her head rapidly and giving a slightly confused worried look wondering if hed done something wrong.. these people of Akhet had very different customs and he was not wanting to end up upsetting Niheberah....

She smiled, looking at him and felt a little better knowing she wasn't the only one blushing darkly. She smiled. "I...I'm better...N-Now." She said, blushing as she tried to get the rest of that sentence out. "N...Now that...y...you're here.." She managed out quietly. She hated being so shy, but he was so cute and she was worried about scaring him off. She wasn't sure of his customs, or what he'd find too much. However, this was about the most she'd spoken to anyone in her life.

Riesling brushes a bit of his hair back trying to ignore the fact he was blushing since thinking about it did not help "I..Im glad.. I.. I w..was wo..worried ab..about y..you a..aft..after I..i n..no..noticed y..you were in..injured..." he states noting the injuries in question before flushing further his ears easily hearing the quiet part, he clears his throat, nervous, but glad she seemed to not be upset with him, he wasn't sure how to help ease her nervousness...then again he wasn't really doing much better nervous wise...

She smiled, nogging. "Th..The pain...c..comes and goes..but I...I am okay!" She said cheerfully. She smiled, looking at him. "I..I'm so..g...glad y...yo..you're ok..ay.." She managed out, blushing again. "I..worried..a..alot." She said, trying so hard to push past her nervousness herself. She smiled, thinking maybe if they talked more, they wouldn't be so nervous around one another. "W..Would you...l...like t..to sit..wi..with me?" She asked, biting her lower lip. She was not good at this yet.

Riesling he frowns slightly but nods knowing how some injuries could be, he hesitates before speaking " m..maybe t..try a poultice o..of W..Water Avens,P..purple Loosestrife a..and Lotus?.." he hesitantly says, having noticed the book of medicnal herbs, he mainly knew the poisonous ones but knew enough for antidotes and a few basic recoveries ...he offers a nervous smile "t.they w..weren't very f..fast a..and I'm u..used to d..dealing with s..serpent v..vampires...t..they strike V..Very fast..." he blinks surprised by the inquiry but offers a small slightly less nervous smile "s..Sure I..if you..you don't mind the company?.." he checks hesitantly.

She smiled, nodding. "I- I will ask Fi...Fin..Fintan if he carries those." She said, happy for anything that might ease the pain up some. She did blink though at the mention of serpent vampires. "S...Ser..Serpent V..Vampires? W..What are they?" She asked, curious and a little frightened at the name as it was. However, at his inquiry about her asking for his company, she blushed, smiling. "I...I w..wou..would love...yo..your company.." She managed out quietly, blushing to her toes again.

Riesling nods hesitantly "I..im n..not sure I..if th..they are a...available b..but t..those were s..some of the ehrbs f..from m..my home.." he admits tail swishing then nods crinkling his face slightly as he calls to mind some of the serpent vampries hed " T..they are.. l..large snake l..like vampires.. I..iv seen..s..similar c..creatures here.. D...djets I..i think t..they are c..called? but vampires...they...are very fast..and its not just t..they vampiric change to worry about s..since many also produce venom.. " his voice had slowly become a little less stuttering as he spoke "T..they are led by a Vampire Queen..I..I Think s..she has s.sent some of her b..brood to Akhet...n..not All bad..but m..most of them would have preferred if only v..vampires lived in the swamp.." he notes, before moving to settle carefully his pelt and hair seemed a little lighter toned due to the clearer light, since he was usually in shadows it was different slightly shimmery in a way.

She smiled. "I..If he...knows they're..used ..f..for healing..he...he may have them." She said, pretty sure Fintan may have traded with other people from different places at some point. She did frown. "T...They...they sound s..so horrible.." She said, nuzzling him. "I..I'm sorry i-if I...I caused b..ad me..memories." She managed out, sitting with him. She couldn't help but notice the difference in his pelt when he was in the light and smiled. "I..I am...glad y..you and....I..I did..meet." She was slowly getting used to him, and slowly starting to get comfortable talking to him.

Riesling nods " t..They help a lot f..for injuries.. t..though y..youl wa..want to be careful t..they w..work for p..poultices bu..but some of those h..herbs are poisonous if ingested.." he advises clearing his throat " T..they weren't p..pelasent but t..they were th..the norm.. n..not encountering one or t..two a week was odd..a.a.nd s..some of t..them w..weren't so bad I..if they weren't u..under orders o..or hungry.." he admits then shakes his head" No,no its ok.. t..those memories a..aren't so bad, A..and sometimes I..it was funny I..i was pretty good with traps...s..so I would s..sometimes lead them on a chase" he chuckles "S.s.erpent v..vampire upside down in a t..tree w..was a favorite o..of mine." he flashes a small smile his tined tail lightly swishing indicating he was content and slowly losing his nervousness " S..same, I..i ha..haven't s..spoken t..to anyone o..outside the o..one who s..saved me a..and two o..others from m..my "pride".. I..its nice to talk to s..someone new" he admits.

She nodded happily, making a careful mental note to not eat any of those. "I..I'll make..sure not to ingest them." She said, blushing. Though, she did have to giggle at the image of them upside down. "I..I'm g..glad you..ma..managed to escape them." She said, smiling, another blush coloring her cheeks. "I..It me..means I...I got to meet...y..you." She did smile, blushing. "A..And I..I'm glad I...got to me..meet so.some..one...like you.....s..so ca..caring a..and c..cute." She managed out.

Riesling nods, then flashes a small grin " They were rather happy to not chase me unless ordered after I did that to them heh... long as I didn't tell anyone they knew.. "he snickers softly then offers a warm and fond smile "I wish it had remained so simple.. though I'm beginning to reconsider that wistful though" he admits flushing a bit more red, which since he was green was,... well noticeable. "S..same I..im glad to meet you as w..well!" he flushed further red at the caring and cute part a slight squeak audible before he cleared his throat before speaking " Y..your beautiful a..and v..very kind as well, I..i doubt many would t..try ta...talking to me b..both b..because of m..my ner..nervousness a..and p..probably d..due to my "job"... I..ive noticed a..a few s.s.eem to think I..im similar t..to the Assassins o..or something.." he admits slightly slumping, he ahd no clue what led to that sort of deduction.

She giggled softly. "I bet." She said, finally getting a little more comfortable than she had been. Though at his compliment. She did blush again, darkly. "T..Thank you." She said, giggling again, though she did blink at that. "I...I don't...think that about...you..." She said, smiling. "I...I think...y..you're brave....y..you..he..helped us..with...e..everything."
