((personally I like Gryphon better but I just tend to use what others are using so there is no confusion or spelling errors on my part because im very terrible at spelling.))

((Well that brings up a good point.. proper spelling for us: Griffon or Gryphon?)) Jabari bowed his head in Rosalynd's direction, awaiting her distracted attention to return to the group before saying, "It was.. a difficult day but I feel the better for it. I thank you for taking time out to bring a group of us here. It was.. informative." His attention also drifted toward the peeping griffon cub. "Interesting. More reasons, I feel, for me to return to this forest in future." He makes a mental note of the one who found the creature and then turned to Besather, "Come." His head jerked a bit and the hatchling leapt onto his back, happy for the ride. It was really sleepy after such a long day of adventure! You are very welcome, I look for any opportunity to hunt. Even if you are unsuccessful, which is not uncommon, it's the day spent in the wilderness that can be savored. But I have found hunting to be a trial of your patience, which takes awhile to realize that you can't always find game, but to be tenacious and go back again. |

Jabari smiled and bowed his head to the lady. "You are very correct. Though I will admit my own failing. I had gotten used to the terrains on which I normally hunted and knowing exactly where to go and when for more fruitful days." He glanced over his shoulder and saw his companion curling up between his shoulder blades, claws latched into his fur. "But it was a good day out for my companion and I. And you are right, this new terrain will help me be a more humble hunter in future. And the challenge offered here is something I wouldn't want to pass up a few more goes for."
Besather puffed smoke, content to cling to Jabari's back and rest.

"Oh I had the same difficulties learning to hunt in the desert. It's tricky trying to pick up the habits of new animals, their homes, how to stalk them, ways to capture them. I was always so used to the cold northern forests that coming to Khemet really threw me off."

And perhaps this also means I should take more time to hunt in other lands as well. Since my personal goals would need me to interact with many a different species."

'I may not have seen much today, but I enjoy the thrill of the hunt and did learn a few new things...being in an unknown terrain. Perhaps we will hunt again soon?'

Congrats to everyone!! I'm only on break, sadly I do NOT work a job where I can check the forums. >>; gosh that space deer is super lovely along with the other prizes! That griffin is so cool!!
