Perhaps she had a bit of a wild streak to her (the Goddess knew how much she had fun at the revelries), but deep down Cleo knew it was born out of a passion to do more— nay, a love to experience more. In a light voice, the prospective priestess laid out her offerings in a neat pile at her feet; ready to present. 1. a beautiful piece of art  2. a beautiful scene  3. a piece of beautiful jewelry  This is my paranda- basically a hair ornament/accessory braided into your own hair to give the illusion of thickness and length. In south asian culture it is custom to adorn every part of the body and I use this every time we go out to dance and perform. I've had it for years and though I've replaced them as they fall apart, it's always this same mirror style. 4. a beautiful flower  My lovely boyfriend gave me these flowers well over 5 years ago and I still have them. They were the first flowers he ever gave me and me being kind of weird, dried them up and had them ever since. I've lost quite a few over the years (they're fragile and crumble easily) but roses really do stand the test of time; and that is all the beauty there is<3 5. a beautiful song (link to a video/file of it, or put down lyrics in a spoiler) 6. a beautiful/tasty looking cooked or baked food (one picture)  7. an item that you adore  This is Primo, the horse that I've been riding for almost a year now. He's an old guy at 21 years old and has the most hellacious trot known to man, but he's been through it all. I think getting back into riding has been the experience that it has been because of this horse. He's so forgiving of my blunders and has been patient but stubborn; I just love him so. 8. a seashell  9. the ocean/sea  10. something that symbolizes or emphasizes love to you  My library! There's more too it on the other side of the room, but my first love was the Barnes & Noble next door to were my mom worked. I would spend all of my time reading and it's a sanctuary of sorts. I come home to this and I couldn't feel more in love ^^

The young Commoner had many ambitions but little means, and to achieve this goal would present her with new opportunities, widen her horizons, and she was hungry to experience more than the humble life she had led thus far. XD 7. an item that you adore  This is a plushie replica of my late heart-dog Bandit who passed at 17 years old, the company Cuddle Clones makes plush versions of your pets and Cryptic got me this one of Bandit for my birthday, with a close friend of mine pitching in for the costs, too. So not only does it look like the dog who meant the world to me, it also has sentimental value because it was a beloved and thoughtful gift from two of my favorite people. <3 8. a seashell  9. the ocean/sea  10. something that symbolizes or emphasizes love to you  This is a floating-framed canvas print of a "family portrait" photo I took of me, Cryptic, and our two dogs Evie and Astaroth (we added Pazuzu later, haha), so my family absolutely symbolizes love to me, and I got this print made for Cryptic for our two year anniversary, so the canvas print is also a testament to our loving relationship. ^_^

Into the temple, she brought her offerings... a beautiful piece of art This is a print from a very fun and wonderful trip with some very beloved friends of mine and I fell in love with this girl in the picture, Her expression is so subtle and the lighting just gets me. So beautiful. a beautiful scene A print from the same few I bought on that trip, a forest scene that I found too stunning not to take home. (Feel free to ask the names for these, they are on the back) a piece of beautiful jewelry this is a piece Rayvin and I put together, I bought the bits (minus the chain) And she put it all together for me. I love this pendant, it's such a lovely shade of sparkling pink. The dragonfly is a bit of symbolism, I get called 'lovebug' by my husband and dragonflies are one of the two little insects he's used as themes of gifts pertaining to my nickname. The other is a ladybug <3  a beautiful flower The bottom of this got cut off a bit but these are very important silk flowers, they are my bridesmaid flowers from my wedding. (I'm holding them for my friend that I wanted to give them to. Long story.) a beautiful song I've been watching you

I've wanted her from the mystery box set she can come in for a while and for Christmas last year, Rayvin got me a mystery box with no guarantee she was in there and yet out she came! I was so overjoyed for a bit of happiness as I had just lost my dog a few days prior to Christmas. The joy I felt that day helped ease some of the hurt. </3 It was an awesome and beautifully joyous day  a seashell This cute thing was a gift from my mother-in-law I love its gorgeous spines :3 the ocean/sea something that symbolizes or emphasizes love to you Below is a bit sad, so I'm gonna spoiler it for those who don't want to read the extra parts about this. so TLDR: This is the shadow box I put together for my late Furchild, Dakota "Daki" Moonstar. <3 Dakota was the epitome of love to me. She was always there, always present and by my side with a smile and a bork. These are the things that were hers and the simple toilet paper roll that she would always love to play with. This was the last one she played with, I found it in the bathroom hidden. I was so sad/happy. Her pawprint was the only thing I got but her paws were what I loved to hold the most. She was my sweet loving girl and I always miss her but making this reminds me every day that she loved me too. She had such a beautiful soul, such a loyal and wonderful friend that I will love forever. <3 That smile was the most beautiful thing to me and always will be [/spoiler]

