Nensala tried to catch her breath and swatted at Sahret again.

Souban couldn't help but let out a cheer as at least two of last year's participants made it through the first round. It wasn't entirely clear which of them she was most actively cheering for, but that was surely a good thing. Even as a warrior priestess of Bastet, she couldn't afford to make too many enemies.

Hasina watched quietly and smiled nuzzling Neria briefly in consolation over the loss.

Neria smiles at Chua. "Congratulations." She went to leave to prepare for next year.

Masika smiled, though a bit sadly, as she was joined by Chiyeko. "Yes. There is next year's trials." Her attention drawn back into the ring as the remaining attacked again. She'd wince a little internally watching them. Still feeling for those fighting the priestess.

Zekora sighed as she sat. Perhaps it was great minds think alike. She had chosen the same attack as her opponant. And so as a draw had not advanced. But perhaps having tried thrice she would still be welcomed on shear tenacity? She would have to see.

(No worries Pooka!! ^^ Believe it or not this is the first year I’ve been able to compete in the masked trials! I had thought that those who chose the option that opposed the number rolled were beaten and thus knocked out. My mistake. ^^)
