A Hunting We shall Go!

Rosalynd loved to hunt whether by crossbow or falconry. It wasn't the game, but it was the providing and harvesting while able to enjoy the wilderness that she adored. So when the chance to explore Hellas, with forests she had never seen before, Rosalynd couldn't help but follow the sphinxes going to Phix so she could eventually get a chance to hunt in these new lands. 

Two days earlier she had sent out an invitation to other sphinxes from Khemet to join her in the hunt. But only a limit of 10, too many more and they would scare away the game with such a huge presence. There was no need to spook the animals, especially because she was planning on hunting by stalking the animals. A message had been posted in the agora of Phix offering sphinxes from Khemet to join her as she explored the forests.

It has now been two days since the message was posted, and those who wished to go hunting with the Duchess were arriving.

She could only take up to 10 sphinxes with her, and only the first 10 to show up. The early bird catches the worm.

Notes

This is a grid search game, there are numerous prizes (mostly animals). There is no limit to the amount you can win BUT whenever you win either a sphinx or a job upgrade you are done and leave the game.

~ The job upgrade options are hunter (if level 1), animal tamer (if level 2) or Ranger (if level 2)

~ You MUST sign up with a regularly posed Egyptian sphinx who wishes for one of these classes to play the game. No exceptions.

~ For this game there is the option to have the hunter with their current hair along with a bow and quiver (from the ranger class) instead of the base Egyptian version.

~ If you win a job upgrade it must be one of the three choices, and you must use it on the sphinx you chose for the game.

~ If you win a pet it does not need to be attached to that sphinx, it can be owned by any sphinx you have. (ie. they brought it back for somebody else.)

Rules

~ There will be sign ups for the first 10 people to post correctly... no editing your post (unless you need to re-post, then please edit out your previous incorrect post). Being able to edit is just for the sign ups. (In formation on how to sign up will happen in a moment so there is time for questions.)
~ There may be dice rolling BUT don't worry, your sphinxes will be safe. ^_^ (RP wise they may be bashed around and have the scare of their life though! We'll see.)
~ Each person (in order of sign up) will be called upon one at a time to make their choice on the map due to a few encounters having more interaction.
~ You will have 5 minutes to reply once your turn is called.
~ Once you win a sphinx or a job upgrade you are done and must leave the game.
~ There is no limit to the amount of pets you can win.
~ If you miss your turn, you just miss your turn. BUT if you miss three in a row you will be out.

Dice rules

~ There may be calls for dice rolls here and there. If there are it will be a d20 roll. If you don't know how, hit the reply button (not quick reply) and click the dice which is the last box on the right at top of your message box. Don't alter the numbers since it should automatically be 1-20.

~ Don't worry, as I said before your sphinxes are safe, there is no danger from rolling a '1'. (Although in RP they may get bashed around within an inch of their life!)

~ At times I may call for a die roll when you spot game to see if you catch it, failing that roll will let the game escape, but it will stay within the same square. You may try the same square again on your next turn, BUT somebody may swipe in and catch your prize on their turn before you can! The difficulties are pre-determined by the type of game. Job upgrades and sphinxes have no rolls needed.

~ a natrual '1' does not take you out of the game, it's just a regular fail.

As you near the forest Rosalynd sits upon the grass under a tree, hunting and camping supplies nearby. A well trained falcon perched upon a branch nearby watches those arriving with alert, piercing eyes.

Rosalynd spies you and stands to greet those arriving.

Rosalynd: Good morning! I am thrilled to see fellow hunters arriving for a bit of an adventure. This should be exciting, I haven't seen woodlands quite like these ones before. I hear that there are numerous animals within it's depths and I can barely hold in the anticipation.

So let me take a tally of who is showing up before we start. I can only take 10 other sphinxes with me, any more and it may spook the game away. We shall wait a short while to see who is here first before we start our foray into these woodlands.

Signing Up

There will only be 10 spots.

Post your sphinx who is trying for the job upgrade, along with the words "(sphinx's name) is eager to hunt!" in bold to enter.
The first 10 to post will be entered into the game.
(obviously put your sphinx's name where it says (sphinx's name).)

Are we restricted to using a Sphinx that is within the ‘hunter’ catagory? (Ie ones referenced above) Could a thief be used?

Perfect, means that I can multitask (with supper and other things) if I get in and its not my turn^^

Dalila comes in and sits with Jaga and Spicy "Hmm i think i will go along.. an maybe i can get animal tamer.. or a new companion" she looks around to see who else may try there luck on this hunt.