"I give my offering to you Aphrodite, may you find me worthy." "well, I hope this is ok. I ended up falling into a portal where I meet some strange two-legged creature who calls herself MY guardian.
They were kind enough to show me around and help me with finding some items to use as offerings.
1.
"First they showed me this awesome art. It's from something called Spirited away. which I found it funny cause that how I ended up here."
2.
"This was near it and I just LOVED this scene of a cute pony overlooking the sunset on a lake."
3.
"I almost managed to nab this necklace but sadly this guardian was too quick and moved me on."
4.
"I found a lovely bunch of sweet smelling flowers but they were mostly dead, But I was shown what they looked like before they wilted. they are called a roselily"
5.
"We moved to another room where this lovely song was playing. it would have totally relaxed me if not for a wonderful smell"

"I never though peasant food could taste so nice. eggs cheese and cured meats. yummy"
7.
"This guardian was cut from the same mindset as me. I asked her what she adored and, after her partner, she said books"

"Sadly we couldn't find a real shell to use but the guardian gave me this photo"

"We are also Landlocked and nowhere near the sea or ocean but I managed to dig this photo up to offer.
The last item was a little harder as it was something that symbolizes or emphasizes love.
Well, they said that was easy for them and the guardian showed me her weird paw with a stunning ring.
She said this was a sign of true love from her partner."

"I nearly managed to grab it for my offering but they shook me off and I found myself falling back into our world again.
Sand is NOT the softest thing you can fall onto. but at least I didn't land in any water.
Sadly all I have to offer is my story and some images from my travels.

I must have asked my mother at least a hundred times when I was little if it was a painting of her and myself when I was a baby. I just thought the lady in this was so beautiful that it had to be my mother and me - it isn't, of course, but it always made me smile thinking about it.  a beautiful scene - While it is nearly always way too hot for me in Florida, even I can't deny the appeal of a blue sky especially after it has been raining as much as it has recently.  a piece of beautiful jewelry - These earrings were a gift from my mother that was given after I was accepted into my college's BFA program which was an uphill battle to say the least. I don't have a lot of occasion to wear them since they are so fancy, but I love them all the same.  a beautiful flower - Some of my mother's favorites and in her favorite color. I confess I forget the name of them right now, but we try to get them for her when we can. She loves flowers... even if she has a terrible black thumb.  a beautiful song (link to a video/file of it, or put down lyrics in a spoiler) - This hymn is beautiful in many versions, however I've enjoyed this version since it made its rounds being viral for a time a few years back. The acoustics of the train station just add something magical to it. They have all been the sweetest dogs. My aunt gave me this toy years back after she took a trip to Georgia to see my sister - yes, I still love stuffed animals.  a seashell - Okay so this is a little weird, but hear me out - it is actually something that perfectly shows the relationship between my brother and I. I wasn't sure that I would be able to take a picture of a seashell because despite living in Florida, I don't go to the beach much because I burn within like 20 minutes and sand is annoying. My brother and I were at the store yesterday and going up the isles, he pointed out a flower in this vase and I looked down and saw the shells. Well, I remembered this contest, but I had no pen to write the needed entry with so I asked to borrow his phone. He looked at me, asked why and after I told him he just squinted a bit and said I was weird before he being the nice brother he is handed over his phone so I could do this. I thanked him for indulging my weirdness and we moved on.  the ocean/sea - Unfortunately, couldn't make it to the beach for this one, but this phenomenon is something that I've always wanted to go see in person! The bioluminescent waves of an ocean or sea! Bioluminescent Waves! something that symbolizes or emphasizes love to you - Jumping on the pet bandwagon here, because anyone who has ever owned a pet knows that they are one of the purest forms of love. Sweet girl here is getting older, but that doesn't stop her from loving everyone in this house unconditionally.

Wow, I'm so, soooo sorry for taking so long with this. ^^; Medical things just sucked and I've had a nurse over every other day up until just a few days ago and it really threw me off. I spent most of June in an art contest that took up more time/energy out of my days then anticipated. Then I would keep forgetting and became embarrassed that I had taken so long and kept putting it off. ^^;
Anyhow, due to that I'll randomize for two random sphinx winners instead of one. (So three upgrades total.)
My favourite entry was Minkey (with Peach) for her very creative way of displaying her entries... I really loved that. Peach shall be accepted into the priesthood of Aphrodite. ^_^
Now I'll go add up the ton of entries for the random draws. ^_^
