Leaving a message here for the people waiting, I have had a case of murphys law. My graphics card decided now was a good time to scare the living daylights out of me and burn, due to all that had preceded I didn’t have the funds to get it repaired. I manadged to borrow some money to pay for repairs now and send the ‘go ahead’ so hopefully I have my pc back this monday.

I have had a graphicscard just quit before but this was my first scorching experience.

That's gotta be scary. I've never had a computer part burn, but I did have part of my 3D printer overload and burn and that was quite the experience.

Could have been worse, not alot had to be replaced ... just the most expensive part in a pc hence why I had to borrow. Was a lil to much strain on my wallet after having to pay for my new flats floor, furnishing and carrieng a month of double home bills and the grand news ill get an income cut starting this month. Surprising my wallet didn’t decide to keel over and burn instead haha.

Shop had one wrong part delivered otherwise I could have picked up my pc saterday already, its going to be teusday/wednesday now depending if they get the last part in before I leave for work or after. Pretty satisfied with this shop’s service. They where clear on pricing + send pictures of the progress + re-aranged my pc’s cables better then how I got it. Apearently the graphics card I had has this problem more often despite it being an Nvidia, pc is 4 years so no warranty im afraid.

But that burn scent, took 3 days to clear out.

Oh holy moses all the updates and messages to shift through @_@
Also had an eventful yesterday involving violence, blood, cops and a very shaken mom. But that's a story for another day.
